- We're back! There's a pile of different ways you can target walleye right now, but a light hair jig tipped a shiner can absolutely save the day during spring cold-front conditions...or if you just want to catch a zillion walleyes even if the bite is good lol.
Drop a comment below and let me know what you think. 👊 Thx SO much for watching!

I upgraded my boat batteries to lithium last year and could NOT be more happy!
I went with Amped Outdoors' 36V 100Ah trolling motor lithium battery system (which is two 36V 50Ah LiFePO4 batteries in parallel). I was able to shave off roughly 140 pounds 😳 by running those 2 lithiums vs 3 lead or AGM batteries, and of course get some amazing run times:

Which also freed up an extra battery slot in my boat, so I was able to plug in this 130Ah beast (only weighs 31 lbs) to exclusively run all of my electronics - fer dayzzzz 🔋 - instead of running them off of my cranking battery:

He’s back!!! I don’t know why, but “A little bit of yuck nose going on” got me rolling 😂😂
Now that was entertaining, with a nice splice of facts! Thanks
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching
Your livescope footage is amazing and helpful. Looking forward to scoping some eyes soon.
Super glad you're enjoying it! Thanks for taking the time to watch and also leave feedback!
Gotta catch 48 bass for that feeling. Lmao love it
I thought that was you out there on Thursday!
Where in F have you been man !!! Great upload can never get enough info on the 👀 s !
Rollin!
Great video. I was trying for some Walleye the other day using a hair jig. No luck with that.
What are your thoughts on using a very small swivel snap when Walleye fishing? Thank you!!
I try to avoid it if at all possible in the super clear, zebra mussel infested waters around here. I do sometimes use a small #0 or #00 VMC Crankbait Snap on reaction baits where they don’t get a good look at it before eating. 👊 Thanks for watching!
@@TargetWalleye Many thanks for the information.
What bait bucket was that for the shiners?
The smallest size (I believe it’s 7.5 quart) Engel Live Bait Cooler. Works great for a day of fishing with a couple dozen shiners, or then I’ll fill it with bedding and crawlers mid-summer.
I’ve never seen anyone use minnows on hair jigs.
I typically don’t, or well I don’t the rest of the year. But I love throwing light hair with a minnow in cold water or in the thick of a cold front. 👊 Thanks for watching.
We do often in the cold. Ssh don't tell anyone else
