Hello!what a surprice!Greetings from Poland Warsaw Chopin's town!
I think you didn't see the 2nd lecture in Polish about the Polonaise-Fantasy? Am I right?
@@gregniemczuk yes You're right.Someone disturb me second time.I will listen it tomorrow to the end.GreetingsE
Very helpfull thankyou
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🙏
The 'cheat' in bar 27 is the way I always do it. I've seen some great pianists not pull this off consistently and I always wondered why they didn't take the lower note in the left hand as it's already in place.
Thanks great tutorial.
The content in this video is what I'm looking for in years! This is really helpful. I'm tempted to book an online lesson with you Greg once I conquer the whole piece. I'll need at least a few months to practise this in the right way. Cheers!
Of course! Just write me an email when you're ready!
Wonderful to hear that!!! I'm going to publish more such videos about various pieces!!
Thanks!
@gregniemczuk_official Ok, thanks Greg! Looking forward to your new videos and the online lesson. But for the meantime there're awesome videos on your channel for me to delve in already. 👍✨
This is an extremely interesting lecture - thank You very much! 🌹
Greg hello from another piano teacher - your tutorial is very nice, I see you really speak directly to essential points of the piece with no eloquent and useless common expressions, as it is so popular in teacher's show here in UA-cam. well done
Dziękuję i z całego serca zachęcam do wyjaśniania całego utworu nawet w najprostszych kwestiach.
Thank you for this amazing tutorial. I love the analysis video too.
Thanks!
Many useful tips, thanks!
Yesss! the words I hoped you would say. "Don't play them [the octaves] too fast". The Chopin Competition has become a race for who can play them quickest. The great Rubinstein plays them quickly, yes, but not too quickly; and he adds a gentle and very effective accelerando.
Yes!
Thanks very much for yet another great video ! This helps me very much in my piano practice - and in the deeper understanding of these works !
My pleasure!
Really helpfull.
Great! Start to play it and you answer my questions. Wonderful! 😊
Yey!!!
Brilliant teaching Maestro. Really appreciate you're generous efforts, you are like the piano teacher I never had!
Thank you very much!
EXCELENTE¡¡¡ Gracias¡
Fantastic! More like this would be be great! How about all the Etudes?!
Thanks!!! If you say so, I'll try!
Thanks so much!!!!🎹🎹🎹🎵🎵🎵
Thanks you for the video! Wonderful and informative. Looking forward to watching this series of videos.

I love this one!
Beste Erklärung der schwierigen Stellen. Vielen Dank!!
Danke schön!
Really helpful!!!!
Thanks great tutorial.
I want to learn this piece as my second ever real piano piece. I used to play the violin when I was younger but stopped a few years ago when I was 12 and now just got into playing the piano. I hope to be able to play this piece well by the end of this year! Dziękuję pan za tipów 😄😄
Good luck!!
@@gregniemczuk Thank you!
did you manage to do it?
@@annazully2680 Nope, took up the bass and began practicing violin again, instead. Hahaha
@@minjosof fair >< this piece is really difficult! i also wanted to learn it but ended up getting a new bow for my 14 yr old violin that i had not played in forever lmfao
Fantastic content. What edition are you playing from?
Thanks! Jan Ekier National Edition!
Very insightful! Learned some new ways to practice (such as playing only upper/lower voice), and the emphasis of relaxation is helpful too!
Yeey!! Hope it will help!
Greg, great video. What is fingering for the left hand - lower tones in fast octaves part bar 83 and on? do you use onli little finger or rotate with 4th and 3rd?
I'm using only the 5th finger, with one fix position and the hand and I'm using the whole hand movement.
Thank you for doing these tutorials. I'm just starting to work on this piece, and one part you didn't address that would help me is the fingering for the four sixteenth notes first seen in bar 3. I'm thinking it's one, two, four, five, but I'd like to make sure. My left hand is weaker than most from an old injury, so I don't want to practice what might be incorrect. Thanks!
Hi! Should be 1245 but you can try other fingers as well. For example 2145, or 2134. Every hand is different. Try all!
Thanks for this tutorial. I apprecite it. Very helpful.
You are a great pianist and a nice person!
Thank you Teo! I'm happy of it's useful. Very personal and sincere. Good luck!
Mój ulubiony utwor chopina... Naprawdę świetnie pan to wszystko tłumaczy, pozdrawiam serdecznie :)
The technical contribution to play this wonderful work, so famous, is very important, if I can add or complement the information you show, in the introduction the thirds use the rotation of the wrist, in the large chords of the left hand play 2 notes ( finger 5 and 3, 2), improve the opening of fingers 4 and 5 for the ornaments using the help of the other hand with loosening, take into account the rebound of the hand always ..... hopefully it can be understandable, since I'm using Google translator, I have very small hands and I managed to play it in concert without any difficulty. Greetings from Bolivia.
Its execution is impressive. the observations are for those who want to learn to play this work.
Muchas gracias por tu comentario!
@@gregniemczuk an honor, you are a great pianist, I see you and I think that you get to have a very strong harmony with Chopin.
Czesc Grzegorz,
Super video! Niemoge oderqac oczu, super technika!
Pozdrawiam serdecznie
@@gregniemczuk dziekuje za tip! Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
