    My baby girl is due in august and her daddy is black. I’m a hairstylist tho, they never taught me proper black/mixed hair routines. This is the video I needed! Thank you for explaining so well

    Omg thank u!!! I’ve been looking so long for a baby that has the same amount of hair! For some reason I was wondering what have any mother did to their 8 month old with a head full of hair. My niece hair gets tangled so fast it’s ridiculous! But she isn’t mixed. She does not like getting her hair combed so I do her hair when she is asleep. Now I’ve got a bonus bc you also shared the products with me! Thanks!

      Desto So Crazy ♥️♥️ ive also just started putting almond oil in her hair after I use the leave in spray and curl cream and it’s worked wonders keeping her hair soft and detangled

    Omg your daughters mannerisms are just like my daughters. I do the same style you do. My daughter is white and black and has the same texture as your little one. I have not heard of the honey boo products so thank you !

    My son hair is like this and I'm having a hard to trying to find something that is going to work for his hair and a good moisturizer. How often do you wash. Just have a lot of questions.

    My son has a dry patch in the middle of his head too like close to his head, at the base of his curls. He’s black & white and almost 1. I hadn’t heard anyone describe it like that, but that’s exactly what he has too!

    • @Shaaanelle
      @Shaaanelle  4 роки тому

      Brittany Gottschalk it just needs extra care. My hair curl pattern is tighter in the middle, but it’s not that it’s her curl pattern that’s different, it’s just drier than the rest. I think it has to do with exposure, especially to the sheets at night. I share my silk pillow with her, you can try that out too. But I’ve posted an updated routine for her on my channel and we’ve since added oil to her hair and it’s helped a lot. I usually put it in after I wash her hair, sometimes with leave-in and sometimes just by itself. ♥️

    Hey, my daughter is mixed too the same way (Black mom/Mexican Dad) and I have not been able to get her hair to grow. 😭 do you have a list of all of the products you’ve used? I’m a 1st time mom and it’s been rough!

      Hi! So I actually have the products listed in the description box of her updated video! Here’s the link for it: ua-cam.com/video/D59xuRuQmUk/v-deo.html hopefully this helps, but what I can say is that firstly, I think hair growth at so young of an age is strongly related to genetics, lol. My husband’s side of the family has pretty thick strong and long hair. I also have very full hair. I haven’t done anything particular for growth, I’ve just been trying to take care of it as best as I can. Secondly, be careful utilizing oils on the baby’s scalp. They can cause the baby to breakout or have a reaction so start with very small amounts. Lastly, sometimes baby’s hair can be pretty dry because they don’t sleep with pillows, and you should be very careful with bonnets on the baby (although I listed one in the description box), but sleeping directly on the sheets can sometimes cause their hair to dry out lol. Maybe buy some satin/silk sheets to help with moisture and length retention. Never do anything you’re uncomfortable with and be careful introducing new products to your baby. I would say try them on yourself first lol. I hope the tips from both videos are helpful and I wish you and the baby the best!! Don’t rush her growth. Some baby’s boom into their hair after 3 years old and have waist length by age 6 lol. Just depends on the baby. ♥️♥️

      Shaaanelle Thank you so much! I will be trying this out and I’m so glad I came across this video. My hair is super thick and I just went natural and my boyfriend has that amazing Mexican hair but super thin lol so my daughter falls in the middle of thin and short hair and she just turned a year. I’ve tried so many things but I’m hoping this one is the product we use forever!! All of us! Thank you again!! 🤩

    Thank you so much for this!! I’ve been trying to find new products to use in my sons hair. I’ve been using Cantù on his hair right now and it’s not awful but it’s not great. He is somewhere between a 3a 3b texture and a lot of things I’ve tried have either been not moisturizing enough or way too much and it makes his hair super greasy.

    When did her curls start coming in and how can you tell the hair type? People say usually around 3 months and I'm curious on how to tell a hair besides 4c.

    • @Shaaanelle
      @Shaaanelle  4 роки тому +2

      La Vinyl they started coming in around 4/5 months. I don’t really like to hair type further than the number because people have their own interpretations of what they see and how they want to categorize. For instance a lot of people would categorize me as 4c but there are curl patterns waaaay tighter than mine. There are just so many different hair textures/types/density and shrinkages that I find it hard to lock someone in a box. So I just consider her in the 3 category for anyone looking to find something similar to theirs/their baby. She definitely could be in the 2’s and the nape of her neck is straight, lol. So that’s why I don’t like to put her in a category if I can help it. 😂♥️

      So it’s just the shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and moisturizing cream. They don’t have a ton of products so if you can’t find what you’re looking for it could just be hard to locate. ♥️
