Yes it's a cork bark port. It had a section that rotted the center out but after cleaning it out, it healed up nicely around it. I actually love the scars. It gives the tree character.

I'd have to imagine you have zero variegated ones for a reason?
I noticed you have a little minima lilliput, those also come in variegated!
What is the soil composition you use.
