as a beginner Valheim player, I'm blown away by the creativity on show here. had no idea any of this was possible! thanks for the clear and easy to follow steps... well, easy until I need to kill the monsters for the stuff
I honestly did not think i would get as many new ideas as i did watching this! I really like the yellow mushroom night-light and the Fuling totem teddy bear on the night stand :)
You Absolute queen. I have about 500 hours of messing around on Valheim with no cheats or mods and watched so many vids as well, yet your simple and comfy builds just hit different. I LOVE how you actually use unicode for decor, that's amazing. Had no idea it was possible. Thanks for posting!
Alright, you made me smile throughout the whole video, and I booted up the game halfway through to start implementing some ideas. Some decent creativity here, I dropped a like and sub, eagerly awaitng your next Valheim video :) Ah, and respect for the dragon eggs, that's some true dedication here... Skål!
Yeah I have about 5 different mountains and they all have their eggs marked :) It took me a long time, but it was also super fun just yeeting eggs down the mountains and trying to find them later! Skål!
I knew you can use Dragon Eggs and Swamp Keys for lighting, but all the other tips were new to me, and brilliant. Thank you! Your home looks very nice!
@@Samaramon I subscribed just to be notified when you do that. I bet I could learn a lot ... my house looks like a tool shed ... I just learned how to use item stands to put food on the table.
been searching yt for design ideas for a while now and this video was way better than all the 20+ min videos ive watched. The ideas were great but also just seeing your base has given me a few designs and inspirations too. thanks for posting
This is quite original. I kinda got bored looking up videos on Valheim and seeing the "Here's how to make a blacksmith/long house." or "Here's how to decorate your house. Step 1: Put shields on walls to feel more like a Viking" videos. It was so constant, I just sorta gave up looking and started using my own imagination. Thank you for some super fresh and adorable content! Keep it up. Glad you were able to post this!
Nice video! As someone who spends far more time building than much else in Valheim, I really appreciate it! I especially like that your tips are super simple but not something I even considered myself, so thanks!
That swimming pool with the swamp keys is just next level brilliant. Also, bit of confirmation bias here, but it finally validates my swimming pool idea to my wife (which is an IRL thing as well so , Keep up the good work!)
You can also trap fish in the pool! Bit of spoilers: if you've found your trader, you can use a fishing rod and catch fish, then release them when they're right above the pool :) I have about 5-6!
😆 I know this was meant with seriousness, but the contrast of the game and how cute these ideas, which are very creative and, well, cute, is hilarious. "You must kill Odins adversaries, nope, let's decorate!" Love it
@@Samaramon augh! I thought I'd tried to hang keys with item stands before, and it didn't allow the key to be placed. gonna have to go back and make sure I wasn't fat fingering it. that, plus the end table idea - my meadery is about to get some upgrades!
Thank you! I'm working on making an updated version of this video, considering it was 2 years ago and things have changed quite a bit, especially in the decorative sign area ^^
These are some pretty next level design ideas. Nothing I would have thought to do. Looking forward to seeing what you do with any new things they may put in game with the Hearth and Home update!
Nice. I used a tower shield as a cutting board in a prep station, and some poison potion and heal potions as oil and vinegar bottles :) ... Oh your bronze buckler plate is a good one, and the swamp keys to give the pool an aqua hue is downright genius. Actually the keys would make good spot lights for boats in a dockhouse too. My gears are turning now!
You house looks amazing. I think our party needs people like you to make the house look better. I don't think this is what the Valheim devs had in mind for people to do in the game. I love it 😄
This is the kind of content I needed. A more feminine and subtle approach (and so clever ! ) to Valheim building. It changes of the usual massive/impressive builds UA-cam always recommend. Thanks a lot. Great tips and beautiful house.
Ma'am, your video is a fresh breeze in this harsh world. I'll take note of your ideas to apply in my own house to get a little more comfy. Now let's look for some brutes.
Thank you so much for this video. I really liked it and your ideas area awsome and very creative. Hope you are still playing and creating as I would love to see some more builds and ideas.
i spend my time in valheim building bases and villages on every island, they get bigger and bigger and i have about two thousand signs spread across my settlements by now but i didn't event think to try unicode on them..... thanks a lot for that hint. also, love the pool. gonna build one now.
Wow, your base is actually incredible! I love it. Do you still play? Maybe you could make a video touring your entire base to show it off. Great work :D
As Im reaching the end of my campaign in Valheim Im finding myself over-whelming drawn to creative building. Some of the things you've shown in here are clever and charming ideas. I appreciate that you do not use cheats or mods. The Charmap tip is the best for me. I had no idea such a thing was even possible and now I cannot wait to get into my game and apply some of these techniques. Thank you so much for sharing.
I'm really looking forward to the Hearth and Home update, so I can see how far people's imaginations will go with the new building pieces being added in it.
Ooh, those lighting ideas were great. I think eggs and totems would be a nice fit around a Galdr table. And the keys would go nicely with the colors from the artisan table and the spinning wheel. Can't wait to see what you've done with the new goodies from Mistlands.
Who would've thought a badass Viking game would attract a gathering of girly interior designers scouring across UA-cam to bless us with their designs. Not that I'm complaining.
Very creative, your creativity has given me ideas to incorporate into my own builds. Don't be shy about posting more videos like this and your channel will blow up in no time.
Title: "cute" Valheim ideas
Video: *USE YOUR ENEMIES' HEADS AS FLOWER POTS*
Not my fault they have flowers growing out of them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I seriously cannot think of a more perfect example of “Viking decorating” than this. 😂 @Samaramon, excellent video!! ❤️❤️
their heads look cute when you cover up their eyes tho :P
The severed heads of your foes make great pillows
"so this Viking apparently built her entire house with the skulls of her fallen foes. She chose the largest among them presumably for their ornamental value." - future anthropologist
"What was she doing with 68 dragon eggs?" - his assistant
Is 68 eggs enough to achieve the title crazy dragon lady, or just rookie numbers?

Nah, the magic number is 69.

The Martha Stewart of the Viking age. Love it. Your courage in posting was very well placed. Salute
Thanks for your courage, that’s both cute and useful.
Well done 👍🏼
I love your Dragon Egg flower, with the Scale Shield petals.
Was gonna include it in a video someday, but thank you for noticing them! Hella grindy, but they look really cute 🌸
I think you demonstrate very nicely that Valheim has room for Cute! Excellent ideas and you've no reason to hesitate on sharing vids!

Aw I'm glad! The totems are adorable.
Some great ideas, my favourite is the flower pots my wife will love them.
you got a new subscriber. so so so blown away by the creativity. and without mods? OMFG
This was such a clever collection of decorating tips. Thank you very much for sharing!
First time seeing the Brute trophy flowerpot idea, and my feed is 75% Valheim build videos! Can't wait to add that to my castle.
Aw yay! They do look adorable, if you ignore the method of acquiring them >_>
I LOVE this alternative take/focus. Thank you for putting up this video. I'll subscribe.
Some of the best decorative ideas i have seen so far :) Ty for that Video i will defenetly youse some of them
All of this is amaaaazing! Please do an in depth home tour, and of course more videos like this one! Your ideas are so unique!
Will do very soon! I'm just working on a few base projects, don't wanna do a tour on an incomplete base ^-^

AAAAh!!! I love it... thanks for share!!! my fav so far is the flower pot and the couche!!❤❤❤ i'll be waiting the part 2 👀

Wow! Great job! I've only seen 2 of these ideas before but everything else was new. And I've never seen anyone make a swimming pool. Incredible!
You should definitely give some tours of your builds! Very Creative!

These are all pretty good ideas but damn using tower shield for the tables is pure genius. Looks amazing
you can also use them as cutting boards on countertops, plop down a loaf of bread and a copper knife and it looks neat

This was great. Most of these were unknown to me. The unicode idea... so simple but I hadn't thought of it, or seen it elsewhere. Thanks!
I'm just glad people understood I said "unicode", looking back on it now, it was late at night and it sounded like I said unicorn -.-
Such great ideas, Thank you. I'll be using them in my bases.
That swimming pool with the swamp keys is just next level brilliant. Also, bit of confirmation bias here, but it finally validates my swimming pool idea to my wife (which is an IRL thing as well so , Keep up the good work!)
You could build it in Valheim, to scale, and then show her around. That might help as well.
You can also trap fish in the pool! Bit of spoilers: if you've found your trader, you can use a fishing rod and catch fish, then release them when they're right above the pool :) I have about 5-6!
Some really cute ideas in here. I Will have to try some on my settlement build 👍❤ Oooh and I love the dragon head over the door. That is very cool.
😆 I know this was meant with seriousness, but the contrast of the game and how cute these ideas, which are very creative and, well, cute, is hilarious. "You must kill Odins adversaries, nope, let's decorate!" Love it
For this cute glow idea, kill the lord of the forest over and over and over and over again until he cries and you get enough keys to lit up your pool!
