Retired SoCal cop here. Physical fitness isn't nearly stressed enough on gun channels. My fitness level kept me alive on the streets of the greater Los Angeles area. It wasn't the latest gadget.
Gabe is 100% correct. Absent fitness, when things go wrong, your confidence to engage an adversary can only be minimal. A fit man confronted with a adversary will have the confidence to engage with what will be deadly force, even without a firearm.
Gabriel, the audio is poor...But audible. In regards to the topic at hand, 100% in agreement. Being fit let you at the very least run away of the situation, at best you can fight off an assailant. Put the uniform back on a year ago. It’s funny, I worked at it until I went to the academy (again) and was competing with kids half my age or less and holding my own, because I am still in shape. Off to the gym as I type.
@@suareztactics thanks. I want to carry AIWB (CZ P10c and P10s). I'm about 6'2", about 215lbs, flatbed truck driver. I currently carry at between 3:00 and 4:00. I want to do AIWB, but what I've tried has been very uncomfortable while sitting/driving. I'm thinking that JM holster might work with the way it's designed with minimal kydex.

Your fitness is your first line of defense and while not easy is the most rewarding aspect of self preservation
