He's still going strong in 2022 nice fella and very talented guy. Not many artists can make a living playing only original music in there own city for 40 years without doing covers or having to travel. Phil has done that and still is cause he's good enough at his job.
When was this made Kenny , Jeez he's young there ? I,m guessing 1982/83, only because you can hear China Crisis, song Christian in the background ;) recognise the State as well . I first met him in the Conti shortly after its opening night back in 1982 With my Dad Vic ;)
The AOM songs showcased here were not their best. All the tracks on the one album they released are incredible and the album is up there with ANY of the major post-punk bands anywhere in the world.

I used to watch Phil in Bootle in the 80s he was cool then glad I stumbled on this !
