- Labor day weekend I only was able to work one day but I built a small solar panel ground mount that will hold 8 100 watt Renogy solar panels. I also replaced a faulty Victron Smart Shunt. Overall I made good progress. I was not able to order any dumpsters to pick up the massive debris pile and the outlook is not looking good to get any soon because the company who supplies them is really backed up. I also discuss some future plans of building a small home on this property. I've done everything on this land without taking on debt. I don't want to be a servant to the lender. Next week I will remove the solar panels from the cabin roof because they are not at an efficient angle or direction and mount them on my new ground mount.

using the pi I am sure saved you a few hundred bucks. Your future home is what I want to do, a detach garage with living space above. But it would be more like a 3 car garage size so I can have a workshop.
Yea, it did not make sense to buy the Victron cerbo gx when they off the software for the PI for free. No brainer. I am opting for a smaller home because it's less the county can tax. I will have many accessory buildings for sure. I will likely build a new garage at some point. My main focus is just getting the "legal dwelling" as I can't build anything or get structure insurance until I have that done.
