Best part has to be Terry telling the Ghost demanding it's body "We'll get you later" is funnier than most sessions I play and mine has a giant farting chicken.
Terry Crews kudos to you for doing this show and embracing D&D if he had 1/2 as much fun as he looks to have had he might get hooked :) Very fun show and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the time to edit, shoot an upload this.
The Dice gods are fickle and cruel!!! Great to see them split into teams going after each other. Even though the losing team looked so dejected. Totally enjoyed the unexpected episode with all the thrill and joy of Terry!!
i find it ironic that neither Laura Bailey, who plays Jaina Proudmoore or Liam O'Brian AKA Illidan Stormrage in WoW are not present for a World of Warcraft-themed campaign

(Everyone comment so this goes up the thread)
Thanks for this
Bless.
Do you have the timestamp for when Matt says to Terry that he is so lucky at rolling dice. It was right when they were fighting the alliance.
Up up up we go
Matt is always making all this homebrew stuff for these games :)
WOW style fireball with an attack roll, and the warrior gaining rage on his hits... So good. Matt is such a gift.
Ragegeneration on auto-attacks has been a thing since at least wrath if not TBC. It’s ‘only’ translation to d&d terms. Still fantastically adapted though
Pretty sure fireball is just a reskinned fire bolt, since at level 5 the cantrip would deal 2d10. Still, the warrior gaining rage is a nice touch.
I came for Terry Crews, but then I came for Troy Bakers acting.
I just simply came.
"That sentence didn't make s-... oh..."
W-wha... I... n-not...

Now THAT was an epic D&D adventure. That table was so cool to watch they were all epic players. So awesome to see. ❤❤❤
"I gotcha Cap'n!" The Ritz is just such a brilliant character. I thought the Horde characters were just perfect as a team. Alliance were good but didn't have the same chemistry.
I also loved that Marisha quoted some of the generic goblin lines (like "Time's money, friend."), seems like she played horde in her days ;)
They never do.
Just like in the game!
You have to Admit that it was all Terry's energy and passion for his Orc character that made this session turn out the way I'd hoped it was going.

GwnMoon Thanks
Best comment ever!
GwnMoon you're welcome..
The Truthful Ogres are flippin' hilarious!
I feel like I'm reading inside the case of the DVD edition!
"Here's the thing, he took my eye..." Made me laugh so dang hard.
“You bruised my heel, now I shall crush your head...” That is an epic way to use this text
Angelos 42 its extra fitting when you realise that its a biblical quote spoken by a priest who is drunk
I didn’t get it when I heard it but definitely got it seeing it text form. Good catch on you, and great use of the words by Troy
I just want more T&T playing D&D, Troy and Terry were both just so amazing players here!
I love how mercer was making the other 2 players call out their rolls and what they are adding so terry could get the hang of it
"Anyone need a drink?" ...such a Captain Barbosa moment. That was so much fun to watch!
every time I find out something new about Terry Crews the guy becomes more talented, relatable, amazing and nerdy... there's just nothing to dislike about him.
behold! The mighty NEIN-NEIN!
Edit: holy shit, that’s a lot of likes. Thanks for liking my dumb joke guys!
Hahaha yes!!
well played
Hell Yes! Nein-Nein!
Someone make the fanart NOW
Mitchell Hanna BOOM! Nailed it!
I love Terry. He brings such positive energy and charisma to everything he does.
Why am I imagining a massive orc with rippling muscles just yelling at me to buy the wow version of old spice when I look at terry?
Highly enjoyable. Also it's good to know ahead of time why I'm going to see a ton of Mag'har orcs named Thodak, Tthodak, Thodakk, Thodaak, Thodank, etc in-game.
It's his fluidity with storytelling that adds to Matthew Mercer's outstanding prowess as a DM.
He doesn't use the axe, he just shouts at the tree and it moves out of the way. He's orc Chuck Norris.
Correction, He's Orc Terry Crews. We all know he has a Charisma score of like 40...
Only 40? Charisma's not his dump-stat, man ;)
Chuck NORKis!
OMG what an amazing Episode. Terry was awesome, and Troy simply amazing with his role playing. Everyone else did such a great job with their characters. I would love to see Troy play in Critical Role's current campaign at some point in the future. Please bring us more CelebriD&D episodes. I can't get enough of them. Matt as always you are a national treasure to the D&D fans. Thank you to everyone behind the scenes and in front for this amazing story.
Watching someone create their D&D character is the same as seeing into their soul. They create who they would most like to be. Love it!
Never thought I would want ogre marital disputes.
but I gotta say, I'm not disappointed
Goddamn can we PLEASE get Troy Baker on Critical Role!!!
He took to it so naturally, I wouldn't have guessed it was his first time, love how he insisted on not helping the Horde at the end, real roleplay there.
I - Love - it!!!
“... and that’s what we get for having a drunk captain!”
Awesome new players! Always fun to watch newcomers get heart palpitations from playing DnD.
💞💖💯
Terry, I love how diverse and open minded of a person you are, not only for doing this show but all the other things you speak out for and participate in.
Best. Episode. Everrr.
This episode officially made me brave enough to invite my friends to play D&D with me. Thanks Terry
How did it go?
@@burrito_overlord8638 I only got 1 to play… then I impregnated her. Now I have a baby boy lol.
@@johndotcom9648 MY MAN!
I feel like I’ve stumbled into a wonderful celebration here lol
@@johndotcom9648 That is my favourite fucking comment of all time! I so hope that’s true 😂 🎉
Finally talked Troy into it eh?!! And dang Terry, never cease to amaze.
Honestly Terry Embodied the spirit of the horde perfectly, its the alliance that always seems to falter it's honor every time...
That was so good, loved the warcraft theme!!! Terry Crews rocks! It must've been hard for Troy too but he did a good job as well, he has an epic voice and personality when he turns it on.
Man, Matthew's Goblin cracked me up. This guy is a legend
Literally anything this guy does, becomes a legendary story.
That after credits scene, absolute gold :D
Terry loves his D&D games
Terry rolls a critical: POWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So just found this, let me say I have been playing D&D since 1982, and was a casual WOW player for 14 years, until recently I stopped playing it. To see this in that format is just awesome. I have not been able to be a part of a D&D game for a long time (miss it like crazy) and love watching videos of these players. Big fan and thank you for sharing.
Seein Matt and Troy near each other is amazing. I wish we could see more of them together
"I know your wife. Just keep that in mind."
Thomas Wang xD best intimidation EVER
Best because she is literally Matt's wife.
Ravyn Darksong thank you for the explanation
Ravyn Darksong oh that makes it even better
I rolled high on my insight check, and I think I saw fear in Matt's eyes at that subtle threat.
Man, Troy Baker is amazing 😃
Really love Matts ability to narrate and carry the storyline
This is better than most movies I’ve seen in a long time. So entertaining. Hope Terry plays again, he’s so awesome
Troy is a natural! Dude has insane charisma 🤩
I knew i was going to have to stay on UA-cam for a few more minutes, yes!!!!! This is gonna be good.
Just a few more minutes, like 150 of them
minutes...
Ya minutes= hours
Nicholas Demichele hours = days
days = years
I like this format of two teams having their own session first separately and then combining them at the end, hope to see more of that in the future.
Ashly and Marisha play off each other so well; you can see it with Beau and Keg but even better on here!
how can you not fall in love with the voice of Troy Baker after this session. that was amazing!
Best part has to be Terry telling the Ghost demanding it's body "We'll get you later" is funnier than most sessions I play and mine has a giant farting chicken.
Taliesin the Void elf X)
It's seems so obvious to me now
Terry Crews kudos to you for doing this show and embracing D&D if he had 1/2 as much fun as he looks to have had he might get hooked :) Very fun show and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the time to edit, shoot an upload this.
I'm half way through Terry Crews' book, he is quite a character himself and has helped me be better overall in many facets of my life.
Sorry but which book ? If you remember lol
I like that the way you worded your comment indicates that Laura only portrays Jaina in the games, but Liam is literally Illidan, just under a different alias in-game as opposed to real life.
but what about Travis? he voices Gazlowe
@@Dorokill man even after seeing his video on him voicing gazlowe i just can't understand how he does it so well
@@Dorokill As well as Turalyon
@@Dorokill And Taliesin voices Darion Mograine. I forget the others, but several of the CR main cast is in WoW, sometimes in multiple roles. To be fair, half the industry is probably in WoW. It's a big game with a huge cast of characters.
Terry Crews is such a legend. They should get him on again with Vin Diesel again
Crews vs Diesel
We need to make this happen.
