Peace Cave is a few minutes walk from there! I've been inside Peace Cave twice. There is also Jeep Cave, which is quite a long hike from there. Ive never been, but plan to go some day soon.

We hiked out there with my 3 year old grandson and spent several hours exploring and hunting for the other caves. By the time we left we had to take turns carrying him the mile hike out because he was so tired! Awesome place, awesome video!

I’ve been in these caves years ago. I actually crawled through that narrow hole. It was so narrow that I thought I would get stuck. What an experience. The kids loved it.
Caving is an amazing activity but should always be done with at least one other person along with others knowing exactly where you are going & when you plan to return as it can easily turn very dangerous, even fatal. Please always be safe! That said, I love "old Florida" & hope to see many more of your adventures exploring it!!

My first caving experience was in high school with my entire science class & a teacher passionate about exposing us to all the amazing aspects of our environment. He took us to a private cave not at all as accessible as this one that most of us would never have considered climbing down into. But he had a number of experienced adults with us & the trip really lit a fire for such experiences. Having other people along to share the wonders discovered also increased the enjoyment of it all. Having some experienced folks with you who can also share safety tips as you explore more caves in the future would be a meaningful journey investigating that hobby that Florida is such a great place for...certainly the spine of Florida...that many overlook entirely. Congratulations on your recent milestone on UA-cam!! You have many more ahead of you as your passion & enjoyment of the world around you is contagious! Thank you & have a great day yourself!

Tampa Jay Thanks Jay. It’s a terrible shame so many people have lost their homes and millions of animals have died. The fires are still burning in some parts and the smoke is everywhere. I have had to stay Indoors for the last 2 days because the air is so bad. It’s a little better today and luckily I don’t live near any of the fire zones. I’m just praying for those poor people that have lost everything. Nature can be so cruel sometimes.

That freaked me out when I was a kid, so I only spelunking I’m larger caves! You should never go in caves alone! I was in Tom Sawyer’s cave in Hannibal where bats flew inches above our heads! Nice job, buddy!

1:20: I was surprised that you didn't mention TMNT. When I was much younger, we (me, my brother, and a few friends) would enter into the city's drain tunnels and waddle along, crooked over, through the tunnels for miles. Looking back at it, I can't believe we never got lost (or at least we never got lost for too long). We were too small to lift the manhole covers, so we had no option other than retracing our steps. Don't try this at home! Thanks, Jay!

You are brave for going in those side holes. The first time I went I didn't think to bring a light and it was starting to get near dusk and rain too and my mind was playing tricks on me and was wondering what if there was some creature or hobo around the dark corners scared 😱 😂. I live about 20 min away so I should go back with friends, or better yet ALONE 😇 Stay well my bro and keep that healthy gratitude and keep fighting the good fight. One day at a time 🥹
As I recall, I read aThor’s book decades ago, Thor and his men crawled on their bellies for hours and hours( about 7 hours, I think) in a single file without being able to turn over or stand- up , until they reached a dead end, then had to retreat back , again in a single file on their stomachs, for hours upon edge! If one of the men ahead or behind youfrraked out, you would be trapped forever because no one had enough room to even touch that person!I had nightmares about being trapped in a cave for years ! I have been in a number of tourist attraction caves since, but they all allowed me to explore upright- no stomach crawling for me! Can you imagine crawling on your Belly for 14 hours without being able to stretch or stand up or even lift your head with the cave rock beinginched above your head? Iy’s like something Edgar Allen Poe would write about!
That cave reminds me so much like the cave on the planet Dagobah from The Empire Strikes back, but that cave was not your failure, it is symbolic of your ups and downs in life (Good thing you didn't have to confront a vision of a dark lord down there ha ha!) but those words you spoke at the end really touched my heart my good friend and congrats on your success so far in the YT world. btw: I hope you did not get too banged up when you slipped, had me worried for a second. Just curious is #1 the Suwannee river? Should be on the list if isn't, along with maybe at least one of the Ocala springs. One of the rare places that met &/or exceeded my expectations (then again I love dark big rivers with plenty of variety, history and mystery), can hardly wait to go back in a couple or few months even if the jumping sturgeon won't be back quite yet
Tampa Jay, I can completely relate to this video, well at least the things you said. I know what it's like to be in a dark place in your life. Just as it was for you, there are several you tubers including you and Cris the girl, that has inspired me to start vlogging on you tube. I have several already videoed and I am just needing time to edit them and get them up. I have three up right now. I also work and sometimes don't have the time to work on videos. I have my faith in God and continually trying to strengthen my relationship with him. But you guys, along with Adam the Woo and several others have helped me to come to the decision to start doing videos. We all need things in our lives to keep us busy and occupied as we get older to keep us in good health and good spirits. I am glad I watched this video here. It's ok to be mushy sometimes dude. LOL. I learned that the hard way. Anyway my friend, I am onboard with yall and I am always glad to see your vids because I know you always have much ahead. Thank you.

Thank you these are my favorite adventures to go on. I also like theme parks so I will be there for special events but these are the types of videos and format I’m gearing more towards in the future.
One time I went to the Dames cave, there was a group of people in the cavern to the left (Garfield room), they had candles going and they were witches. It was funny but irritating because I couldn’t go back in there 😂
The third cave, at about the 14-minute mark is Sick Bat cave. It's one of my favorite. The main opening is behind the boulder in the middle of the screen, it's tight at first but definitely opens up. Edit: That being said every time I go out there, there's water standing in the small hole in dames cave so I haven't been in there.
That hole u said u think u can go in u can it goes in them it goes up farther back then at top there's second small hole that's tighter fit but it goes into a big room it's pretty sweet

Looking back at it, I can't believe we never got lost (or at least we never got lost for too long). We were too small to lift the manhole covers, so we had no option other than retracing our steps. You are brave for going in those side holes. The first time I went I didn't think to bring a light and it was starting to get near dusk and rain too and my mind was playing tricks on me and was wondering what if there was some creature or hobo around the dark corners scared 😱 😂.

As I recall, I read aThor’s book decades ago, Thor and his men crawled on their bellies for hours and hours( about 7 hours, I think) in a single file without being able to turn over or stand- up , until they reached a dead end, then had to retreat back , again in a single file on their stomachs, for hours upon edge! If one of the men ahead or behind youfrraked out, you would be trapped forever because no one had enough room to even touch that person!I had nightmares about being trapped in a cave for years ! I have been in a number of tourist attraction caves since, but they all allowed me to explore upright- no stomach crawling for me! Can you imagine crawling on your

That cave reminds me so much like the cave on the planet Dagobah from The Empire Strikes back, but that cave was not your failure, it is symbolic of your ups and downs in life (Good thing you didn't have to confront a vision of a dark lord down there ha ha!) but those words you spoke at the end really touched my heart my good friend and congrats on your success so far in the YT world. btw: I hope you did not get too banged up when you slipped, had me worried for a second. Just curious is #1 the Suwannee river? Should be on the list if isn't, along with maybe at least one of the Ocala springs. One of the rare places that met &/or exceeded my expectations (then again I love dark big rivers with plenty of variety, history and mystery), can hardly wait to go back in a couple or few months even if the jumping sturgeon won't be back quite yet
Tampa Jay, I can completely relate to this video, well at least the things you said. I know what it's like to be in a dark place in your life. Just as it was for you, there are several you tubers including you and Cris the girl, that has inspired me to start vlogging on you tube. I have several already videoed and I am just needing time to edit them and get them up. I have three up right now. I also work and sometimes don't have the time to work on videos. I have my faith in God and continually trying to strengthen my relationship with him. But you guys, along with Adam the Woo and several others have helped me to come to the decision to start doing videos. We all need things in our lives to keep us busy and occupied as we get older to keep us in good health and good spirits. I am glad I watched this video here. It's ok to be mushy sometimes dude. LOL. Thank you these are my favorite adventures to go on. I also like theme parks so I will be there for special events but these are the types of videos and format I’m gearing more towards in the future.
One time I went to the Dames cave, there was a group of people in the cavern to the left (Garfield room), they had candles going and they were witches. It was funny but irritating because I couldn’t go back in there 😂

The third cave, at about the 14-minute mark is Sick Bat cave. It's one of my favorite. The main opening is behind the boulder in the middle of the screen, it's tight at first but definitely opens up.
Edit: That being said every time I go out there, there's water standing in the small hole in dames cave so I haven't been in there.
