    I started with Greenworks when they pretty much only offered corded tools. We bought the 18" corded chainsaw, corded weedeater, corded pressure washer, corded polesaw, and push mower. We owned and used them worry free on our 2 acre home for 6 years. We moved to our 20 acre place and realized it was a pain to run 3500' of heavy extension cords so we bought the 60v chainsaw, 60v polesaw , 640v mower, 60v weadeater, 60v vacuum, 60v leaf blower but kept our corded pressure washer. We scored a great deal at TS. For $169.99 for the chainsaw with charger and 2 batteries. In fact all the tools we watched for sales. Missed the BF sale when then mini bike was $999.99 at TS but will keep an eye out. Anyway I will never go back to gas powered tools for most things. These batteries last, I have the dual quick charger so I can have more battery power than my self power to do the work.

      Thank you for sharing that! We have been slow to the battery transition but I am sold. The new battery operated tools are fantastic and even the 60v blower has had my backpack blower on the shelf for a while. I absolutely recommend the mini bike!!! It is one of my favorite things on our farm!!! Take care brother!

    I used to think electric powered bikes were lame.
    However after having a Burromax 750R (mostly to get my step son on two wheels) I realized that they can be capable low maintainance machines. The torque almost threw me off that thing... and that right away put a big fat smile on my face. Top end speed lacks, but that torque is what you need in the trails. This greenworks mini bike is definitely on my watchlist. Best part is you can pretty much ride it anywhere and anytime (especially at night) without pissing people off.

      @JoeTheFarmer  6 місяців тому +1

      The electric sold me too man. Not as a gas replacement; just a different machine. That torque wants to fishtail in the gravel! So much fun to ride. Thanks for sharing that and for being an awesome Dad to your step son. You are a good one. 👊🏼

    I bought one and have had it a couple of months. I wish the throttle was a little less responsive at the beginning of the throttle. It is pretty rough ridding. I lowered the air in the tires to 8 psi and that helped a bit. The mileage figures are very optimistic unless you only ride on flat ground. 6 miles is more realistic.

    • @JoeTheFarmer
      @JoeTheFarmer  4 місяці тому +1

      It’s got a lot of torque for sure. Haven’t really watched the mileage but I would agree 25 miles is optimistic. I really enjoy riding it. Its a blast for sure!

    An 60V 8AH battery costs $300. I would have bought one or two but if use an 8AH in my 60V walk-behind mower, I can't close the lid.
    A removabe battery gives an electric bike "infinite" range. Carry a pair of spares and you can ride far without getting range anxiety.

    • @JoeTheFarmer
      @JoeTheFarmer  8 місяців тому +1

      Had the same issue on the backpack sprayer. The 8ah battery will work but wont let the lid close. And you are right! As long as they are charging you can ride for days! We keep a set on the charger and while using the other. How do you like the mower?!? I may order one to try out!

    First off I want to say I love all of your videos, me and my wife are normally watching from our big screen TV so i don't make comments from the remote . Started watching your channel because of the UTV videos you have... But today I am sitting at my PC trying to figure out the battery i am suppose to have for this machine, I picked one up 2 days ago from a Tractor supply around 45 minutes from me cause they showed to have one in stock. I just now today realized everyone seems to have the Pro edition of these 8.0 ah battery's, I ended up with regular non blue tooth ones, not sure what the Bluetooth does for it? And or if there really is a difference in the Pro/blue tooth and the regular 60V 8.0ah that i got. I called and they said they don't have any battery's with Bluetooth, suppose to be calling the company and letting me know. So far i like the Minibike, it doesn't go any 20 miles, maybe on perfect level ground. more like 4-7 for me depending on the terrain. but its nice being able to switch battery's and keep riding. I am pretty much just using 1 at a time. up to 20MPH is plenty fast enough for me, i am 5"10 216.
    Keep making your videos.. Love your Place it looks so peaceful. We have 5 acres in West Georgia.

      @JoeTheFarmer  3 місяці тому

      Hey man! Thanks so much for reaching out! I watch UA-cam from my TV too and usually "like" but can't comment on videos so I know what you mean. The minibike should go farther than that with two batteries, are you only using one at a time? The bluetooth thing was discontinued. Mine say bluetooth; but the batteries don't do anything through bt so they may have just repackaged it. I still use the bike all the time. I absolutely love it. We were sent one as a promotional tool but would absolutely buy one. Take care brother!

I was doing some riding away from the house and wanted to have a fully charged one in case it ran out on me so I could make it back.. Does using both battery's at the same time even in Eco mode work better? if so I might just pick up a 3rd pack to keep as a spare when I ride far away.

    The only advantage I can see over a gas machine is the sound, or lack of it, and yes this is huge, but it’s like a Tesla, and as you know teslas are nice and useful in town, but let’s go wheeling for an extended ride, or few days you’ll see the disadvantage it has too…

      @JoeTheFarmer  25 днів тому +1

      It's whisper quiet man. Have rolled up on a group of doe a few times. Won't go far, but for quick trips and fun around the house it's a blast. And I have ridden the gas machines; they rattle your bones and are not comfortable to ride. This machine (frame) is VERY comfortable. With a gas engine would be fun to see.
