I grew up with a mom who is very in her masculine, and I was taught that this is the only way to live as a strong independent woman. I have learned so much from you, and through critically thinking about other female/feminist/femininity content creators and deciding what feels true to me. So many "feminine" traits that I have learned from this hobby have led me to be a happier person (and improved my relationship).

This is so sweet and I relate with the idea of becoming happier!!! I used to struggle with a lot of super Eeyore emo energy and emotions, like I was just upset all the time. But pressing into my femininity has really freed me up to enjoy life more and just be happier. What a blessing it is to be a woman! 😊❤ thank you for being here my dear. It’s so fun to have people who enjoy these topics to chat about them with. 😅

I'm currently working in the superyacht industry as a 23 yo woman. As a student i was afraid my 'feminine side' was a negative thing; especially in a male dominated industry. I was afraid nobody would take me seriously as a young woman.
But soon i discovered once your confident in yourself and in your work, people will be too!
Now i even think that being a woman in a male dominated industry can be beneficial. Women have more soft skills and they are very well needed in the workfield.
Never question your soft and feminine side, it has more power than you think!

I don’t know if anyone remembers the queen from the Tinkerbell movie, but she’s the first person/character that comes to mind when I think of feminine elegance and confidence lol! If you shout, it freightens the kids, it becomes normal to them, they will learn to shout back. It is difficult to undo. Count to 5 or 10 in your head before you respond. Learn to respond, not react. Anger fixes nothing. Get a babysitter and join a gym, work out, it helps.

„cold-hearted“ woman here. the root of the display of this sort of character is the sin of mistrust.
the woman I seek council from told me that the belief „I can trust nobody and no one is going to help me“ developed during my childhood to help me survive, yet it is of no more use as an adult - quite the contrary, it‘s really harmful to other people. my pastor recently told me I should greet people more warmly for example, haha. it’s a process.
blessed be God that He renews my heart by His Truth through His Spirit and I trust Him, that He will break down my hard shell day by day so the love of Christ in me shines through, blessing others!

I love the way you talk about femininity. So many other channels talk about the presentation of femininity at a superficial level but you speak about it in terms of maturity, virtue, and character. The way you describe it sounds empowering, alluring, and accurate. As a young woman living in her masculine, femininity can feel intimidating because our culture frames it as weakness and I am afraid to give up the qualities that have made me successful and strong. But the way you discuss femininity hits my spirit and is exactly how I want to be as an adult and as a woman.

I remember the time when I was travelling solo in Japan alone. I went to three places - Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. I had a slightly bad experience when I was in Tokyo - the people I encountered were rude, which was really unexpected. I got quite sad as a result, so I was expecting the same thing to happen throughout my 2 week trip. But then I went to Osaka, and I remember walking around just wringing my headscarf at the same time feeling nervous. And what do you know, this Japanese grandma suddenly greeted me with the warmest "Good morning"! And despite the language barrier, I just felt so much better. Interactions, even with strangers, can really help 🤭 although, of course, sometimes discretion is needed. But overall, that was the highlight of my Japan trip... not the sights that I saw, but that grandma that was so kind and sweet to me when I needed it.

It is so rude to tell that to a date or anybody that is trying to get to know you, to imply that they're replaceable. The "boss" energy that's plaguing our society undermining femininity, calling it "weak" and telling newer generations of women they must channel masculine energy to be taken seriously. There is power within femininity and masculinity, they should not be treated as liabilities.

I appreciate so much that you also make this as a religious woman because I'm trying to be more in tune with my religion and my relationship with God and going from worldly perspectives to spiritual ones has left me a bit lost in how my energy should be. Thank you so much Caitlin for sharing with us your wonderful take on feminity, relationships and friendships! Whenever you put out a new video it brightens up my day and I always take my time to watch and listen to what you have to say. Keep on spreading positivity and the importance of being kind, grateful and true to your feminine self 💕💕
PS: I don't usually comment on videos but I just saw you reply to a comment saying you think your channel is dying. I am certain that there's many women out there that (like me) enjoy your videos and value the effort you put into them 🥰

I wanted to thank you so very much for making this video. It was a lightbulb moment for me. I finally realized why the last four years I have been really unhappy with myself and everything in my life, because I had a combination of the Bad B negative masculine energy and also like the people pleasing traits. So in the end I was super negative focused on having material success while at the same time doing whatever people wanted just to have them in my life. I actually found these three books very helpful in breaking away from those mindsets: A Woman's Walk with God Growing in the Fruits of The Spirit by Elizabeth George and Beautiful in God's Eyes The Treasures of the Proverbs 31 Woman by Elizabeth George and also The Approval Fix by Joyce Meyer. I hope any one that these books will help others just like they have helped me. Cheers to a more whimsical vibrant feminine future for us all 😀

id like to thank you for not making me feel... hmmm how should i say.... "crazy"? i guess with how i like to live my life. im an atheist but just by what i want in life it somewhat aligns with christian and feminine values a lot. like im not into hookup culture, i dont wanna just have sex with anyone if we arent married and stuff like that. i like having a career but also dressing up and being feminine and cultured. im still almost 100% i wont have a family but i still appreciate your content so so much

So when he’s home I have a VERY hard time not taking control of absolutely everything and bossing him around lol. I do not know how to be a soft feminine woman if my life depended on it 😂

Thank you! It's easy to go between the two extremes of people-pleasing and coldness - especially after being hurt. I wonder what suggestions there are for people who are scared to open their hearts to others (& the world).

    • @sarahthatcher123
      @sarahthatcher123 Рік тому +1

My suggestion would be to learn healthy relational boundaries. Many people think they know what this means and just say oh ya, ya just say ‘no’. There is so much more to it. I learned through the book called ‘Boundaries’ by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. It is ‘Christian’ based. When I practiced and learned how to have healthy boundaries it gave the ‘room/ space’ for me to mature and really figure out who I am and my necessary roles and ways of being in the world and all my various relationships. It just gave me the foundation I needed to develop a genuine confidence in who I am and yet the wisdom and knowledge to know how to protect myself ( my heart). To me, it literally teaches how to be exactly what she describes. For me it took many years and so much ‘work’ and practice and I’m always growing more. But it was just such a solid foundation and still is. That’s just my suggestion.

Meet someone through someone so you know their character. I still would play no games. If I dated again I'd still be frank and upfront. I know it's hard. God bless you. How to be warm to someone who has hurt your feelings in the past? I love being warm with everyone except one sibling who used to bully me (many years ago) and sometimes still mocks me or snaps at me... I feel like I'm contributing to their negative attitude towards me by being completely un-vulnerable because I am scared of letting my guard down. Sometimes I'll ask "how is xyz going" because I care about them and want to know and they interpret it as me being smug, sadistic and wanting to poke at their problems... But I don't want to be sweet and warm and then be scoffed at, mocked or threatened again :(

I feel this so much. Some of my family are just unusually cruel and mean-spirited in a way I didn't realise wasn't normal growing up lol. A lot of them I had to cut off completely and the two I still talk to I just have minimal contact with (blocked on most social media, I only talk to them at family events like Christmas and we get along fine then! In small doses they can be ok but any extended length of time around them can be unbearable) I hope things get better for you ❤️
