Another superb video hope to get up to Knoxville next summer to ride the Three Rivers Rambler. You would think a train nut like me would have already been since I'm only 45 miles away! Thanks for the video!
The Rambler hasn't run at all until October these past two years. I don't personally know anyone at G&O but the two reasons I've heard are that the crew is spending a lot of time working on restoring either 203 or 60 and the growing fleet of coaches, and that the railroad has been very busy with freight traffic lately. That's just word of mouth though so take it with a grain of salt.
I love southern railway 154 and her Crosby 3 chime. Best whistle I ever heard. I'm never going to forget that whistle for the rest of my life.
Wow it’s great to see that they’re finally back running again
I hope to see 154, 630 and 4501 in 2019

The Rambler's a good ride, but sadly they haven't run in the spring or summer for a few years. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Same whistle from the baldwin locomotive in train sim.
That whistle kinda reminds me of tweetsie railroad #12's whistle but it's a different whistle design.
Merry Christmas man!
Merry Christmas!
Great Video as Well
Thanks! It might be hard to get all 3 Southern engines if the Rambler's schedule is as limited as it was this year, but I hope you can manage it.
Steam from downtown!
Awesome
Thanks, Merry Christmas!
can i use this video and give you credits?
Sorry but no.
Does anyone think that the 154's whistle sounds almost exactly like the Tweetsie's?
It's a similar (if not the same) whistle design.
Why didn’t 154 run this year until now?
