1000% (🤣🤣🤣). Yes!!! It shpuld be started in Gr 7-8 in Can and then applied in secondary school but run and taught all year every yesr using real money, show growth etc
Great content and thank you so much, because I'm still learning. Only in my late 40s did I realise my inability to handle my money well was a lack of skill, knowledge and attention, not a personality flaw. I was never taught personal finance and my parents took away my pocket money to buy things for me in my teenage years when it turned out I "obviously didn't know how to deal with money". Instead of teaching me!!! No 59, I'm still learning but am so much better off since that realisation, and educating and re-training myself. And your awesome videos are part of this.
Greetings from Canada. Please do a food choice and planning video! That is an area most can ma,e real savings. Keep up the wonderful videos. Best, Mark
Would absolutely love it if you could do a video about your travel budgets!! I'm preparing to backpack around Europe this summer and I would love to know what your travel budget looks like :))
Love it! So happy to hear that you're going strong 💪 congratulations 🎉 I'm thinking of a 4 months video on the no-buy challenge! So probably at the end of April there's a video about it 🙏 I have an highlight with updates on my Instagram account if that interests you ☺️ Stay tuned 🥰
I agree with all but one thing and would like to add one. Pay yourself first. No matter what bill is due stick to azset savings amount to “pay yourself”. Automatic bill payments is great until something goes wrong, too much comes out or you need to recover those fees. But please do consider using a credit card w rewards or cash back plans. This can go a long way and create new earnings too, instead of using cash. THEN use your cash to pay that bill off. Just some ideas. 😬. LOVE your breakdown snd plan though. Love it. Hope to live it.
I am the opposite with the cash vs card purchases. If I pay with cash I tend to "forget" that the money existed. On the contrary, when I pay with card and see it on the bank extract it makes me more self conscious. The first year I worked, I kept a small notebook to record every expense - even 10cent coffees at my work's automatic machine. It replicated the same self conscious feeling and made me think twice. Now that I don't keep one, I find myself thinking less when I spend cash (mas com Mbway fica cada vez mais fácil não andar com dinheiro físico 😅)
Internet is sufficient--no cable or any costly movie subscriptions(solution may be a Roku) or costly cell phone bill that no-one needs--I pay yearly 9.58$C a month unlimited minutes+2gigs a month. Making own dog food/snacks, use soap nuts instead for--(laundry detergent) (shampoo)(cleaning solutions for home) and if using detergent use very little...people use way too much, cloth instead of paper towels, bidet instead of toilet paper, a heating rack for drying clothes, use up what you have in the pantry, cook your own food and bake your own sourdough bread/pizza dough, eat less meat (dried beans are cheap), buy quality meat in bulk--grind--freeze etc. grow your own herbs or fruits and vegetables.
What the Heck do You Eat for someone to only spend 37 Euros. Here is America, I'm lucky, LUCKY, if I spend less than $125.00 Per Week... Any Recommendations are greatly welcome.
Do you think that basic economics like Budgeting and Taxes should be part of general school education?
Financial education enhances financial wellbeing and prepares students to understand and manage their incomes as adults.
100% agree @@surinhirani3559

Thank you so much!
It's actually a table I created on Notion. There's a link in the description and it is free to use! ;)

What is the money tracking app that you use? Obrigada Bea😊
Money manager. There are many others out there too :)
Do you use an app for budgeting ? I am making an app and budgeting along the way. Thinking what is important.
Hi :)
There's a free link in the description for the budget template I used in this video 🔗🤑
Wow Portugal is way cheaper than uk, the average rent in uk is £15000 and in London £2000
But the gap in average cost of living vs. average income is bigger
@carmoalbuquerque cost of living in UK is the worst it has ever been. Income depends on the city
Does anyone know how to change this to USD? I'm just trying to avoid recreating this lovely budget! :)
You can search online for how many dollars equals one euro. (search "convert 37 euro to dollars")
Hi
👋

I'm planning a video about this in the future 🤞 stay tuned 😊
We added meatless Monday to our menu. We eat things like beans, lentils and use mushrooms to trick ourselves to think we have meat in soups, etc
