Because food at restaurants use dollars so everything starts at $1.00, whereas in Bangkok it’s not dollarized so you can get meals at restaurants for much much less than Cambodia. You can get things under $1.00 from local street vendors in Cambodia though as they use more riels. Also Cambodia don’t make a lot of their own stuff but imports from neighboring Thailand so that factors in as well. It’s still cheaper than USA etc but more than Thailand
Nice video. Particularly interesting to me as I am apartment hunting this afternoon in Phnom Penh. Thanks for sharing. I have an idea of what questions to ask when I am viewing now.
watch your video and count how many times you say, "It's not toooooooo bad" in the first 200 seconds. Kinda rude towards the people showing you the apartment. Ok, correction - it's *really* rude.
There are a million condos on the market. I don't have to settle. You're a clown 🤡 if you think I am here to impress anyone. I go out with what I want, and I stick to it, and they will show you a bunch of bs you don't want to see. Clearly, you have never dealt with the real estate market here. Typical someone who has definitely never spent time in Southeast Asia. You don't like it, don't watch, I could give a @%^* about your opinions or feelings, lol 🤷 😆 🙃 🤣 😂 imagine you thinking I'd care what you thought lol 😆 😉 😜 😅 🤔 🤣 😆 thanks really that's funny. Brush yo teeth 😬 🪥
Thank you for showing these units. This maybe a silly question, but are you deliberately not giving the complex names or street names because of the consulting thing?
I have people who I know through previously relationships they took me to so many I don't recall all the names. I know a few that are shit and a few that are good at my standard but largely I work with local partners that can get under market real estate if the person is self driven and I use my driver's services one for normal prices but extra support and services. I generally defer to them. Both partners are local and foreign operatored
@@r.y.s.1906 We've been staying that area for over ten years now now and their condo looks nice with parking ramp and security guard 24/7. We really like the location is only 15 minutes out of the city and along Hwy1 which is easy for us in case we need to take a bus to Vietnam. There are all kind of food around the condo with Khmer, Vietnamese, and Chinese restaurants. Again, we really like this gated community with many parks, trees, and it's quiet to walk or bike around!
Depends on what you like. You won't get a rooftop in a high rise with a steam and suana for that price in most of southern Europe. Also, the extremely easy pay to play visa system either. If you're a euro citizen, maybe buy iys kind of apples and oranges.
Hey, we have a consulting service for prospective expats. We don't offer free referrals, sorry, but if you'd like to work with us, we can reach us on the fb fan page. If not, best of luck.
Hi I would really like to speak with you in regards to relocating there from dallas tx...have lots of questions..do you have a Facebook or Instagram so that we can chat? Thank you in advance

I charge for any if my contacts and advice.
Great video
Thanks Unk!
Great video, how much you need pay for water and electricity typically per month?
Depends on use. We use a fan no ac. Lived in SEA a long time. So climatized. $60 to $70 power water like $10
What grocery store services BKK1? Thanks
There are many
Just out of curiosity, have you been to Peng Huoth Beoung Snor? What are your thoughts on the Polaris 23 Condo?

@@rebornabroad what do think of the area and condo itself?

Hey how much would it be an apartment with 2-3 bedrooms in BBK1? Amazing Content. Thank you very much for your work
Depending on quality $600 up
Phnom Penh is already to expensive. You can get a studio for 400 in southern Europe too. Not worth it

Is BKK1 near 136 and the party zone?
If you'd like to set a time to do some hourly consulting, reach me on the Facebook fan page.
What was the internet speed?
It was ok. Enough to live stream, but it largely depends on the building.
Any recommended agents? Is real-estate khmer realty any good
