- The Little Fountain is written in an idiomatic style for the harp, featuring cascades of descending four note arpeggios. This piece can either be found Samuel O. Pratt's (1925 - 1985) beginning harp book "Danses pour la Dauphin" or it can be purchased as a solo piece. Pratt has also written a second harp part for it, so that it can be performed as a duet.

I think this is really helpful to me and people. Jesus is ready to bless your life. Have a blessed day 🙏
This is one of those pieces that are just above my current skill level that I am really looking forward to experiencing and yours is the Reference Version. Thanks so much for this wonderful rendition!
My pleasure! I'm glad you're looking forward to playing this beautiful piece!
Thank you for posting this! I'm currently learning this piece, and I listen to your version often! So lovely and expressive.
I'm so glad you're finding it helpful! I hope practicing is going well.
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
You really inspire me in playing harp. You're the best!
So glad to hear that! Thank you!
Oh my goodness. I love this! 💕💕💕🎶🎶🎶Lovely performance, Jacqueline! Thank you.
Thank you! This one uses all the same technique as La Source by Hasselmans (which I know you like), but it's a bit easier!
Jacqueline Pollauf Sneakily thinking, I was hoping you’d say that!😁
@@paigegarrison6721 That's so funny! I guess we are on the same page.
Love this piece
Thanks!
That is so beautiful
Thank you, John! Yes, I think this piece is exactly what people expect when they think of the harp.
Beautiful! Yours is the best expression of this piece that I’ve heard. Side note, I always get this piece confused with LaSource. Both are lovely and on my list of pieces to learn. ~ Lisa
Thank you so much Lisa! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. This piece is extremely similar to La Source, but a bit easier, so if you're planning to learn both, I would start with this one. Good luck!
Great advice! Thanks!
i guess Im pretty randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream newly released movies online ?
@Theo Felix Flixportal :D
@Mekhi Gary Thanks, signed up and it seems like a nice service :D I really appreciate it!!
Hi Jacqueline! It’s nice to have your videos online as references while I learn the pieces. Your music is so expressive! I’ve learnt Two Guitars and La Gimblette and watched your videos a lot. I also checked out others for entertainment. It made me more excited in learning the harp!
I’m now playing my Camac Isolde and am thinking of moving to a pedal harp, after I save up enough money, so I’ve also been looking at different models. Is the harp that your using a Salvi Daphne? It looks more like it than an Aurora?
Anyway again thank you posting those videos!
Thanks so much for reaching out! I'm really glad to hear that you're feeling so inspired in your harp playing and have learned some of the pieces that I play. In this video, I'm actually playing a Venus Diplomat. In many of my newer videos I'm playing a Lyon and Healy 30. Good luck with your plans for a pedal harp!
@@JacquelinePollauf I'm finally play this piece, it's so much fun!
But playing all the semiquavers evenly is so challenging!
What a beautiful piece. Can you help whit notes? I can't find available ones on the internet((
It looks like it's not being sold as an individual piece, but it is available in this book: www.harp.com/product/danses-pour-la-dauphine-lhs/
Hope this helps!
Hello! Too beautiful. Is this a Lyon and Healy harp?
Glad you like the piece! This harp is actually a Venus Diplomat.
@@JacquelinePollauf thanks so much for sharing ❤
@@MatrixDonna my pleasure!
where can i buy that harp
amazing video made we want to learn harp
please let me know thank you
It’s hard to tell for sure what model of harp it is without seeing the top and bottom of the column, but I’ve been poking around and think it might be a Venus Diplomat or similar? My next best guesses are Salvi Aurora or Daphne...
@@trainheist My guesses are Sali Daphne 47 Se/Ex or Lyon and Healy Style 100. I would say probably Salvi considering that it’s a semi grand and she now mainly uses a different harp, while the Style 100 with 47 strings would be a concert grand.
Based on the bottom of the column in this video: ua-cam.com/video/wNxGoCuKw0o/v-deo.html it’s for sure a Lyon and Healy Style 100. If you want to order one, you can go to Lyon and Healy’s website: lyonandhealy.com and contact them.
Is possible to have this recorded as in studio quality?
I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you looking to make a studio recording of this piece?
@@JacquelinePollauf hello :) yes . Would it be possible?
@@laksiwmthdb9947 I'm still a little confused. If you wish to go into a studio and make a recording of yourself playing this piece, then that wouldn't involve me in any way. I do not hold the copyright to the sheet music. You'd have to look into all of that yourself. Good luck!
