"FAIRHOPE, Ala. - Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas told attendees at a judicial conference Friday that he and his wife have faced “nastiness” and “lies” over the last several years and decried Washington as a “hideous place.”
Thomas spoke at a conference attended by judges, attorneys and other court personnel in the 11th Circuit Judicial Conference, which hears federal cases from Alabama, Florida and Georgia. He made the comments pushing back on his critics in response to a question about working in a world that seems mean-spirited.
“I think there’s challenges to that. We’re in a world and we - certainly my wife and I the last two or three years it’s been - just the nastiness and the lies, it’s just incredible,” Thomas said."

Julian Assange is in court facing extradition for his honest journalism disclosing international political, corporate and military crimes.
Unlike dodgy supreme court fraudulent judges, Julian does not deserve the weight of allegations against him. I would expect support from The Damage Report, from The Young Turks, from Some More News, from CNN and NBC. I expect FOX to remain part of the criminal cartel Murdoch rules like the nasty fossil the old fart is.

It is time to pass a law that makes it legal to sue U.S. Supreme Court Justices when serious conflicts of interest do happen. Clarence could be the first U.S.Supreme Court Justice to be sued.
SCOTUS should be disbanded. Thomas, Kavanaugh, Alito, Roberts, Gorsuch, and Barrett should all be removed. New Judges should be voted in by the people and have a limit of 2 4-year terms. They should not be appointed by any political party and have no political affiliates.

Everything he has said can be turned directly onto he and his wife. He can be impeached and Ginny absolutely be tried as an insurrectionist.
The problem here is that even though his corruption is being exposed nothing is being done about it. He isn't even being pardon the expression "benched" and kept from judging anything while HE is under investigation. Having him sitting there takes away any and all integrity from the whole court.
The only thing that can be done is impeachment and you have Johnson running the House. End of story. Vote BLUE to get rid of the stench of corruption the gop creates and carries with it.
Alito, too -- his corruption has just not been so publicized. And I think all the right-wing judges could bear some investigation on who is funneling money to them (e.g. Federalist Society).

Bribery, is Bribery, is Bribery. As a Keyholder in the Military? I wasn't even allowed to accept a free soda. I have actually flat out paid for a meal that some stranger paid for, and demanded to pay for it, get the receipt, because that was how the job was and is. Even going to a military function that had a meal, I had to get documentation showing who the military org was. Then I see some elected official or judge flat out taking bribes and daring to call it a 'gift'.

For what it's worth, here's my idea for Congress to fix the SCOTUS:
- Institute a VERY strict code of ethics for SCOTUS justices, where
they should not accept ANY gifts even as small as a stick of gum
- SCOTUS justices will have a single 20-year term
- The limit of the number of justices to the number of regional
courts of appeals - each justice will have oversight of a single
region, if they number of justices is less than the number of
regions, the additional regions will be overseen by the entire
SCOTUS
- Provided there are vacancies, the POTUS may appoint up to 2
justices during a first term, and up to 1 justice during a second
term
- The Chief Justice will be ELECTED for a single 5-year term. Votes
will be 1 vote per justice and 1 vote per regional court of appeals
- The Senate is required to take a floor vote for each judicial
nomination within 30-days of the appointment, no filibuster is
allowed
