Having owned both radios, the 7300 is somewhat easier to use.......and that's where the competition ends. The FTDX10 is a better radio in pretty much every regard, and it should be. It's half a decade newer, and several hundred dollars more expensive. The 7300 is a great beginner rig. The FTDX10 is just a great radio period. Yeah, the buttons are a little crowded, but I can live with that for a receiver that is as good as the Yaesu is.
Can’t go wrong with either- the Icom 7300 is a venerable rig, no doubt about it, but that DX10 receiver sensitivity is unmatched in its class. I won’t poo poo either.
Yes...wearing an Icom shirt. I am sure this is not a biased review ! Yeh......Right. I think you forgot to mention that the IC7300 always overloads in a crowed strong signal condition. OOPS.......you forgot that.
Definatelly getting the FTDX-10!
thanks for your comment!

We have 7300 radios in our club's Ecomm Trailer and I have the FTdx10 at Home. I much prefer my FTdx10.

The 7300 is a game changer, but the FTDX-10 then changed the game.
Ease of use, the 7300 which sounds better, FTDX10!

Can't you get anything without annoying touchscreens and endless menus? How about an actual meter?
