I experience going into this place when engaging in menial tasks, like bathing, doing dishes, gardening....as well as meditating

Yet it's the only role each of us have been allocated in this scene, all other roles are already filled by someone else. Personally I'd like to find more peace and happiness with my mind but ultimately I'm extremely happy with and very grateful for the part I've been given to play and I genuinely wouldn't swap roles with anyone else anywhere, not because I'm a hero, superstar or anything like that but because I am truly grateful to be me and have my wonderful experience with all those I am so very fortunate to share it with 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I loved it how Eckhart describes the little moments of freedom from thinking as, Delicious. Thank you for guiding me towards these delicious moments, and enlightening me on this.

Your soulmates bring you into presence without need to talk about concepts of presence. Emotional experience first, mental concept second ❤

I love yoga, mountain biking and snowboarding because it forces me to stay in the present. My challenge is when I’m not doing those activities. 😂

As I walk and gaze down the leaf laden path, I must concentrate to keep my footing. This moment of self awareness opens the path as an immersion of earth and sky unfolds. My senses are heightened as the present drifts away replaced by a new feeling of awe. Try it as the peace is palpable.

the "it's not worth the investment of the suffering " acceptance and awakening. "you can't add days to your life with negative thinking or feeling". "I release and let it go."

It’s true that that’s not who we are, but was how we were taught to be. It’s extremely difficult. It’s like an addiction to alcohol for many many many years in my case to switch off the ego. And reprogram you’re thinking and your way of being which is the way it should’ve been from the beginning, but there was too much traffic in the way of teachers and religion and parents and someone so now as I’m older, I have more freedom to let all those things go and start essentially from scratch, but it doesn’t feel that way it feels like I’m just coming back to my genuine self.

I recently found out how long the present moment is: It lasts exactly 23 Trillionth of a second. Then it a new frame of time comes in. Life is just a series of photographs, a small slice of life. So the mind can only comprehend the presents in the past. A bit ironic. The closest we can get to the present is to pause the monkey mind long enough to feel our "I am."

The mind can comprehend it in the past, but you can experience it fully in the now. So who cares if the mind can't experience or comprehend it, y'know?

The speed of mind is probably the closest thing we can ever experience to the speed of light, hence we can never out think or outwit our minds as it will always be way ahead of us. The answer is either not to get involved with the mind or not take it any of its thoughts, ideas, opinions and beliefs seriously 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I think of my mind as a radio station, I can not choose which songs are played by the station any more than I can choose which thoughts I get from my mind but I can always change stations if I'm not enjoying the songs the station is playing at the time or ultimately switch off the radio for a while if can't tune into an enjoyable station at that time. But I personally wouldn't want to total radio silence or lose my imagination completely any more than I'd choose to get rid of music completely. To each their own but being to use my mind for fun and entertainment is something I enjoy, I'm just not keen on it using me any more than I'm keen on listening to opera or Beethoven🙏🙏🙏🙏

Let me break this down as I see it, logically.
Quote; " you live in the upper part of the building of your body". Now that is impossible because your physical brain cannot and did not Form a physical body and a physical body cannot and did not Form a physical brain, therefore the whole physical body and brain are one and cannot be living seperate for a body to live under, quote; " a roof" due to the fact that all your sensors are attached to all parts of your body for the purpose of transmitting physical technical failure to the physical brain so that the brain can send a message to your FORMED source for a resolution answer.
That means that you can never be " Freedom from self", or quote; " Freedom from the self". If you look at what the video heading says ie " Freedom from THE self" ie "THE" self. Now the so called teacher does not explain what that " THE" self is except for saying there is a " THE" self and that is because the so called teacher does not have clue what THE self is nor how it derived. Because if he did know what " THE" self is, he would also know that " THE" self couldn't care less about any spiritual spirituality, let alone even knowing what a spiritually is which is not required by " THE" self anyway, because " THE " self is all knowing.
After all, how do you think your lineage has come thus far through all it's up and downs and all along never freeing itself from your physical Being.
There is no such thing as Universal Consciousness because the universe is random a random means " done without conscious decision". The so called teacher thinks that the reaction by elements fusing must be have been from consciousness. Like his ocean analogy , he would think something consciously dropped a drop of water into the ocean and therefore the ripple is a conscious one. Talk about mumbo jumbo. But to back all that up and justify whats being said, what better than to name drop Jesus.
The only thing good about Buddha is that Buddha is better than Margarine.
