Something that helped me a lot was just accepting that I'm naturally a child like person. I like laying on hills and looking for cloud animals, I like skipping rather than walking, I like picking flowers from the side of the road, and I still sleep with stuffed animals. I think a lot of women are this way but we're told that we have to grow up but maybe we don't. Men find this endearing and they can let their guard down. My husband was never allowed to be a kid and it really drew him to me because I genuinely enjoy being a kid at 29 years old lol! Now we have sword fights in the woods with sticks and play hide and seek and do all kinds of silly things. It's fun! Let yourself have fun ladies!

    1. Okay up your femininity (colors, hairstyles, heels, purses, dresses)
    2. Add visual contrast (heels, lipstick, longhair, accessories, dresses especially when other women are all wearing jeans
    3. Sophistication and polishing (old money aesthetic, look put together, avoid patterns, accessories, neutrals, not too flashy, not a lot of logos)
    4. Get physically fit (men love healthy vibrant fit women, it’ll give you a glow)
    5. Charisma (how we treat others, smile more)

I enjoyed the girl talk video😊 I would consider myself to be a fairly charismatic person but depression really removed that ability from my life for several years. That was a roadblock to making any progress with self-improvement. I would encourage anyone who feels they might be suffering from depression/anxiety issues, seek help in whatever way you can first. All of the other steps Caitlin has mentioned become easy and so much fun when you feel peace in yourself.

I feel like I’m warm-- and I’m very friendly. but, I’m a introvert person I’ve had to make a concentrated effort to smile & to radiate joy! I can have that resting “ you know face” I am pretty and when I don’t smile and I’m not warm people assume that I’m a snob. And sometimes because of this I have a hard time making friends-- I went through a really awkward stage in my late teens early twenties and it really impacted me- But, having my own “glow-up” even after having babies ( in my thirties-- yes, you can have a “glow-up” in your thirties!!! ( I’m more fit, better hair, straighter teeth, overall better self-care) anyway, sometimes I still think I’m that awkward women.. when I’m not. But, honestly-- the prettiest girl without a warm friendly attitude is just a pretty face. I was try to remember that. I might notice a pretty person .. but, I always remember a kind person and the way they made me feel!

Of course! It’s not very exciting 😅
We sleep trained Bodie, but not Troy! Both were really different experiences because they’re different babies. I followed “The Peaceful Sleeper” method from Instagram. She’s a modified sleep training lady who honors parents who like attachment parenting. Troy had slept like an Angel since we brought him home from the hospital, but Bodie was tougher and I needed guidance on how to approach it all, and the Peaceful Sleeper really helped me through it!! I had a lot of anxiety about leaving the boys to self-soothe because I like to be there for them 100%. The peaceful sleeper was the only person I found who fit my parenting style. ❤❤❤

So the peaceful sleeper on Instagram was awesome because she goes live and does stories and posts constantly about how to do an attachment-focused sleep method where mom and baby get their needs met. I was pregnant with Troy and had a lot of risky complications when Bodie was being sleep trained, so getting me sleeping through the night was a really big priority in our household. Hot weather dress tip: bike shorts aren't your only option to avoid thigh rubbing and rashes. Try Monistat Anti-Chafe Powder Gel or a runners Bodyglide stick. Both work at least 8hrs in sticky, humid weather before needing to reapply.

I'm naturally warm towards my family, friends, coworkers, etc. but when I'm out and about running errands or in an environment where I don't know anyone I know I have an element of hostility lol! Idk why, maybe I don't want to deal with talking to strangers. Whatever the reason I'm sure it's off-putting.

I have more of the opposite issue: I always stand out a bit **too** much. I´m still in my 20s, over 6ft tall, often wear heels and vintage floral dresses in light colours as well as long hair in intricate half-updos or vintage curls and I´m always a tad overdressed.
This means that I usually stand out A LOT and sometimes I think about toning my styling down a bit and just wearing a shirt and jeans because it would probably seem more elegant, but I just love the way I look in those outfits, heels, make up etc.

In my opinion every woman is beautiful and can glow up, when embracing their body silhuettes with styles that work best for their unique body type.. my life got so much easier and i feel more like myself, after many years that i thought that i couldn't pull off almost any kind of style, since i learned about Kibbe body types..after discovering my type it made a lot of sense why certain styles did not flatter me, and i found out what suits me the most, including make up and hairstyles! Also finding my color season was a game changer!
