😎🚗 Hey RC fam, back again with another video! On this crawl, we've upgraded the ESC and servo. It almost feels like cheating because these upgrades have really turned the RGT into one capable crawler. I'm happy with where it is right now and will be focusing on improving my skills rather than the car itself. As always, thanks for watching-you are all legends! 🙌🎉

@@REPLAYRC 👍🏼 Thanks for watching👍🏼
I love the summit so much but since they discontinued it parts are foing to be hard to find now 🥺
@@ezraredgwell they are great, mine is 12 years now. Parts are difficult to find, but there are many aftermarket for this car. Shame that Traxxas update erevo 2.0 but not summit. Thanks for watching, much appreciated👍🏼

@@MechanicallyFun your welcome it's brilliant sharing
jumpshot is awesome 👌 👍👍😎😎
It's great Value. Thanks for watching, much appreciated👍🏼
You had any issues with the 48dp? Either way the 32p is a nice upgrade 👌🏻 👍
Yep, have round up 2 of the 48p spur, I end up looking for a solution that does not require too much work. So far, the 32P have lasted and have up the punch level on the esc to max, it's holding up. thanks for watching, much appreciated.
Nice run at the skatepark 😊 mini Talbot showed no mercy 😂
Thanks, nope he did not hesitate at all. To the moon🤣
That was gold Vic "and then you can fix the car" immediately dad is fixing the car was a great jump though absolutely shocked me start was a bit rough rest of his driving was impressive to be honest nice run you two 👊
@@rcuintheshed6981 My heart skipped a beat when I saw him speed up the ramp and launch that car into the air! I was sure it was going to be smashed to bits. Luckily, it’s just the shocks and steering links popping out easy fixes to pop back in! He is getting better with this driving. Thanks for always watching Mark appreciated🙏🏼
Cool run bro🤙🏽
@@jspeedrc Thankyou. Thanks for watching, much appreciated👍🏼
Yes, he watches to much Talbot. That's a large skate park, twice the size of my main one. Good bashing session 🙂
@@BasBoyRC hahaha, he was so keen to sent it, the steering linkage just kept popping out after that jump. Lucky nothing break. It's a great skatepark. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
@@MechanicallyFun Kids love sending an RC and good this one only popped things. I like to as well but I do not over do the amount of heavy jumps and try to land on grass when I do.
Oh my, that was a quick break! Good thing it was an easy fix.
@@Paul__FCyep, lucky it pop back in and nothing broken. Thanks for watching, much appreciated👍🏼
Nice bashing session guys 😎 Great video 👍👍🏁🏁
@@RallyandTrail thank you, thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
Awesome bashing video👍
@@RCBirds thanks Dirk, much appreciated🙏🏼
The reliability's of the ESC is the problem. I have experimented with at least 7 of these and had about 4 fail. Yes they work well if functioning. The app has too many bugs
@@Markooboy yep, that was what I've been told. It's just luck sometimes you get the good one or the other way around. The app can only sync one setting at a time. Overall if we get the good one it's pretty amazing what it turn the stock crawlers to. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
Can you add a part list for conversion?
@@MPHI77 hi ya for brushless conversion, 3650 Can is the one that I used. I've initially tried 3660 can motor but the diff cannot handle the power. In this conversion motor is 4000kv 3650 can surpass hobby and ESC is hobbywing 60 amp, I removed the grease and add thick graphite grease in the diff for better handling. I did gear conversion as well on another video. It is a great value car unfortunately it need some work. Thanks for watching, much appreciated.
Cool😊
@@jspeedrc thanks for watching🙏🏼
Nice👍
@@RCBirds thanks🙏🏼
I usually just put HW Fusion SEs in my rigs….great slow modulation control over average brushed set up…. Great improvements on your rig overall..
@@markcole6475 I did have a fusion pro on element Bushido they are great. The price of the 1080 is one of the factor to consider. 60 aud for 1080, might as well add another 40 and get fusion SE. I thought why not give this one a go, ISDT is around 37Aud and turned out to be surprisingly good. The throttle response is smooth and powerful. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
I drive RWD, AWD is much easier
I'm about to convert this TT02 to RWD. Will give it a try, thanks for watching, appreciated👍🏼
@ Nice, RWD is much more realistic. I recommend you do it. You’ll have way more potential, and you can have a lot more fun with it. It’s just harder
Definitively a great upgrade
@@RCBirds yep, would recommend this ESC, power deliverance is so smooth as if it's a brushless system👍🏼 thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
The upgrades working well, you are practice makes perfect.
@@BasBoyRC The upgrades done to this car is perfect, it is where I would say the sweet spot now. Yep I need to focus on my skills now and try to find and understand the best lines to used. Thanks for watching Mal, much appreciated🙏🏼
Top footage dude 😎 It’s great when upgrades actually upgrade the performance rather than just being shiny 👍🏁🏁
@@RallyandTrail Thanks, this is a great crawler and with just minimum upgrades it can be a weapon. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
Nice amazing sharing my friend 👍🤩💯
@@CODBOY19 thank you, thanks for watching, appreciated🙏🏼
Nice upgrades and test👍
@@RCBirdsThanks Dirk, thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
Nice start in this part of the hobby.
It is, I've purchased some upgrades to make the steering angles better and 2WD. Hopefully I can be a better driver. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
Sweet upgrades 🙂
@@BasBoyRC Thanks, the ISDT is a great ESC. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
I run them esc’s in 6-7 of my rigs and they’ve been great , seems the updates have sorted out the early problems they had 👍 Have a great weekend my friend 😊🙏🏁🏁
@@RallyandTrail they are great, tested it on the crawling track after the upgrade, it feels like I'm cheating, it is so smooth and good power. The downhill break is so smooth as well. Video coming out soon. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
Downloaded for the weekend Vic 👊
@@rcuintheshed6981 thanks Mark🙏🏼
Nice work explaining it Vic and good solutions rather than chase your tail 💪
Thanks Mark, I end up 3d printing the servo mount and purchased Hobby wing 16BL30 to fix the issues. thanks for watching, much appreciated 👍
Excellent work Vic that's so good to see you trying drifting now learning about other parts of rc is so interesting you'll learn a lot from drifting to improve the speed runs aswell it's pin point accuracy drifting exactly when to anticipate the corner the throttle control and steering and that's without a gyro and 4wd you did awesome Vic 👊
@@rcuintheshed6981 Thanks Mark, theres a room for improvement. I managed to order the 2WD steering kit for this Tamiya touring car and also hard rubber not plastic drift tyres that was used in this car. Hopefully I can do half as good as the others with the conversion kit, I would be happy with that. Thanks for always watching Mark, much appreciated🙏🏼
@MechanicallyFun rubber tyre's are a lot of fun faster lap times you'll learn control on those then go up to plastic but they're better at an indoor painted track I progressed to comp wheels man they're difficult to master drifting is a whole new rabbit hole but it's oddly addictive
Looks good, keep it up 👍 👍 👍
@@KPtain_RC thank you, thanks for watching much appreciated🙏🏼
You did better than me!!
@@Paul__FC I think you are just being nice😃 hopefully I can do better next time. Thanks for watching, much appreciated👍🏼
@MechanicallyFun oh no, I try drifting my associated hoonitruck and now the body is cracked on all four corners. 😄
@ oh no, the good looking hoonitruck, hopefully shoegoo and dry wall tape can patch it up. Thanks for the nice comment. I might change this TT02 platform to RWD drifter. Thanks for watching🙏🏼
Nice work dude 😎 I love that little setup in the car park 👍👍🏁🏁
@@RallyandTrail Thanks, Hopefully I'll get better next time. Thanks for watching, much appreciated👍🏼
You were way better than I can do it, but a nice surface to drive on.
@@BasBoyRC it's difficult for me, I'm tempted to just put the stock tyres back and start hooning around the parking lot😂. Thanks for always watching Mal, much appreciated🙏🏼

Awesome collection of RC's. Great job on the LunchBox. 👍👍
Thanks, I used to have more, I have sold half of it during covid lockdown. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
@@MechanicallyFun Sorry to hear that. I would honestly like to get rid of a few of my cars just to buy upgrades for the others.
I don't own any Axial RC's so it's hard to comment on durability. This is the first time seeing this particular monster truck. It looks really nice and takes the ramp well. I don't understand all the breakage but yes that's hard on the wallet. Very nice video hopefully you can sort out the axel issues.
Axial SMT10 is known for breaking all the time. As it is based on a crawler. Regardless there are aftermarket part available. Hopefully I can sort it out. Thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
@@MechanicallyFun Thanks for the info. I just noticed that the SMT has rear sway bars. Similar to the LMT. Very cool.
Good job my friend, have a nice day.
thanks for watching, much appreciated🙏🏼
I haven’t even driven my mt10. But was gonna change motor. When I tighten the motor in the mount the pinion is at a slight slight angle to the spur gear. It’s the same when I put the stock motor on. I’ve bought more stock mounts and the aluminum one that M2’c had before. I don’t dare to drive it since I’m afraid it will strip. Is your also at a slight angle?
@@t3floz I'm not quite sure if it on a slight angle. Have bent my motor mount twice and re bent it back as M2C mount with shipping to Australia is more than $100aud. I changed motor to 3660 can and stock is 3650 can, the motor mount can't handle the weight of 3660 motor.
Thanks for the Information!
