It's time for me to return my Tesla Model Y and reflect a bit on the ownership experience as there have been some issues. Tesla has some big problems in 2024 with their features, vehicle quality, prices, supercharging, and more. Let's discuss some of Tesla's biggest problems in 2024, why the Model Y is falling behind as we wait for Project Juniper, and what you need to know before you buy a Tesla. Maybe you should WAIT!

I’m returning my Model Y…because my lease is up.
Seriously dude? Such a waste if time.
He stated his lease is not up until 2025! He is going to let his mom drive it until then. 🤦♂️
You can extend your lease , or also acquire for a swap for a Tesla
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
good one!
@@anna-sj9cpReally? How can you extend after it’s up?
I got my delivery today and with the car I was coming from, I don’t see how I could complain literally about anything. I’m just thankful I can drive this car.
Fantastic

I stopped this video @ 12:47. Your points on Tesla regarding the Model Y are valid. However! You DO know that all Teslas are steel wrapped around a computer; and as such, being a relatively new car manufacturer, especially being the boy a decade old, there’ll be more glitches than accolades. I’ve decided ( after 2 years of thorough research), to lease a Model Y for 24 months. Technology is improving every 6-12 months, so give Tesla some slack. I’m excited about their future products as well .
@@melangreathouse2209 I’ve kept my old car for over a decade. I plans on riding this Tesla till the wheel roll off. I understand tech is improving but that’s for everything. There will always be massive improvements with anything that’s created. But for me personally, as long as I can drive it and it works, then I’m happy. My old car had more glitches than accolades, with glitches being engine issues, exhaust, gaskets, cat concerts, recalls. I’m 100% sure if I can deal with that, I can deal with anything Tesla comes with. I also like to pay off my cars in full and buy every 10 years. That money could be used elsewhere, monthly.
You’re returning, you mean your lease is up. It’s BIG DIFFERENCE
Guy has zero credibility😂😂😂😂😂
These aren’t real problems
Agreed
Bizarre that you’re interested in the Juniper Model Y then? All the same issues will exist (price fluctuations, charging network, cameras, etc).
His lease is up
Exactly
but it looks cooler : )
All those things mentioned were known before hand, why ordered then returned?
I picked up my Model Y two weeks ago. Love it. Love how you can do so much with the touchscreen like plays games while parked. Liked your phone holder how don’t use adhesive.
Wow that's nice , is this your first experience here
Got mine two weeks ago too!
Do you own a car to drive it or to bitch about the prizing?!🤦🏻♂️
Got my delivery this past Sunday I can’t complain I’m in love with the purchase…but I acknowledge the faults you pointed out but the pros easily outweigh any of them… imo of course

The think I like the most with my Tesla model 3 2021 (and any Tesla models) is the frequent OTA updates we receive, at least once a month. I know no other car manufacturer that can keep their fleet up to date and bug free like Tesla does. ❤
Yeah no one comes close to tesla at all…

Can someone explain why I would need by phone up by the screen in the car rather than down low? Is his point to use waze?
Favorite thing: not using gas, not polluting, regenerative braking
regen braking nets you what? Maybe one extra mile per drive?
@@WarpedTrekker Prob just meant one-pedal driving so you don't always need to use the actual brake pedal.
Not polluting ? You did all the polluting beforehand when they tore up the earth to get the stuff to make the batteries 😂
At the time I'm writing this, full self-driving is available as either a one-time purchase which is tied to the car OR a monthly subscription of $99 which it tied to the driver. You can cancel it anytime and transfer it if you decide to upgrade your Tesla in the future. Also, summon features work just fine. Just used it the other day.
Stopped watching. First half of video is dude crying because he overpaid for vehicles during the pandemic.

I bought a model Y 2024 and I love it there’s nothing that compares to it😊
Wow nice have you testdriven it

I have not seen a single non tesla car in the supercharge locations. you are making up stories as they will be able to add more chargers and locations. It seems you don't like changes. ???
I just got my 2024 MYLR, and I love it...I was not a huge fan...at the beginning stages, but now since my dad took over my car, I finally decided to go EV., and after a test drive of model Y, I have zero complaints, and I love all the features i have, understandingly it is quite a minimalist car which led me to buy a bunch of items to ensure i have everything i need in the car storage-wise....but i was able to put all of my own features of signature stuff on the car. one thing is not good is car panel line of the frunk, you can see it a bit to the lefts, led to the car one side have a bigger gap then the other side

Many of these so called problems are small and complaining about superchargers opening the public is really lame. I want mass EV adoption and Tesla’s NAC is the “gas stations” for EVs. A win for the company and ultimately everyone.
First world problems of the spoiled…..
As a share holder I love it, but I will have less confidence on road trips as charging stations are already crowded in Washington and they are not being built very quickly. There will be a few years of pain during ramp up.
I like almost everything about my 2023 model 3. The price with tax credit in Dec 2023 was crazy good. I'm sure the Highland is great, but I am a completely satisfied customer. Favorite feature is never having to go to a gas station.
That’s nice
Where did you get yours from?
I can literally stop at gasoline stations over the course of an entire year in the time you will spend at ONE charging stop. I have no problems with gasoline stations at all.

I test drove a highland. You’re not missing much, it’s better but it is not night and day as the reviews on here would portray.
My favorite thing about my Tesla is the built-in dashcam(s). That has come in handy on multiple occasions!
Hey Mate. Greetings from Aus. You said you are going to return your car. Do you have to pay out the balance of the lease?
Do you own a Tesla?
What does this mean? You just return your car?
@@wtaylor810 yes
You cannot return a car after you sign. It’s yours, buyer beware. You can sue claiming lemon law but there are no returns. This applies to at least Virginia.
@@_beccasznwhat do you mean? Explain to me how would you return a car once delivered to you if you brought it outright? It has to be a lease if you can just return it😂
HI Robert, I like you obtained my 2023 Model Y Performance at the wrong time, December 2022. However I did get a price reduction and bought a demo car so my purchase price was around $62K. Unfortunately I paid cash for it so I can’t return it as easily as you can at end of lease. All said, I do really like my ultrasonic sensors for parking in the condo community garage with tight parking spots, walls and pillars. A must needed feature for me. Not sure it makes up for the pricing differential but it’s one way I can justify it.
I got my wife a Tesla Model Y last July 2023 and so far, we still love it. We love its performance, comfort and looks. We have the LR 3 row and we have kids and smaller family members that take advantage of the extra seats which def comes in handy. Though a bit cramped, all of us have to sacrifice our space for the 3rd row passengers however, the seating was comfy and roomy enough for a decent long trip (1 hr +)
We have no regrets and we mostly charge it at home 70% of the time on a regular outlet.
We have yet to go at least 5 hrs to a travel destination. .
I'm still holding out for MY Juniper. Favorite thing - I'm actually looking forward to the stalkless refresh. I like using my steering wheel to control features!
Just love that deep red color that is in Europe. While I have never owned a Tesla - I have been a fan of EVs and waiting for the new Model Y
Absolutely, buying the new tesla innovation shares at this point is a good investment and a no brainer as they are sure to yield dividends in the long run
I have also been waiting also , I owned a model 3 but I also need the new model y so bad , do you have free fsd update ?
I bought a new 2023 Model Y. I found the all vision system works great at avoiding curb rash with the visuals on the led screen. My older 2018 Model 3 didn’t have any system to avoid curb rash. Forward parking was more accurate with radar on my Model 3 over the Model Y. I like the all vision system over the radar system.
I love the Supercharger network for my MYLR. I don't use it often, but I don't worry about charging on roadtrips. My first EV was the opposite and it was stressful going on roadtrips, not knowing whether the charger I mapped to was even working. That's a thing of the past for me now.
I bought my brand new 2024 Model Y long range for 43K.
I waited for the BYD electric car to become number 1 in China, outselling Tesla and any other electric cars combined. Which made Tesla panic drop the prices temporarily.
So to make the other owners happy what Tesla did was to remove some customization options on the display 1 months after I purchased the car. I am so pissed. I bought that car because of those features such as traction control etc
My fav thing about my Tesla is the smooth ride and no noise.
Tesla provides a smooth ride with minimal noise due to its electric motor design and advanced technology.
Are you also a shareholder with Tesla
smooth ride?
I Love ❤️ the Audio System in my 2023 Model Y Long Range, The Bio Defense Climate System, the 7 Seat feature and its overall storage capabilities
Like the Performance Model 3. Not an owner year, but can 't wait to purchase one. Your video's have been extremely helpful
Great choice!
Tesla New Innovation Shares are selling real good
You can buy if you want, it's a great window to be a shareholder
moomoo? right. is it based in same place as txktxk???
I like/love lots of things about my Model Y I bought last month. But #1 is the price. With POS discount, I bought an INVENTORY Base Long Range Model Y for less than $43K. That's with tax & lic. EVERYTHING! I live in So. Cal. and I see them everywhere, but I equate it to driving a bug or Mustang in 1968. I'm constantly being reminded I got the best car for the money there is! And after driving it for over a month I'm over the moon happy with the acceleration, handling, stereo, safety, and the app. To name some of the perks!
The SC network is in the top 3 reasons I got a Tesla. My previous EV was unusable for any long distance travel. I also agree with others about not supporting Sirius XM. I even had it on my motorcycle.
I am a consultant of EV I can tell you sincerely that tesla keeps increasing by the day
I don't know, I tend to be more forgiving when they come up short. They set themselves such ambitious goals, and when they don't execute perfectly, I tend to think 'give them some time' -- they'll get it right eventually. They're constantly improving and incorporating the changes into their cars week by week. What other company does that? They're amazing, so I figure I can play the game too and just be patient. I'm taking delivery of my new Model S LR in a week, and I know I'll be annoyed if the horn is still just a button on the steering wheel. But I'll take it, and just get used to it. Why? Because everything else about the car is unique, constantly improving, and cutting edge.
How long have you known tesla?
You’re aware auto dealerships do the exact same thing on prices right? Rebates, discounts, close out sales, etc. you can pay 2 different prices the same day for the same vehicle from 2 different dealerships.
😅 I just picked out the new 2024 Y performance model. I reserved the new red, but the black is a sexy beast. A few things - do you think the FSD will go down? I just took the 3 month free trial rather than plop down 12K right away - especially because it doesn't really work right yet. If it has flaws - I think they should give us a percentage off if we commit to buying it now. Why are we paying full price and not getting a 100% running system and why oh why does it not brake automatically in reverse when parking??? WTF??? I'm so confused! Thoughts?
I have a riding lawn mower in my garage. When I park my new y most of the time when I pull it in the garage the stop comes on at the top of the screen in front of the Y. And I look for it to tell me to stop. Well I bumped the mower because the stop was in back. It pissed me off because I was not backing up. So why did it do that??? I’m going to move the mower. I need the stop at the front of the car Display.
Wheres the link for the phone holder?
Seeing this today(put out a month ago). Talking about the price fluctuation’s, like the Model X being $50,000 less/depreciation. I literally just saw a UA-cam ad today, anyone can get a Model Y for $36,000. You’re right it’s crazy(on the whim price changes). However, like you were talking about, the “Juniper” on its way is most likely the reason for such a price drop. In June 2023, I bought a Model 3(absolutely love it)not knowing about the 2024 refresh. I did get my full $7500 tax incentive, plus that was the time prices drastically dropped as well(getting rid of that inventory). When I started seeing all the hype of the refresh, then it hit America, thinking to myself “I missed out or should’ve waited a year”. I did demo the 2024 refresh and it was nice, but when I got back in my 2023, I didn’t feel ripped off at all(sure there was some cool upgrades/look)but all in all, the $$$ I saved buying it the time I did, also not an absolute HUGE difference between the two(IMO). I just know 4-5+ year’s from now, “IF” I were to trade it/sell it, I can only imagine, with how fast technology moves, what Tesla will have, and it excites me! I’m still like a little kid every time I get in my Tesla! I do see where you and other’s that paid top notch prices are coming from, seeing other’s with same exact model, etc…, could be upsetting. I’ve read other’s comment’s in here…”just be happy you’re driving an EV like Tesla!” Ik that a lot of people that say or hate on Tesla, just wish they could have one to drive! Or, ignorantly just assume and don’t know cause they’ve never stepped foot in one! Awesome video though, as always! SSL✌️
Do you think you will get the Model Y Juniper Performance this time? You said you regretted not getting that performance model before.
they called me, they said my oder for the Performance Model Y is delayed for 2-3 months - they are fixing the software. So I switched to long range
Do you own a tesla?
@@MaestroWenarto Great choice!
You can invest in the New Tesla Innovations shares
The dip is a good window to be a shareholder
Like: Acceleration!! In opening up super charging to just about everyone else (I'm not excited about this), has Tesla given their vehicle customers assurance that they're gonna work double time to expand their network?
Newly-made models like the Juniper will have issues with the manufacturing. You will have to wait until maybe Oct-Nov ‘24 so Tesla can resolve the majority of the bugs/defects.
I agree I bought a end of quarter 2022 model 3 performance and the following year and even now. It’s 20k-25k less brand new than what I paid for it. It’s would be nice if Tesla would compensate people that paid more for the car with free FSD software which won’t cost them nothing just a software upload. And maybe a free year of high speed charging. I think their customers would be much happier with Tesla if that did that.
The best thing I like about my Tesla Model 3 LR ( in the UK ) is the Supercharger network. Like in the USA the hubs are starting to be opened to all EV's. But they are (at the moment) being selective in which ones they open to all.
The Tesla Model 3 Long Range has access to the extensive Supercharger network for convenient charging!
no side collision avoidance indicators, The center screen favor right-handed people. If you're like me, with a dominant left hand, changing screens is more than challenging
That’s an interesting point, being a righty I never thought about that. If I had to interact with a touchscreen with my left hand while driving I suspect it would be a problem. Which would be the case in the UK and various other big markets.
@@tatata1543 My previous cars, like BMW presented a similar problem to me, but it was less of a problem because BMW always provided some sort of landing ledge, where the hand could be used as a stabilization point.
Tesla pricing bit me, I bought a Model Y June of 2023 and paid $15,000 for FSD then like 8 weeks later Tesla lowered the prices of FSD to $12,000. And because my Model Y has Hardware 4, several of the cool features of FSD don't work like smart summon, summon and auto park. Ouch. Made me feel foolish and ripped off.
Despite watching many videos... I FAILED to understand REFERRAL codes needed to be 'used' via somebody's You-Tube channel! Silly me! Who would have thought in times of e-fraud... that you HAD to... AND THEN Tesla says: "Sorry NO too late!" Unhappy but love the car maybe not the rules... NEVER gonna get to MARs like this!

hardware 4 is far superior to previous versions starting from cameras video quality. night and day./ compare the rear view camera... regarding the temporary removal of the summons mode while they make the software improvements to be able to use video only it is just a short time as 9 cameras give the car a better awareness status than any human driver would have while parking it. I have already seen many software upgrades that already show a 3 D view all around the car when parking it with HW4. The quality of the cameras video is so much better that it will be possible for them to achieve a safer and more accurate summons and self parking then the old system with bumper sensors that can't see as well as the cameras do in conditions that a human is in control and can see.
Person died from that system crashing and burning up ! Be careful don’t hit a rock and catch fire
@@e.d.-er7mvsame could be said about ICE cars depending on where he hit is (i.e. rear ending). some even were catching fire due to fuel leak in pump area hitting hot surfaces on engine. There is risk involved even on a scooter. Thanks for the concern
I got my MY back in December, I love it. However, my gripe is that now that I filed my taxes, i didn’t get the incentives of what I thought I would get. This put a huge damper on my payment plan, that i was expecting to lower with a pay down with the tax returns. I wish I knew that the Illinois State incentive was limited and they were no longer taking applications. Total crap from the government, but I’m planning on getting a minimum of 10 years in this car, or 20 years if my body holds up.
Do you own a tesla?
Fluctuating pricing is my only complaint...so far. Bought a 2023 Long range Tesla Y 3 row. When I purchased it, the car didn't qualify for the Canadian rebates. Literally a month later the car dropped by $10,000 CAD. It then qualified for the rebates. Basically in a month my car was almost $20,000 cheaper. 2 things that allow me not loose my mind over it. I really like the car and I plan driving it for the next 10 years. That said my thoughts of trading the car in when my Cyber truck reservation comes to be, won't happen due to the huge loss I will be taking.
Do you also invest in tesla shares?
Yes, but not really relevant to the topic. Yes if all goes well, I will make money on the shares that I have. Yes I know it comes down to the efficiency of how they build the cars or screwing over the OEM's. $20,000 buys a lot of shares. Still like the car and the company.@@Pauljefferson27
I do not and never have owned an EV; I watch all the UA-cam videos I can find in anticipation of buying an EV as my next vehicle (replacing a 2015 Nissan 370Z). While I will be using it primarily for short (under 50 miles) local trips (shopping, etc), I would like to be able to take it on trips. I'm gravitating towards a Tesla Model 3 LR due to the superior Tesla charging station situation; were this not the case, I'd probably go with a Hyundai Ioniq 6. I'm aware that Hyundai is switching to the Tesla NACS system, but that won't happen for another year. And I've heard nothing about existing Ioniq owners getting an upgrade for this.
So thanks for all the information you provide, particularly the items that have caused you to give up your current model Y.
Glad you are returning your Model Y. I agree that the biggest reason to return this car is that it is less expensive now than it was a year ago. You should insist that they keep the price up. Also ,the issue of not including the charger would be a deal breaker for me. I would suggest that your next car be a 1995 Honda Civic. Great car!
I love the Tesla acceleration, and my next Tesla purchase will be the Model Y Juniper update
Very timely video, my Hyundai Kona Ultimate lease uns out next month. Am going for Model Y LR test drive Thursday. My only real hang up is no Juniper refresh. Anyway Ioniq 5 LE
Which hasa lot to offer but much more expensive, Hyundai dealership is a challenge. no FSD and no NACS yet. Tesla is superior but interior is spartan and old. We will see!
Just bought a Tesla Model Y and transferred my FSD from my 2018 Model 3 to my new Y. They occasionally have incentives that allow you to transfer it.
Got mine yesterday. It virtually deafened me when it put the radio on full volume for no reason.
This is a feature I want
I just bought a 2023 Model Y Performance and the car has been amazing so far!
Robert I suggest you try leasing a Tesla Model S with the Yolk streering wheel. It's also not perfect for parking but there are so many upsides it doesn't matter. It is at a higher price point but when you pay attention to important details I think you will be very pleased. Hope this helps. Have an awesome week ! Dan
Thanks, Dan! I actually have a Model X with a yoke and love it!
Honestly, I would be just as frustrated. I just bought my first Tesla a week ago for the lower price you were talking about. $41k with the instant $7500 credit. I guess I got lucky, but I am really loving my Tesla.
Tesla reminds me of the Ford Model T. The earlier ones cost way more than the last ones built. I often wondered what the earlier owners thought about the steadily lower price.
I looked at a 2022 Model Y yesterday and noticed that it's recommended daily charging is at 80%. Does the 2023 recommend the same thing? I currently own a Model 3 and it is recommends to charge to 100%
Charging the Model 3 to 100% can help maximize its range and performance, especially for long trips.
@@Pauljefferson27 Thanks, But do you know about the 2023 Y? I am interested in getting one.
@@itsjrj I can show you how too!!😊
It depends on the battery chemistry. The model 3 probably has lithium iron batteries while all the Model Y uses NMC which should only be fully charged on long trips. Ask your Tesla rep to explain.

Returned

@@RobertRosenfeld1lease then
So it’s not just a “return” it’s a little confusing in what he says. Especially for those that purchase the car. I don’t think you can return it to Tesla unless you are willing to pay a price
@@RobertRosenfeld1 it’s a little known fact but according to the dictionary “returned” does indeed mean “to give to one’s mother.”

Thank you comments for saving me 12 minutes. On this video. After his complain about pricing I’m like dude I thought you were going to talk about real issues? Smh…
Most tesla owners should have factored the price of Battery tech to decrease over time and should understand that Tesla is factoring high interest...I would say if you can afford and ready to be rid of 1 of your gas city dweller than do it you won't regret...saved 2500 in gas expense last year
Love my 3, but may upgrade to the Y with the “ offer I may not be able to refuse!”
i like the heated steering wheel option
5:10 - I completely disagree, I have no need whatsoever for a mobile charger cable, I decided from the get go that I was installing a Level 2 home charger before I even got a hold fo the car, If it came with the car I would have been charged for something I did't want or need - it's never going to be "free" making it come with the car introduces a mandatory cost for something I never want, after a year 20k miles and multiple extended trips I never once needed a 110/240v cable.
Yup,overcrowding the Tesla charger network with the competition is a bad move
How did you return your Tesla?
Juniper won't fix any of his "problems" really.. but we DO hope new Model Y can get the same MUCH-improved comfort suspension & smoother/quieter ride the Highland Model 3 brought!
Really needed.... concern then of course, is if Juniper ModelY will also lose $7.5k fed tax credits. Maybe by next year, they can get more domestic battery supply?
Got
My
Model y performance for 38k yesterday can’t complain
Your talking about returning your Tesla Y while trying to get me to buy products for my Y, that your trying to get me to return? Sooooo confused!
This is March 20 and I just bought my model Y in dark gray white interior five seat out the door with tags and everything for 49,000 And that does not count the $7500 EV credit that was applied so that means I got it for $41,500 out the door.
Have you been watching the Tesla stock? It continues to plummet. If your stock continues to plummet you have to take evasive action to try to retain your investors. Lowering price is a strategy to sell more product. However, even though that may increase sales, in the car market lower the price negatively effects the resale of used vehicles. It also makes it difficult to trade in a vehicle is upside down in resale value. Even with the introduction of the Cyhbertruck the stock continues to falter. This is not a good sign for any corporation.
I’ve got to be honest. I’ve watched your videos before and enjoyed them. I have a 2024 model three and I have the new full self driving and auto park. The system is amazing and it’s working better than anyone could ever imagine. I don’t understand what all this crap is that you’re spewing on this video. I see that it’s one month old. I’m curious if you have changed your opinion on any of this. I’ve used chargers in Southern California with no issue and wait times. And I live in Florida and we have zero wait time issues. I’m happy that he opened them up to other car companies and hopefully will see a lot more bills around the country. Again, I have no issues and I think my, new model three is amazing
My like, it is just plain fun to drive. I have a 2020 LR3
Is Funny a USA company make a special model Y with features and updates only available on other part and not in the USA
People buy into the hype. They listen to a bunch of UA-camrs, who happen to also be Tesla investors, pump up the Tesla BS. (Good for their share price not for the buyer flowing their advice.) The new Model 3 will drop in price once the first wave of pumpers buy.
But the reality is, Tesla has to keep their factories producing cars. They need volume. So if you really want an over hyped Tesla just wait and prices will go down.
I hear ya. But it’s the market. They have to do it to keep going. Interest rates are the biggest factor.
Great video. However I wish folks would stop saying "Full Self Driving, or Autopilot". There is no such thing as of yet. Right now cars that have automated systems are only (ADAS) DA2, and Moving to DA3. DA3 offers some hands free driving in certain approved area's, and Ford, Chevy, Mercedes and a few others are moving to DA3. There is no hands free driving on a production car, unless you cheat the on board systems, and then you are going to cause an accident.
Wow. Wining about pricing, leasing, two plugs. This is 100% non-value add.
Wow how did you go from being a Tesla fan to totally shitting on it? Especially since you knew all of these things before hand
I own 3 Teslas, I love Tesla. But problems need to be called out.
@@RobertRosenfeld1 I guess but man it just seemed rough. I have a 2019 Model 3 with FSD and I’ve had no problems. I watch your videos every time you post and I’m in the process of trading it in for a Y and now I’m not too sure
@@bluesuit3 Y is a fantastic vehicle and I LOVE my Teslas. But there are things Tesla is doing I don't agree with and I'd like to discuss ways things could be improved.
You can take advantage of FSD transfer now, which is great, but don't you think your FSD purchase should stay with you forever and not just when Tesla allows you?
@@RobertRosenfeld1 I do agree it should stay with you and not the car. One of the biggest reasons why I’m going to upgrade is the transfer opportunity if it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t. But I’m concerned about HW 4 and FSD. especially since I’m giving up my radar and parking sensors
@@RobertRosenfeld1 There's certainly a place for loving Teslas and awareness of their shortcomings. I really appreciate all your content!
Have you considered a 1998 Toyota Corolla? Maybe more your style.
If you went to any car dealer in the last decades, did you ever get the same deal prices? what are you complaining about ? you are free to buy any car. There may be rebates, dealer specials , etc. that affects the re-sale prices if discounts become widely applied as you would expect for any brands.
Did you consider the fact that as they mass produce and improve batteries, etc then they can afford to drop the car price. for example if their production costs go down 10% and they sell 20% more cars then they can afford to drop the prices by 11% and still make the same net profit as before. If they sold 50% more than they could drop the price by 16% and still make the same profit. They have no conrol over any tax incentives that may be available or that you may be eligible to receive. You are a grown up man to take responsibility for your financial decisions. This is the first car company that passes down to their customers the latests savings as their production goes up and costs go down. All the old mentality companies kept the same "MSRP" and pocketed any added gains. Hence the reason EVs never took off in the US and around the world for that matter. Everyone buying an EV is doing that hopefully based on facts beyond just related to the prices they are paying,. comparing to equally equiped and preformance cars from other brands they have been consistently cheaper. Soon they will afford to beat prices on even ICE from mass production companies. That will allow many more people to buy these modern EV cars and finally reduce the stinky fumes and air and noise polution we deal with daily. Look at it tis way. You are partnering with an innovative company model to accelerate the switchg to EV. If you want to recover some of your car price then consider buying their stock to benefit from future valuation, if it continues to rise, perhaps not as fast as in the past.
Luxury car brands have been known to drop as much as 50% in 4 years for many factors including expensive rotine maintenance requirements and gas guzzler status. on a Tesla your maintenance costs are expected to be substantially less on average due to only tire rotation being recommended each 10000 miles.
Elon made it clear Model Y Juniper will NOT be available until mid-late 2025. I have an Austin built Model Y Long Range which I received June 2023 Burbank California Service Center and I have 13K miles with NOT one issue. I have added many after market items to my Tesla to make my ownership very enjoyable.
Tesla had stated the new model Y will not be available in 2024.
Juniper won't be available until 2025 like you said, but also will not qualify for the ex tax credit and will cost more. Will follow the steps of the refreshed Model 3.
Sorry when exactly did Elon make it clear mid-late 2025?, I must’ve missed he said that
@@ktms1188 buying the new tesla innovation shares
at this point is a good investment and a no brainer as they are sure to yield dividends in the long run
@@ktms1188 Yes of course!

I am looking forward to saving gas! Thanks for your videos!
I just got my car few days ago and bought the monthly self drive, for $200 per month, however, after first drive Tesla said "we deactivated your self drive for a week" I called and ask why they said I drive badly, but it was snowing that morning and the car could not find the center of the road...I feel I paid to be punished!!!!! come on Tesla!
While you presented a number of valid issues, especially FSD, pricing variability is not unique to Tesla, nor is it unique to the automotive industry. I have found that with any emerging technology there is going to be, sometimes drastic, changes in implementation and usability. The Model Y is still the market leader in EV sales for good reason, and at the price point it is at today, a relative bargain compared to the alternative options available in the US market, especially with the $7,500 tax credit. Opening the Tesla Superchargers to other EV brands may seem as a poor marketing decision, but I believe that it is a good thing for all EV drivers in the long run as it will help to justify expanding the number of charging centers, especially in more remote areas. Where I see a very positive change taking place is the installment of 220v plugs in new condos going up to facilitate charging at home for condo owners, hopefully this will filter down to apartment complexes as well. While there are many challenges facing EV ownership, it is also amazing how far we have come in a few short years.
Model s and x would buy today if it was right hand drive.Love my model y with $7500 rebate which has now 31st December been canceled so will keep until change of government.
Do you also invest in tesla shares?
Despite watching many videos... I FAILED to understand REFERRAL codes needed to be 'used' via somebody's You-Tube channel! Silly me! Who would have thought in times of e-fraud... that you HAD to... AND THEN Tesla says: "Sorry NO too late!" Unhappy but love the car maybe not the rules... NEVER gonna get to MARs like this!
Tesla is denying that transfer of FSD to a 2024 Tesla will not cause you to lose smart summon & park assist. I specifically asked 4 different employees and they stated, “all of it will transfer right over”. 🤦🏽♂️
You say don’t buy a Tesla and you want to sell Tesla’s gear? Your opinion doesn’t make sense to me. I have a Tesla for 3 years and had zero issues on my Y. The best car I ever had. I suggest you go back to Gas and start selling exhaustion systems to make it louder😂.
Model 3 > Model Y anyway :P
Also any release date on Model 3 highland performance?
Agree🎉 Tesla needs to stop cutting costs and focus on only quality and innovation
