I was always a little wigged out by the various "distress signals" throughout the commonwealth. They're always looped recordings of people in desperate situations, but when you get to wherever they are, all you find are skeletons.
Actually , Rory /did/ succeed in taming the mirelurks. Fun fact is : when raiders attacked him , the mirelurks defended their 'mother' and killed the raiders. Sadly , mirelurks eat flesh. Raiders flesh tasted good. Turns out , Rory's flesh should taste nice too.
I mean, did he though? The mirelurks may have just been defending their territory. Also given how long Rory was there, he may have "smelled" like one of them, or a close approximation anyway. However moving through the water if the nest site may have washed him, leading to the mirelurks smelling human as opposed to mirelurk.
I love the macabre sense of humor of the raiders. Anyone else notice all of the times they prop up teddy bears with newspapers, or dress them up in army hats or make them look like they're driving the bus or whatever?
Oxhorn actually made a video for the fens street sewer location, where he makes pretty good arguments for why the last skeleton found with a hammer in their skull is the detective, and the ghoul is actually the serial killer. And the hallucinogen part reminds me somewhat of sheogorath's realm with that particular quest where you chose what happened to a group of adventurers in the expansion
Museum of Witchcraft fuck that place is creepy you step into the basement, hear thumping upstairs, see a body get dragged out of a hole, mannequins, a creepy ritual murder in the attic (which you have to cheat to get into) dead gunners and the savage deathclaw that you fight in a closed space
oh thank god somebody else found those sewers, nobody i know personally has found it and i was beginning to wonder if i just had a copy haunted by a boston serial killer
I know the name "Museum of Witchcraft" kinda tells you straight off the bat that it's gonna be rather freaky but honestly it still turned out creepier than expected.
D.B. Technical High School. Where 1: the daily announcements are still playing, 2. Features the freaky backstory of "The Beast," the raider leader who contracted rabies and convinced his gang there was a monster in the basement which turned out to be himself, and 3. The amazing reward of the mascot bear head.
+Karl Jaanus Karin Jackass once assigned himself the bed in the house where the workbench is. If I'm putting shit away or building, he comes up "Hey, I got another settlement that needs help." GTFOH, Garvey.
Man, it's jus really disappointing finding all of these named dead people at these places, I feel like they could have had interesting quests and characters there to break up the monotony of "go there, kill/get this, come back" that Fallout 4 is filled with.
I found the crashed plane in the Glowing Sea creepy cause of the holotape where you hear them talking casually before crying out at a bright light and it goes dead. There's a static distress signal as well.
There is a place near one of the hospitals where there are Arrows pointing you toward the door. N the arrows contiue to lead u deeper n deeper. I pussied out n stopped tho.
+Andrew Collier I believe so, I didn't finish going down the path enough to find out, I had to much stuff n I lost my companion so I wasn't taking chances.
Walking from Concord to Lexington on your way to Diamond City, you may run into a train yard full of feral ghouls. This is all fine and dandy (boy apples)... until you discover the torturous murder den beneath the control tower, for which no explanation is provided.
Honestly, Swan Lake kinda scared me the first time I went. I had no clue about the Swan and when he emerged from the pond I was like: "well....fuck." Luckily I found a legendary shotgun called Wounding Combat Shotgun so it only took about 5 hits to kill him. Still was pretty tense though.
I actually DO look forward to the inevitable Zeta DLC. I LOVED it in Fallout 3, and can only see one in this game being even more epic, and having another chance to see a new Starship Crew mod even I hope. I can only imagine how awesome that would be with the settlement system
What about the place (can't remember what it's called, sorry) where you either have the choice to kill the dad or the entire family? The mansion that looks like it was created before the bombs fell
I wouldn't mind a video on minor unmarked locations in Fallout 4 (the locations can't have a fast-travel/location map marker or be directly related to a quest). Some of these locations have interesting stories to find like the bank in Lexington, which was seemingly robbed on the day the bombs fell. The bank lobby is has virtually no loot and the terminal to the vault door is unlocked. Opening the door reveals that the back wall was blown out and the robbers died while loading their haul into their nearby getaway car. Is worth visiting as a source of pre-war cash, both the loose cash left in the vault and on the floor near the car and the cash in a duffel bag outside by the blown out wall.Pre-war cash is weightless and still worth money, making it a good, consequence-free way to earn caps. Even if it really shouldn't.Similarly, there's an unmarked bank near Diamond City that's a good place to farm Gold bars or making Payday/Fallout crossover videos.
The UFO Crash gave Nick one of the best lines ever. If you manage to see it go screaming past you when you have Nick with you, he says "Good God, you catch the plates on that one?!"
I remember I wandered around a random grassy hill for awhile and found an old retirement home. It wasn't creepy, just kind of sad. Like, skeletons were still in wheelchairs and beds and stuff. Probably haunted. I don't remember where it is though
Really?! STILL no Death Maze?! Come on, its the weirdest place I've found: An unmarked location in a parking garage (Outside Fallon's Department store) that has been converted into a SAW-esque death maze by some unknown person or group. It's even creepier because, unlike just about every other place in the entire game, there is no explanation whatsoever for any of it.
+Eric Vaughn-Matthews yup that thing is messed up! so I am tying to find out if it's possible to get both doors open or are just allowed to open one? I reset my save 3 times!
Chuck Hendersen you could easily go from the fallons department store stairs! They connect to the parking lot and that's how i got it then later found out that in that same parking lot was a Saw movie maze type from a youtuber
+Marcus Walters You have to see a UFO crash in the sky first, otherwise you will not find the Alien. Just continue playing the game and one day a UFO will crash.
I know over a month has passed, but I miss those OxBox Christmas challenges. You should bring back some competitive things like your GTA heists, far cry challenges, or even (especially) scavenger hunts! Also it was weird to hear Andy say 'pissed' in this video and not mean drunk.
You didn't mention my favorite! The parking garage that some psyco turned into a maze with traps, Christmas trees, unnecessary piles of explosive corpses and ghouls
Aw, I found those sewers pretty early, but I assumed it was a quest I would be coming back with Nick for. That's disappointing that it's just a bit of flavor and not an actual killer Nick and I get to chase around the wasteland. :-/
only now I realise how many subtle sub-stories I have missed whilst running around the wasteland. completed all the areas completely ignorantly and now I feel like I've missed out.
The sub story of Red and Lily Tourette is really strange. Red is a leader of a raider gang who's sister gets kidnapped by another raider gang. The wiki doesnt mention it, but the rival gang accidentally kills Lily and hides the body in their soup vat, and eat her. I think this happens at Beantown Brewery. Here's Red's wiki: fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Red_Tourette
Could you imagine how creeped out you would have to be? You're a private investigator and you have lived your entire existence nearly 2 centuries after a time when everyone lived like kings. Only to come down here to find that a pre-war detective has met his end in such a vicious fashion. It would make you question what the world was actually like before the war
Hugo's Hole was a nice accessory to the Dunwich Borers, I'd say it's at least worth an honorable mention. Cambridge Polymer Labs is a bit eerie as well... Bunch of scientists held prisoner in an irradiated laboratory. Somebody else mentioned it earlier, but the Sentinel Site in the Glowing Sea is pretty eerie. And, like ANOTHER person mentioned, the Norwegian Star. Apparently if you translate the ghouls' shouting into English it's actually really depressing
Grey Garden? You know the garden run by robots. Or how about The Slog, that farm in a swimming pool that's run entirely by Ghouls (and that includes one that hits on you and another that ask you to go get parts for a giddyup buttercup toy?
And just when I thought I'd exhausted everything there is to do in the game, actually other than the fens street sewer and the dig site from the first video I've done or heard of most of these missions (just forgot to get around to doing them)
what about the little shack I found that has four radios on the roof, skulls on the shelves, and a freaky skull painted on the tv? spooked the hell out of me.
"Nope. Probably not doing another video like this. Sorry about that." but...but... those scenes with the teddy bears doing creepy things like performing teddy surgery and watching 3 on 1 cage fights to the death.
In the first one about the murderer and the detective, Andy (sorry if I got the name wrong) says something about Nick being the detective the guy was waiting for. And remember, most synths have the memories of someone from before the war, so that means Nick is probably the detective that the murderer was waiting for. It's a crazy theory, I know, but what if it's true?
i think in this one hotel, (forgot the name) on the highest level, if you unlock a door, you enter a room with a skeleton sitting on a chair and in front of him are jangles the moon monkey, a floating teddy bear with a floating rattle (?) and a giddy up buttercup in a bowler hat. also i think jangles had a hat too.
you still haven't covered Town Hall. if you go to town hall you'll notice the door is walled off but you can still go into it by walking against the wall and pressing the button assigned to open doors. you will be teleported into the main lobby which is filled with a gruesome scene check it out
What about the island close to the Castle? I forgot the islands name but you do a quest that has to do with turning on a radio. It's kinda more of a weird quest than location but the out come is really cool
with the fens street sewer, at the end, there is a little alcove you can jump to that was 2 more bodies, one of which is holding a knife. it probably the killer and the detective. basically, the killer killed the detective, then himself.
There was a distress signal somewhere that had a woman in a panicked state talking about how her and her toddler child were being chased by a monster and eventually took shelter in a tipped train car. She then begins to scream that it had found them and she old the child to get out and run. The message ends and repeats until you turn off the HAM radio. You can find the car and enter it only to find a pool of blood, a skeleton of a woman, and a collection of children's toys.
I'd disagree with the crash site just because its become such a common thing now and the Hallucigen Inc because they missed a perfect opportunity to make you trip balls like the one vault in Fallout 3. I was really hoping for some sort of thing along those lines. Either seeing your spouse again or seeing some sort of giant deathclaw that charges you and vanishes.
4:53 It's also the name of this respiratory infection I got back in grade school when I woke up unable to breathe without it sounding like I inhaled a broken lightbulb. Awful.
There's no lore behind it, and it's just a random little place, but on a boat/make-shift barge slightly south-east of Spectacle Island is a floating graveyard. It has no living people, around 4-5 wooden coffins with skeletons in them. It was just a bit unsettling to come across.
I was always weirded out by an unmarked pub you can enter in Concord. The upstairs has a skeleton in a bathtub in the fetal position surrounded by Mannequins holding knives.
lol, I didn't encounter a deathclaw in the Boston Mayoral Shelter but that scribe and I got attacked by an army of synths when we went on the mission to there.
Actually, it's not. It's a completely different thing. Because I came to the Fens Street Sewers AFTER doing Nick's sidequest. It has nothing to do with him.
Strongblade 69 Yeah he gave me that conversation a few days ago it was great and weird, let's hope there's a Fens Phantom DLC We can learn the backstory of who he was and where he came from
I'm too much of a wimp to go discover and explore some of these creepy places so thanks for the videos about them. I can watch them in the safety of OXbox because there are totally no Deathclaws, Feral Ghouls, or Mirelurks here, right, guys? Guys?
(I don't know if this is a hint or not for a DLC) But when you kill the Alien and leave the cave then come back a few days later if you go by the radio were he was you can hear another Aliens talking on the radio. Haven't seen anyone yet to show more about the Alien instead just about the Alien Blaster.
So I started a new game, and after saving Preston I went into a place near the museum called Concord Speakeasy, I went into it, explored a little and found three mannequins with melee weapons around a bathtub with a dead body in it
I don't know the exact name of the place because I never played Fallout 4, but there is a town that is completely empty. No bodies, ghouls, synths, robots, raiders... anything. NPCs have dialoge about the place being freaky. Curie will ask where everyone went. There is no blood or any sign that anyone was ever there.
I was always a little wigged out by the various "distress signals" throughout the commonwealth. They're always looped recordings of people in desperate situations, but when you get to wherever they are, all you find are skeletons.
Nothing can stop Uranium Fever turning these into fun for all the family.

Oh you wish.
You're like WatchMojo.Com, but like with a soul and a beating heart
that is incredibly accurate. *modest clap*
Connor R. Born *wholesome clap*
Connor R. Born and less pushing to like and subscribe
A less annoying voice as well
The pyramid in the glowing sea holding real nukes with synths everywhere, not on this list, man that sucks
I got to find that!
Depending on when you visit it can be full of ghouls instead of synths
+The 52nd Timelord WHERE IS THIS?
+megasonicgeo It's called Sentinel Site. It's part of the BoS Quest Line
+The 52nd Timelord I wish there were synths when I went. Just bastard ghouls and mole rats rading me up.
Pipe revolver?
what are you? a peasant?
118 damage, mate :p
+outsidexbox jesus christ
+outsidexbox i could really use your help
+outsidexbox that's not bad but my pipe has 3k crit .

dead gunners
and the savage deathclaw that you fight in a closed space
Heedfulconch3 All I did was use my best gun and crouch and go back and forth between that hole in the wall. Killed it in seconds.
And the deathclaw rips apart the dead bodies and chunk drop into the basement
what about the ship where the ghouls talk norwigean? ms northern star i think
+Backup Tripod It's raiders not ghouls
+Backup Tripod That's a reference to the Discover Channel show "Deadliest Catch" and also has the agility bobblehead.
+Lucas They are ghoul raiders...
Martin Šriber They are? That is cool, can't remember them as ghouls though
+Lucas
The raiders are ghouls, just not feral.
oh thank god somebody else found those sewers, nobody i know personally has found it and i was beginning to wonder if i just had a copy haunted by a boston serial killer
I was kinda dissapointed to not find anything interesting at the end of that sewer...
I know the name "Museum of Witchcraft" kinda tells you straight off the bat that it's gonna be rather freaky but honestly it still turned out creepier than expected.

That's alot of games these days
"Go to the place and kill a thing"
S'why I make time for harvest moon n' the like.
Hold on, you'll bleep out the word shit but not the word dick?
WHERES THE LOGIC???
+Ostfront “Ace” 00 In their asses, so they've probably sh*t it out.
+Ostfront “Ace” 00 Its short for Richard
Dick is for some reason also a name, it would Sound pretty dumb beeping out someones name
left4let What if my name is Frederic McHalf Life Three, but it's pronounced like a beeping noise?
+Ostfront “Ace” 00 If would offend Nick Valentine if you bleep out that word.
Pffff Aliens don't text, they use spacebook!
Lachlan Bold lel
I found the crashed plane in the Glowing Sea creepy cause of the holotape where you hear them talking casually before crying out at a bright light and it goes dead. There's a static distress signal as well.
The Mayor looks like he's dabbing in the bath
Oh god no
Good eye, but you made alot of enemies
That's exactly why his dead
I remember finding a skeleton hidden behind a brick wall once in some building. It was deeeefinitely pre-war.
There is a place near one of the hospitals where there are Arrows pointing you toward the door. N the arrows contiue to lead u deeper n deeper. I pussied out n stopped tho.
+theamazingmaymay123 Was it the parking garage death maze?
+Andrew Collier I believe so, I didn't finish going down the path enough to find out, I had to much stuff n I lost my companion so I wasn't taking chances.
+theamazingmaymay123 Fair enough. They mentioned it in the other video.
+Andrew Collier oooh okey, I don't remember watching that one. Thank you.
+theamazingmaymay123 No problem
I think you'd be right about the Fenway Killer. It sounds like the kind of case Nick would've been assigned after Operation Winter was abandoned
the UFO crash sight isn't creepy
+Red Beanbag Well, seeing as the keyword in the title of the video is "freaky", I don't think this list was supposed to be creepy
+Firefly Rain Rekt.
+Firefly Rain lol
When I saw the UFO crash site I thought me when I came to earth.
UFO isn't scary at all, unless you have a Phobia of fucking Green Aliens in a Cave.
Walking from Concord to Lexington on your way to Diamond City, you may run into a train yard full of feral ghouls. This is all fine and dandy (boy apples)... until you discover the torturous murder den beneath the control tower, for which no explanation is provided.

Thanks for the mention in the Video. You guys are headed towards 1.5 Mil already. Awesome work.. :D
The alien one is very appropriate seeing as Xcom 2 is coming out this week.
Too bad it's only on PC **runs off crying**
I was so bummed when I discovered that man 😭
+Just Jamie umm are Bethesda the devs of xcom
No Firaxis make Xcom.
That's what I thought
+WhammyTime91 same. i watched someone play some. it looks damn good
I always love the humor and clever editing you guys have.
2:50 he died dabbing. Respect
2:47 he hit the dab as he died. Absolute legend. Also Shirts v Synths got me.
go to Oberland station, follow the tracks south to a tower right after a train wreck, go into the basement of the tower
Controlled Insanity I know I’m late but what’s in the basement?
Controlled Insanity oh... I found it
It’s not freaky though, just a dead settler with a poster saying “Trick or treat”, also a machete and a hammer around
The pre-war cerial killer reminds me of that LA Noir mission where the murderer has you running around LA leaving cryptic notes
*serial killer.
Who has discovered all the locations of the game and know where all of these are and know what all ready happened
I actually DO look forward to the inevitable Zeta DLC. I LOVED it in Fallout 3, and can only see one in this game being even more epic, and having another chance to see a new Starship Crew mod even I hope.

Oisin Carroll that was on the non commenter version I think
I lost it at "Goddammit Nick." xD
you guys are great, I know I'm going to enjoy this channel
I really wanna buy this game, but I have a feeling it would lead to loss of income, time, and family connectivity.
You don't play Bethesda games, you move into them and live there
The UFO Crash gave Nick one of the best lines ever. If you manage to see it go screaming past you when you have Nick with you, he says "Good God, you catch the plates on that one?!"
oh my god, I got that in-game and I nearly died
what about the guy building a mininuke in his basement to throw at the electric tower?
I remember I wandered around a random grassy hill for awhile and found an old retirement home. It wasn't creepy, just kind of sad. Like, skeletons were still in wheelchairs and beds and stuff. Probably haunted. I don't remember where it is though

I love this channel so much I just spend nights watching their videos
Anyone else see the skeleton move at 0:54 ...Fallout 5 confirmed?
I think Nick kicked it.
The museum of spades from Nuka world and also the mystery mansion with the jumpscare
I can't find the crash site I can find the cave but no alien
the lack of zetan dlc is disturbing
are you level 20? need to be past level 20
it has to crash first and the trees will be on fire when you find it
+Ranjomomma lvl17 thanx that really helped
No problem. After you hit level 20 check out the site. If its still not there, just wait a while
+Marcus Walters You have to see a UFO crash in the sky first, otherwise you will not find the Alien. Just continue playing the game and one day a UFO will crash.

The mine shaft where you have all the flashbacks and find Kremvh's tooth in the pit of radioactive water. That shit was top tier creepy.
only now I realise how many subtle sub-stories I have missed whilst running around the wasteland. completed all the areas completely ignorantly and now I feel like I've missed out.
There's a another settlement in need of our help, I'll mark it on your map.

Great Video! Keep up the good work.
Is it me or does being on the random ships out on the ocean in Fallout 4 feel really creepy
Normally I don't really care if you revisit the commenter's suggestions for the next videos but I felt very strongly about these, THANK YOU!!!!

Ok. Now we need a countdown of expansion mods like The Unstoppables mod or the Bethesda Comics mod. Those are too cool and well done to ignore
These two videos proving I experienced everything in Fallout4
I'm prepared for 76
Hehe "Who ever losses in basketball haves to fight the deathclaw" Made me smile. :)
I was always weirded out by an unmarked pub you can enter in Concord. The upstairs has a skeleton in a bathtub in the fetal position surrounded by Mannequins holding knives.
I can’t believe the museum of witchcraft wasn’t on either of these, that shit spooked me! :’)
lol, I didn't encounter a deathclaw in the Boston Mayoral Shelter but that scribe and I got attacked by an army of synths when we went on the mission to there.
Croup Manor is a refference to Lovecraft's book "The Lurking Fear".It's a nice book, give it a read.
Fens Street Sewer is part of the Nick Valentine backstory quest. The detective being referenced is Nick.
Actually, it's not. It's a completely different thing.
Because I came to the Fens Street Sewers AFTER doing Nick's sidequest. It has nothing to do with him.
Well then, I sit corrected :) I could have sworn it was.
+Strongblade 69 It's pre-war
+TheGoldenEagleEye But if you learn about Nick's back-story, his synth personality and memories are as well. Hence my confusion.
Strongblade 69 Yeah he gave me that conversation a few days ago it was great and weird, let's hope there's a Fens Phantom DLC We can learn the backstory of who he was and where he came from
Commenter edition? SHITZ GETTIN REAL!
I'm too much of a wimp to go discover and explore some of these creepy places so thanks for the videos about them. I can watch them in the safety of OXbox because there are totally no Deathclaws, Feral Ghouls, or Mirelurks here, right, guys? Guys?
(I don't know if this is a hint or not for a DLC)
But when you kill the Alien and leave the cave then come back a few days later if you go by the radio were he was you can hear another Aliens talking on the radio. Haven't seen anyone yet to show more about the Alien instead just about the Alien Blaster.
Seriously, though. Croup Manor is a swanky place if you have the... console commands... to clean it up and restore the facades.
"keep that in mind with the inevitable Zeta DLC guys" *Laughts hysterically then Cries Horrifically*
Is the mirelurk trainer a play on the Grizzly Man? Even has the same letter first and last name thing going on.
