These turned out so good! Flipping them over on the cnc and lining it up correctly is something I haven't been brave enough to attempt yet, but it definitely pays off because the look is way sleeker
Thanx!... yeah, I was a little nervous myself... I found a pretty helpful tutorial on Vectric's UA-cam which made it a little less intimidating... Thanx for watching...
I did my 1st 2 sided carve this weekend. I used the free project from Vetric. The pumpkin pie dish. I did it in Pine. I have a large block of Cherry my wife wants me to do a daisy top next.
@@maconSTUFF You're the only one I subscribe to Woodworking is really fun, I love the handle stand and the purpose built table you made, I think we could talk a lot about woodworking and lasers
You have earned a new subscriber. I am very interested on getting a CNC machine and 2 videos of yours from purchase to mking a design gave me a feel of how its like to have a CNC. Im currently practicing with Vcarve on making toolpaths and the design aspect of things. Hopefully we will see more content like this!
@maconSTUFF yeah the vacuum table is a bliss. How is your after sales support? I had some problems with my x and y axis and had to move the sensors but all good. Must say their support was on point with me and always helpful. I see you use a similar program to artcam. Did they supply it?
Seems almost as versatile as a 3D printer. Love those spoons.
It is!... Thanx!!
Great work mate best regads from venezuela, very good all the explain ang guide thank you

Nice video. Keep up the vood work.
Thanks, will do!
What's the size of your table? Didn't you take the vacuum option for the table? I'm running a 1530 Blue Elephant myself.
Nice! the 1530 looks like a beast... Mine is "1325" 1300 x 2500mm, in hindsight, I should have spent a bit extra and gone with the vacuum table...

The machine have a stepper motor?
This is a wonderful video. Do you have an interest in selling design file?
Dude, you’re a Sal Vulcano look alike.
What was machining time?
I think it was like 10 - 15min per side..
Yawn. I've seen my wife get at least 6 spoons out of a piece of wood that size.
