phil's band NEXT were signed in 1980 -for 100k sign on fee by universal records (the 1st 6 figure in uk history) and got produced by tony Visconti ( TReX-Bowie etc) so he made it big alright. He made it big!!!!! not in wealth terms tho! Wrong lable-wrong time-shame. Needed a small lable & a producer who saw their real talent. I've seen him 500 times live !!!!!!!
