This build is actually one Iv made 4 times for my own personal use. Twice in the pixel defects servers, once in my own main world (which you guys have seen on my other videos) and once here, to share with everyone. I really hope you guys enjoy this build as it is one I have used for many many hours in valheim. More Valheim Builds Here: ua-cam.com/play/PLIJ2gWXV7b05syGXrWsRmwR9VialZNWs0.html Thank you for watching and I hope to create a nice looking dock for the next video, I just want to make sure it looks nice first.
Thanks so much for this video! I've been enjoying it alot building this design, and I've also gotten a better grasp on how these building parts interract with each other
Really liked the build, but might want to use console commands to set and control the time of day. Couldn't see the first parts of the deck you built from the sun and getting dark during a demonstration build no good.
This is the most beautiful, practical, and future-proof starter houses I have ever seen. You are a masterful builder - I lack the imagination and aesthetic sense to come up with such a thing on my own but you can bet I'll be building a place like this for myself this weekend! Thanks for sharing it!
Once you start to put time into it, with a nice preparation (enough resources, a good flat area and no mob spawns to bother you every second) you will be surprised to see what beauties you can come up with :) Though I agree with you, indeed this starter base is very efficient and beautiful.
Thank you for your note about not wanting to use modes or cheats, this makes it more accessible to all play styles. This is a beautiful build I leaned a lot about adding more flair to my builds.
I'm impressed! Its so clear and easy to follow, with no cuts, which is rare to find here in UA-cam, i'm going to play it slowed and see if i can build this too! Thank you for your precious help, subscribed and looking forward to see more from you!
You are such an amazing builder! Thank you so much for sharing all these tutorials, it really helps uncreative and building challenged people such as myself. If you could start adding how much wood/materials it takes for each build that would be wonderful.
ile try my best to remember to add it into the next video, for now I added the estimated resource cost into the description ( since its still something I did recently its an accurate estimate ) Estimated Resources: Wood: 1100 (22 wood piles) Core Wood: 100 Fine wood: 200 Stone: 30 Bronze 15 Copper 28 Tin 10
Dang. I recently starting playing again after a few years break and have spent literal DAYS looking for this video. This was one of my favorite builds to use. So happy to have found it again. I'm sure will enjoy seeing some of the builds you may have done since this too!
Im glad you like this build, whenever I play this is still the main base I use. and I'm glad you found it again! hope you have a fun time playing valheim again!
Keep these builds coming! This is perfect for both those starting out and for more experienced players since it uses a real foundation so can be placed pretty much anywhere! And it really looks welcoming! Perfect place to come home to after those long winding adventures into the cold region! Nice work!
I show your videos to my girlfriend, who I'm playing valheim with currently and the builds are super easy to grasp. Great content....and also, just leaving the meadows music playing in the background fits it perfectly. would be nice to see Biome themed build with their own tracks
Your build videos are the best. I’m building a community with them. Thank you!!! Edit: this is the most efficient home for such long term use in the game. Absolutely a keeper.
Thanks, Its a building I started designing back when I first started playing, and Iv slowly added to the design over time. (the first version was actually in my day 100 base tour which I posted when valheim first released)
I like the way you built a real raised foundation off of the ground so you don't have to worry about flattening the ground first and all that, great idea. I just subbed😀👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Love this build, I changed it by adding a back door where one of the beds are. I really only pick between two designs when building my starter base and this is one of them.
I'm happy to know that my building is on that list, Im very similar when it comes to builds I personally use, I usually build the same building all the time when Im playing for fun.
This is an amazing build! I am gonna have to build this for myself too! I really like how your builds also help those starting out & may not have things unlocked or more advanced materials yet. This builds interior really showcases how you can have expansions to your home as to continue to unlock further crafting.
Thanks for the really useful vid. Just finished the build. Took me about 2 hours irl but had to farm wood as i went and im slow af. Made a moat round it too for extra protection from the critters.
Damn this one is nice! I thought your blacksmith one was great, so I spent some time making that one as my main. But this is incredible. Now I think I'm gonna do this one. Thanks for the inspiration!
thanks for the video extremely helpful for someone who struggles with the building side. I have just finished the build not perfect but a 100 % better to where I was. Thanks again
Wow, great build. I'm planning to Build a base on/in a new Seed and you've given me some great ideas. Like elevating those Fermenters for example and saving space on chests. In my main world; my friend and I have build more of a Decorated Warehouse then actually a cool place where my character can chill. So I wanna do it properly next time.
I am TOTALLY redoing my solo base in the Black Forest. I have a home stead in the Meadows, but this is AMAZING and would work well where I set up in the Forest.
Build idea: player-made “dungeon”. Maybe a fort/castle that you populate with spawned skele defenders and assault the fort with your friends once finished.
each of those cubbies can actually hold 20 if you care more about storage space than it looking nice, which for my survival world I do. Excellent build that will help me get a good start on a fresh character!
Thx this helped me get a shape and after building about 90 % I was able to start making changes and upgrades. I'm not good at getting started on new builds
I like this house. I find unless you make a huge structure to store everything, it's probably looks best to have multiple structures on a plot to store everything as the game progresses then surround it with walls.
Lol. This makes my starter box look horrible, although now it's a three tiered, moat fenced in humongous box. Thanks for all the tips on "how to make an absolutely beautiful starter home. This inspires me to move to a place I found on my seed where meadows meets black Forest, swamp and grassy plains...and it has a pond and ocean and an Island.
I made this today, with some minor changes. Not too difficult to farm for, not too complicated to build either and the video wasn't too hard to follow. I thought it was very helpful to have the video split up into sections too.
Nice build, I don't usually add all those details you added, but still very nice. I recently built a house and I was looking and the place seems big but I have no good place for the forge and things, and it seems like the 6th row is just more decoration, and no supports under the floor at all, I mean it must work right :) Thanks.
I'm building this in a world where I found a maypole. I had to tweak the design a bit due to the land leveling issues and not wanting to destroy it. It's off the back porch near the fireplace with a wall and roof over it to give it additional protection.
This is absolutely gorgeous. 😍 Wondering if you could keep boars in the fenced area too. I would assume so. Doesn't seem like there was anywhere big enough that they could squeeze through.
Im working on a dock / harbour style build for the next video, Im having some issues with recording it (building near water has not been kind to me so far) but I have the design. more or less fully figured out.
So, a double-wide trailer in Meadow Trailer Park. :-) On a more serious note I'd like to see you turn this plot into a fully sufficent farm. Boar for meat and fur. Vegetables. Tree farm for maintenance and firewood. A fishing pier for your food needs.
Hey! Great video! I have actually build this in survival and it is super nice (only problem is defense, but I suck at that). Could you please create an update for the iron age on this particular build? I really like the design!
Love this build, but 2 things. You forgot to show where you put your bed, and I was hoping for an updated iron era version? Cause I love this house, but I'm struggling with where to put the Smith's Anvil and Billows.
superb build, you are a great inspiration in my own building. I have a question though. how the heck do you get such a small tanning rack? or is it just me that thinks mine is way bigger then yours :P
At the time I recorded this the tanning rack was smaller, it increased in size right after the hearth and home update, so it is indeed smaller than it should be in the video :P
Studies point that 2/3 Valheim builds are this exact design. I made this to pick a few tricks after failing on some designs of my own and then i discovered the owner of the server I'm playing on had made it once too
Very good tutorial. Thank you for doing these videos. It really helps to understand how to build. I do have 2 questions. 1. As I was building I saw my pieces going grey. When I hover over them they are green but they appear damaged. I use the hammer in Repair mode and they repaired right a way. What causes that. 2. Where did you put the Kiln and Smelter? Are they in an outside enclosure? Thanks again for the excellent video.
the grey parts are wood that has been touched by water (most likely rain) you need the roof parts to be above any wooden pieces to protect them from water damage, BUT they can never break from water damage, they only go down to 50% health. also, I lined some smelters along the fence at the back and ended up having the kiln at the side of the house rather than inside the fenced area.
@@ZerosterBuilds Thank you for the quick reply. Now it makes sense. You are always very informative and I appreciate your help. I just finished the base house and am very happy with the results. I had a bit of trouble with smoke inside the house until I realized I had missed something in your video on the fireplace/chimney. All good now.
Hi, really love your design, it's beautiful and your video made it very easy to follow. Can I request something like a log cabin or something like that?
Iv wanted to make a log cabin myself, I have thought when I do make it I want it to be something like a wood cutters cabin, with stacks of logs outside.
It's a nice base i like it, though i'd argue it's more of a starter base for experienced players. New players wont be able to do this. I had no idea about core wood, or fine wood when i started. man your video is so great, keep it more and more, the subscriber is increasing.
Thanks so much for this video! I've been enjoying it alot building this design, and I've also gotten a better grasp on how these building parts interract with each other
just finished my build this is amazing work love it
Really liked the build, but might want to use console commands to set and control the time of day. Couldn't see the first parts of the deck you built from the sun and getting dark during a demonstration build no good.
I love that you added the "floor plan" diagram in the beginning. That is a great touch that I have never seen before in a video.
This is the most beautiful, practical, and future-proof starter houses I have ever seen. You are a masterful builder - I lack the imagination and aesthetic sense to come up with such a thing on my own but you can bet I'll be building a place like this for myself this weekend! Thanks for sharing it!
I'm in the same boat
Once you start to put time into it, with a nice preparation (enough resources, a good flat area and no mob spawns to bother you every second) you will be surprised to see what beauties you can come up with :)

I love the way you added depth to your walls.
Anyone else more and more anxious watching the piles of wood get fewer and fewer? No? Just me? xD
Great build! Very clean and aesthetically pleasing!
This honestly is one of my favourite builds I’ve seen. Nothing crazy stupidly big, nice and practical and looks great too. Good job buddy 💪
I love how you grounded the greyling instead of killing it 10:56 also very nice builds!

OMG your build guide is the best out there! full of details and easy for us to follow!
Your building design is so inspirational!
Maybe try this on my own next time when I played Valheim.
Hope to see more of this in the future!

Most insane content regarding valheim base building on UA-cam , keep up the work king 👑
Glad to see you not flying around in the air while building lol those videos drive me nuts.
now THIS IS a well explained building vid!!! Not the show up crap that explains nothing ... thank u very much!

Master builder skills for days
This looks great! I don’t need a place to live, but I’ll probably steal this for a cooking house.
The best build video I've seen. Great design! 👍
Is a really awesome building, I enjoyed all the small details that made it look so nice and its very practical as well :)

Ive just built myself this home, took me ages! lol appreciate your hard work! now i dont have to live in a delapidated shack :D
thats one of the best building videos i have seen thank you
Thank you for making a house that we can build at the start of the game without cheats ❤️👏🏻
Just finished the build today took all day to farm but totally worth it you deserve my subscription 👏👏
Amazing build. I have been looking for ideas for my next base... and i have just found my next base. Thank you so much for the videos.
I enjoyed building this nice comfy house 👍

wow dude great build it inspired me in building skill, thankyou was searching for simple build but this came up, awesome
Thx this helped me get a shape and after building about 90 % I was able to start making changes and upgrades. I'm not good at getting started on new builds
Id like to see you do a dock build, great job.
We built this house and it's awesome. Starting playing with it today.
dude, yours buildings are amazing, I made all of them!!
Same here except for the tower. Have not done it yet since busy with the plains right now.
Same
Nicely done. Good design - and you built it rather deftly. Gave me some ideas, too. Thanks :)
really enjoy watching your video! want to see the layout of your village
Beautiful home. Thanks for helping with this amazing tutorial. 👏
Talented and doesn't beg for likes & subs , I subsrcribed !
thank you i had so much fun building this and now I have a proper house
what a lovely place you´ve build there
Great build video as usual
Man, thank you so much. Finally my house doesn't like pice of sh*t and i am so proud of it. Thanks!!
Love it! I made this for my outpost in the plains.
I like this house. I find unless you make a huge structure to store everything, it's probably looks best to have multiple structures on a plot to store everything as the game progresses then surround it with walls.

Really awesome buildings. I would love to see a Dockhouse for your boats :)

Great design! Practical, functional and beautiful! Subscribed.
Right, right, put the fire next to the wood walls - genius;)
Great build
I wish there was an easy mod that could help with pre built houses. I'd love this build you created.

Does adding the angled beams under and attached to vertical beams increase structural integrity or is it purely for looks?
