My 2017 Daihatsu van does this bed thing as well but also comes with large cushions that flatten out the surface. Than open ups sleeping bag and spread it over and it’s pretty comfortable for a couple nights !!

I had a Nissan cube in Japan. The front passenger seat would fold down flat forward. In the back of it, there were a couple of cupholders and a flat tray space. Very ingenious.
I have 3 reasons why you should buy kei car as your daily vehicle. 1: It's affordable 2: It's reliable 3: It's easy to maintain than the latest "American vehicles" today.
The way the parking is at my apartment complex, I would not mind a right-side driver. For one, it lets me get the door for my wife and kids without having to walk all the way around, open, and walk all the way back. I can grab the ice scraper out in the winter from the passenger side, scrape the windows on my way across, and climb in the driver's seat. Lemons make good lemonade!
