@@RCBirds the stock plastic shocks are just weak. It may be okay for Slash or Bandit, but definitely not good for Stampede or rustler. Metal shocks is a must. Thanks for watching🙏🏼
Nice upgrade Vic some of those alloy shocks are extremely good quality but the springs are always a bit of a let down with them to tense but worth the purchase just for the shock 👊
@@rcuintheshed6981 Thanks Mark. The shocks are the main weakness in this car and upgrades are quite expensive. I've been trying 3 budget/generic shocks for this car and this one is the best. The Springs are let down, lucky is the same size as the stock springs. Thanks for watching Mark, much appreciated🙏🏼
@@MechanicallyFun hey mate just out of curiosity my summit suddenly stopped on the weekend esc turns on but just flashes green then turns itself off I'll try all the obvious first change transmitter batteries etc when I go back to the cabin on the weekend.... have you got any ideas what it might be
@@rcuintheshed6981 I'm not quite sure Mark. I don't have the original ESC anymore as I've swapped it to brushless system. I've experienced, one time when the transmitter battery is low, regardless I've replaced the battery on the transmitter it still not connecting to the receiver. What I did was unplugged and replug back in the cable from the ESC to receiver while the ESC is on. I'm guessing for my one it's something to do with connector cable got dirty, maybe try to clean the connector cable from ESC to receiver. Hopefully that will fix the issue.
@@BasBoyRC I'm not quite sure as well. I've tried 2 other generic after market shocks. These one fit the stock springs and it feels like a good quality, good quality o-ring as well. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
Ty for sharing big thumbs up 👍🏼
Thanks Mate, Thanks for watching, much appreciated👍
Awesome job. Even for the blue bling it was worth changing the shocks.

I do not get why these after market shocks come with such hard springs. I had it on a few set, but good the Traxxas springs fitted.
