West Coast Kustoms 2004 Sunday in the Paso Robles City Park. Part I, Customs Mild to Wild

The West Coast Kustoms Memorial Weekend Classic Rod & Custom Car Extravaganza is a spectacle! Friday night cruise, Saturday show, A&W scene, and afterhours parties are a feast for the senses. The Sunday chapter is the final, laid back segment for those who didn't have to go home and survived the Saturday night festivities. Fewer cars (highest quality), fewer people (however those there represented the integgrety of the event), Alexander Brothers, Beatniks, and Billy Gibbons just to name a few. And more room meant better filming opportunities for me!
Next will be Part II, dedicated to the Roadster contingency always present. This will include the introduction of "Rat Rods" ( I'm not a fan of that reference as the efforts put into those rods represents much ingenuity and style ). They started appearing at this event a few years ago (around 2000). Also in the roadster category is the radical approach, combining customizing elements to the pre war automotive platform. Hope this rambling doesn't,t detract from the visuals of the videos. Did I mention, there will be more to come to complete my Paso collection and then it's off to Santa Maria. All this fresh "old stuff" while we wait for Memorial weekend, 2021...... I hope! Thanks
