The late Reggie Lucas wrote this song and produced most of Madonna’s debut album. He was a great guitarist who played with Miles Davis in the 70’s, and obviously a great songwriter and producer as well!

A Madonna song you need to react to is "Take A Bow". Babyface sang back up on this track.

Yeah, I like what you said. Believe it or not now, there was a time when Madonna was not known, when this came out on radio and in video, but it was of the time and it had heart, and it resonated. It was soft but tough. It was from a lived experience. But it didn't yet come with the introduction, the bells and whistles, I remember for me, that it was authentic and the public response pretty quickly was as authentic

Initially, Madonna was marketed to black radio stations which was what I primarily listened to in the early eighties. Nobody really knew anything about her until the videos started being released.🖖🏼

As a guy who loves Yes, Rush, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc., but also Bread, America, Carpenters, and others, I love Madonna. I think her music is wonderful Pop, but it was her I was most drawn to. I had a huge crush on her for years after she arrived on the scene. I still wish fate had allowed us to meet and fall in love. That is her effect on other people. We all fall for her at one point or another, either for her music or for her personally ...but, usually both. I even posted a couple of karaoke covers by me of her songs on my own UA-cam channel, among many other artists. Her covers always get the most views, few of them that there are 😂.
How about some more Yes, Chod? Or, how about some Spock's Beard? They are a Prog group that is awesome!

Madonna always put on a great show.
Borderline - borderline, that brings me to remember a movie called Borderline. It was a great movie staring Charles Bronson and Ed Harris. I believe it was Ed hassis’s first movie, and it made him famous. It was a realy fantastic movie, and it discribed a big and well known problem. I surgest that you, and mabe your wife watch it, and I would love if you react to it.

Madonna there will never be another . I was obsessed with her in the 8os . I’m sure every gay male was . She was just in your face not afraid to say what she wanted . Her beauty her sound . Unfortunately todays Madonna has lost touch

Janet was never at her level and never will be. Janet's music is good, but it isn't Madonna. Janet just looked like a darker version of her brother. She got famous because of Michael. Madonna did it all on her own.
