I'm A big fan of kerastase. My all time favourite is the densifique line! I'm from Finland and my hair is very typical nordic hair, fine. But when i first tried the chronologiste mask, i was blown away of how hydrating, smoothing and over all better my hair was after. I used to use magistral mask, but there is no comparision to the chronologiste one. Then i tried the shampoo and oh my, it really hydrates my hair, without weighting it down! I think this line gives so much better hydration than the nutritive line. Only thing i don't like is the scent. And price.
I don't care for the Chronologiste scent either. It's too strong and masculine to me just like the Therapiste line but I put up with it from both lines because both lines are my absolute favorite.
Guys I am hear with a testimony. I listened to Mike and bought kerastase, I used it this weekend for the second time, my hair has stopped falling I mean no hair even on my combs when I’m combing. This is a game changer for a black girl like me. Thank you Mike, love always. No more cheap cheap Walmart brands!

Just because you were not convinced of this line, I thought, give it a try and bought all Chronologiste products for Christmas. Being born in 1968, I thought rejuvenation would sound good. And I love it! The idea of a Pre - Shampoo is brilliant. The hair is soft and shiny and more bouncy. And oh my gosh, I love this scent! It's like patchouli parfum from the 1970s. But I see this line as more of a luxurious all-rounder. If you don't have a specific hair care need. I currently use the Extensioniste range and once a week Chronologiste. My Kérastase favorite series are Genesis, Elixir Ultime and Extensioniste. Too bad, Mike, that you don't have long hair, that would look wonderful on you by the way, then you could do a video on the whole Extensioniste series!
Can't say I agree with you on this line. To me it's absolutuely fantastic and I've tried almost all Kerastase lines out of churiosity. This is really luxurious hair care that will make your hair feel soft, shiny and nourished. You're raving about Nutritive line and to me it's not even close to Cronologiste! It does nth on my hair and to me it was a waste of money.
I'm 62 with pretty fine hair that is not very gray, so I don't color it. I like Bain Satin 1&2 and Bain Densite, but they tend to build up on my hair over time, and make my hair a bit dry and dull. I had a sample of Chronologiste pre-cleansing regenerant. I loved it so much I bought the whole line, which I also love. I don't have a dry scalp, but I am around a lot of pollutants from working in a big city. I love how clean and shiny my hair is now. It's gentle enough for every day use. The fragrance is divine. Maybe the marketing target is older people, because my hair definitely looks younger now.
I know you weren't impressed with this particular line, but personally, I'm sold and I NEED this. I'm heading towards my late 30s and I do suffer from dry scalp (dry skin overall tbh) so this seems perfect for me. I have a totally diff hair type than yours, so I have to do specific sectioning in my hair every wash day, and that pre-shampoo for the scalp seems brilliant. Thanks
Hey sweetie, I’m a Kerastase lover and I used to have some issues with my scalp (very sensitive, oily in some areas and just a little bit of dead skin flaking), but after I’ve started using the Chronologiste mask (The old fórmula but now I have the new one and it’s even better) I got very good results and I felt very surprised because after 2 applications my scalp got very health and that helped my hair growth. So I think that it’s more noticeable when you have some kind of issues on the scalp. To me is very clear that Kerastase wanted to get into the hype of skincare and do somenthing “similar” to hair, adding the hialuroc acid, vitamin E and the charcoal on it. After this amazing experience I’ve started to use on my routine the hydra apaisant mask, the Bain prevention and the genesis serum (by the way I discovered this line when I saw your video, actually was the first video I watched on your channel, so big thanks for that) and since then I didn’t had any issue with my scalp! Kisses and love from Brazil, excited for the next videos! ♥️
Years ago when Chronologiste first came out I used it and liked it , but I love the reformulated line even more, especially since I no longer have to use those caviar beads in the mask! The perfumed oil is the best treat you can give yourself. I haven't used the thermique in this line because I use the discipline line also. Chronologiste is definitely going to be a part of my Kerastase rotations!

i agree with this review that this range has too many claims that don't quite match up. For me, the shampoo feels like an everyday shampoo that calms the scalp but leaves the hair dry and frizzy, u must use a nourishing masque after that. So it really doesn't "revitalize" the hair, more like a balancing shampoo. The thermique makes my hair feels rough.
Only thing I noticed about this shampoo is my hair doesn’t loss as much as the curl ones series which I must give credits for it. But I do worry if it holds my curl since I do perm my hair as a habit. Since it doesn’t come with a conditioner so I use conditioner for curly hair mixed quite well actually. Cleansing is amazing.
I like the shampoo and thought it does what it claims. It leaves the hair on the dryer side but gives fluffy volume. theres just enough amodimeticone to leave it free moving, straight and not dry and stiff without looking or feeling like theres there slip of silicone in the hair. I had to use techniart pli spray to tame the hair straight after washing then drying but after that it sat right and felt/looked natural. Im guessing the aging thing its because it restores volume and the amodimethicone bonds to damaged hair.

I actually tried the shampoo and masque. It’s the MOST expensive of all Kerastase products, and honestly, I find other ranges a lot better. It does smell the best - very luxurious and heavily scented. But I don’t think it did my hair any favors. Hair does smell amazing for a whole day and is very soft to touch - almost like butter - but that’s about it. It doesn’t offer anything else, and by that I mean, anything substantial.
I second your review. I was so excited about this range, glad I brought the travel set only. I have used this 3 times now and found it to be so so. I thought this was range was for people over 35 plus, where hair growth is slowing down and this range would revitalise your scalp to encourage growth. The scent was nice but didn't linger more than a day. For the price I expected more. Like all kerastase range it's nice. but this range doesn't work miracles for me including that masque, it's only so so. Thank you for the video
I am considering buying it as number one the smell is ahhh-mazing and my hair was so soft when I left the salon. Not to say other products haven't made it feel so soft also but the smell is throwing me over the top. I was hoping you'd mention the hair perfume from this line. Hey Karen I will give you bit of a back story of the scent . Kerastase collaborated with Armani and Armani came up with the hair perfume/ serum hence the amazing scent !!!!

Yes...a couple times for in salon treatment. I did not like the smell at all. Their heat protectant is great though. I wish it had a more lasting scent. I think the Genesis line had the strongest scent, in my opinion. What do your clients tell you?
Maybe this is for middle age people, 50+? Also I wonder: shampoos are marketed for women and other shampoos are marketed for men. Is this just a marketing gimmick? Does it make a difference what your gender is as far as which shampoo you use?
I think its for someone, who doesn't have any specific issue, like dryness or frizz or anything. I think its like- " Oh my hair is lovely, its healthy, so lets try anti-aging" 😅🤣
ofc the pre-cleanser didn't do much, you applied so little... come on now 😂 i guess it should be applied like a mask but to be handle like a shampoo, like a mix of both, then rinse and shampoo the hair. at least that's how i will use it personally to make sure it does it's job properly

Every oil serum on the planet has alcohol. I done a full film on oils Kerastse vs Moroccanoil , I explain the alcohol content there x

Either or to be honest. Homme was designed to be more appealing for men with packaging ect. if you ask me. Ive used the Bain Densitie myself

Dermo calm is amazing! To me it's one of the best shampoos amongst kerastase
And they have a Hydra masque for scalp, it has very good reviews
