No need After you lay MM in tray or filter there is a little good way to do so not to let water cloudy! 1. Place plastic bag on top of MM 2. Pour water slowly on top of it, not to let water pour directly on MM as this will cloud the water 3. Remove the bag after water level is at least 6” to 10” depend on your filter. 4. Turn on the pump! If water cloudy it will clear up fast. Thanks Leng

@@bl00dysaw wow thank you for the reply Leng! I ended up rinsing mine just a bit. Due to the way mine had to be added to my refugium, it was better to rinse. I will do a video some time on it in my system.
Daniel St-Jean honestly haven’t seen much of a difference. Not saying it is a cause at all but shortly after adding my tank crashed really hard losing a lot of coral for some unknown reason. Thanks for watching I’m slowing in the rebuild
Tell you the truth it might do something special in a reef tank but I think it’s more snake oil than anything. Can’t say it has been great or bad for the tank

Good luck with the miracle mud. Been very interested in using it. I’m glad I found ur channel. Just love your tank.
Robert Anziano thank you very much!!!
i know it is pretty off topic but does anyone know of a good place to watch new series online?
Does using the mud help reduce nitrates?
Nice video will look forward to updates. Subscribed to your channel :)
Cesca's Reef thank you!!!
Well worth it if it does what it claims. I'm interested in the update
Robert Mccreary for sure hopefully I actually see something real and it not be snake oil
I wondering if you could just put these in mesh bags, rinse off in saltwater, and then just put the bags in a higher flow area?
Just saw this! That was a long time ago. Hope you like it. Any questions let me know.
Is there benefit to rinsing it out first? There is a lot of floating debris and it’s very “dusty”

You think I can drop some miracle mud in my little 15 g waterbox back middle chamber
How's the miracle mud working out at around the 6+ month mark? You stopped uploading videos shortly after!

i have had miracle mud in my tank for over a year now. i can confirm it works.
I’ve always wondered if this stuff was worth the money.. can you believe you just spent all that money on 30 pounds of mud?? Lol good video man!
Mike Lemming ya the money makes me want to throw up lol.

Any update?

Appreciate the thoughts. I seen Paletta using it and I took a stab at it. I didn’t see any change either.
