    I worked at NSA for just 2 years, and before 911. The CIA guys that were also there were much more "spooky". They didn't have their names on their badges, we did. And it seemed obvious that they weren't letting you know their real name. Most active duty military had to wear their uniforms. The lucky few that get to travel to other countries often got to wear civilian suits to work. I think the groups and departments should be easy to find online. But in just my 2 years the names of the divisions (inside of a department) would change names once in awhile. No telling what is going on thes days. They were just starting to put up extra security entry points when I left. Anyone was able to just drive up to the outside of the parking lot when I was there. I imagine after Sept 11 things must have gotten much more strict.

    NSA is controlled by the Director of National Intelligence. The main duties of NSA are to manage global monitoring and processing of information for overseas intelligence uses. Currently, the most significant study issue of NSA is signals intelligence (SIGINT). Furthermore, in reality, NSA often cooperates with many other network and information agencies in the U.S.A for security missions

      I know someone who works with the nsa deputy director a lot. They are someone who gets called into work literally at any time of the day or night just a few days ago they were called in to work at 2 am they hold meetings and even classes on how to do Intel publicly in dc. They know a lot more than they let out. He hates Edwards Snowden ( a hero in my eyes a true patriot) and part of the screening process is to ask about Snowden how the new people feel about him and his work etc. The part that drives me nuts is I am a person who wants to know everything about the USA and what is going on around the nation. And anytime I ask about it they say "i can not confirm nor deny" and I get stopped there.

They have a connector on the back where you can hook up your BPV so the vest doesnt fly off in high wind. But kinda sucked because the top two breast pockets are just open to the bottom shared pocket space. Its to act like a backpack/scabbard/hiding spot. Boys, I think it would be great if you added a recommended reading list for these agencies and the others you've done (I'm assuming you run across a lot of them doing your research). You could also talk about the various commands (SOCCOM vs. JSOC; (CIA) DO vs. DI - and possibly even the various PMC's, as they're operating as surrogate military units anyway. Last, there's a channel call 'Liveth for Evermore' that details various missions carried out by the units you cover. Including some of that information would add depth the the video's, and make them longer, which we all want and would also bring in more ad revenue. I'm sure it's hard to get a lot of accurate details about fresh ops, but some of the stuff from 2001 and through say 2011 is old enough to get enough info to discuss the actual ops carried out by the units you cover.
    P.S. - As always, love the channel - we're all glad you started it and want you to be as successful as possible.
    P.S.S. - Still waiting for powerlifters vs. bodybuilders ...

      A year late but hear is the info you were asking about. The Military Intelligence Civilian Excepted Career Program(MICEP) is tasked with recruiting, training and developing a dedicated civilian intelligence workforce to conduct sensitive intelligence and counterintelligence operations missions worldwide. The program operates from Fort George G. Meade, Maryland.
      MICECP employees, in Intelligence Operations Specialist Job Series (0132), are actively recruited, trained, and assigned to conduct highly specialized operational intelligence functions within the Army. The MICECP is an operational career management program that requires its members be dedicated to the missions of intelligence and counterintelligence. Members must agree to a mobility agreement and be willing to be assigned and reassigned according to the needs of the program. Hope this helps. Good look and take care.

    9:58 It's possible to get a job at the CIA without a college degree. However, most CIA jobs require candidates to have at least a bachelor's degree. Aspiring CIA agents, operations officers, analysts, computer specialists and more all need to get a four-year degree before applying.
    Most CIA jobs that don't require a college degree are clerical or administrative positions. These types of positions typically ask that applicants have a high school diploma or GED. Other CIA jobs that don't require college degrees may ask candidates to have certifications instead, such as from a technical or trade school.

I didn't see anything straight from CIA. Just stuff from Division level that came down to Company level for us Infantry and the tanker guys.

      Raiders seem to be more similar to SF because they both focus on foreign internal defense (they did a video comparing the two). A better comparison would be rangers vs force recon.

    • @dallasyap3064
      @dallasyap3064 3 роки тому +2

      Marine Raiders do direct action, foreign internal defense, counter-insurgency, VBSS, special reconnaissance etc. Army Rangers are mostly direct action, special reconnaissance, personnel recovery, large airborne & air assault, capture of enemy bases (particularly airfields). Marine Raiders are a mix of both. In terms of training, Marine Raiders have a longer training period than Army Rangers and have more skills than them. Although Army Rangers lack certain specialized skills like freefall, dive, mountain operations, cold-weather operations, tactical driving etc, they are still very good at what they do, they are America's premier raid force against HVTs.

    • @dallasyap3064
      @dallasyap3064 3 роки тому

      @@doc.l Army Rangers are more comparable to Marine Raiders than Force Recons. Force Recons are more of reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence gathering covertly and clandestinely against the enemy in support of MAGTF commander and ground forces, though they are capable in direct action but they are limited on this mission. Force Recons are more comparable to the Army's Long-Range Surveillance Units (LRSUs), who in around a 6 men team, conduct long-range reconnaissance and surveillance on enemy targets deep behind enemy lines for higher echelon command (usually division or higher), just like the Force Recons conduct such intelligence gathering missions deep behind enemy lines in support of Fleet Marine Force (FMF) the highest echelon command in MAGTF. In addition, since Force Recons are a mairitme force, they have additional maritime missions like VBSS, maritime interdiction, underwater demolition, sabotage of enemy harbors and vessels etc.

He doesn’t and can’t say much about what he did, only that he worked close with satellites and what not and was based in Turkey. I hope one day I get to hear more about this from him. After his 4 years he went to college and got his engineering degree. From 2004-2007 he was back and fourth to Iraq as a contractor working on the power plants over there, and then went back in 2013 before the job ended quickly due to the threat of ISIS taking more territories.
