Great video! I went for the Ego…10/10. It has really impressed me. Motorcycle manufacturer build quality and amazing capability. It is basically an electric pit bike
Great video, I can’t wait for the follow up, hopefully it’s coming soon! Would like to see a couple of races between the two bikes, to see power off the line and over maybe 100 yards. Would also like to see hill, climbs, and how the suspension Handles different terrain. Would also like to see comparison of mileage/runtime on different terrains oh shit at different speeds
It’s literally a higher mileage bike, sorry for not explaining. It has 500 miles on it and this one in the video is new with less than 100 miles. The range is determined by the batteries you buy. The kit comes with two 7.5 amp hour batteries and a charger for $2300. Or you can buy just the bike for $1300 and two 12 amp hour batteries with a charger for another $1200, so about $200 more than the kit, but 9 more amp hour of capacity. Each amp hour of capacity gives you at least 1 mile of range. So two 12 amp hour batteries give you 24 total amp hours of power and at least 24 miles of range. The top speed doesn’t change at 28 mph even with the higher amp hour batteries though. Thanks for watching!
Would like to see a 100 meter drag race. Also, some hill climb competition. Maybe some lap times around a short trail loop in a woods with some technical terrain. Definitely compare suspension s. I have the greenworks and its a ton of fun on my woods loop and thinking about getting a second bike for friends to join me... ego or greenworks, let the fun begin! A side by side range test would be good too. Can the ego's smaller batteries provide more or less range?
Ego is a lot more involved, I have a video on how to do it. I’m going to splice the harness with a quick disconnect to make it easier. Thanks for watching!
If you already have batteries for a lot of the other ego equipment, you can buy the Ego mini bike for $1,300 without the batteries. Now that’s a bargain better than Greenworks.
These are both pretty cool bikes, but more big toys than anything in my opinion. For the price point, they are way too slow. 30-35mph would make more sense
You’d be amazed how many people crash these bikes at just 28 mph. Check my other videos, but you can mod these bikes up to 45 mph with a new controller. I don’t recommend it, brakes are not strong enough and size makes the bike hard to control at that speed. Thanks for watching!

I agree 100%, but if you want to ride cheap the Green Works isn’t a bad option. Thanks for watching!

Filming this week, sorry for the delay. My Dad passed away and we’ve been mourning. Thanks for watching!
@ Oh man, I’m so sorry to hear that. I lost my grandfather earlier this year and it has been tough. I hope you and your family are doing ok,
Please compare the seat heights and comfort on your full comparison. Thx
Will do, thanks for watching!
Also, just saw Greenworks offers an 80v model. Same top speed but 27 mile range. Thoughts?
A bigger bike, but worth checking out. Looking to borrow one to compare. Thanks for watching!
Can you tell me more about the higher mileage Ego? Does it also have more power?

Im skeptical. I have an EGO lawnmower & it’s supposed to mow one whole acre. Needless to say it doesn’t, maybe 2/3 of an acre before it dies out.
What AH batteries are you running? Rule of thumb for this bike is 1 mile per AH, so 15 ah is a minimum of 15 miles of range. Thanks for watching!

I like your ideas, coming soon! Thanks for watching!
Which one is easier to change the rear tire on ? Ego is so Complicated To change !

do both bikes do good on ramps/jumps?
I would not recommend it, jumping off little jumps and curbs at most. Thanks for watching!
Greenworks one one has good dirt bike breaks long lasting and both are not for kids
Definitely for 12 or older, thanks for watching!

Absolutely, if you are already in the Ego battery ecosystem it’s the better option. Thanks for watching!
