I had like 19k could have dropped Missouri. But instead weegee released these mod upgrades of which i had acquired epic back during the mission for, so i dropped 10k on those og 5...now im back stacking again, i already dropped for colbert i dont think ill ever obtain salam or Missouri😭
Salem is definitely the best choice but for 25K steel and the benefits of the campaign Tulsa is a great second choice (Aaron humbly says with his XP record)
Yeah, this will basically be the "free" Salem, that most players will have, but i bet you most cruisers you will see in arenas and such will still be the Salem, Kronstadt and Agir. This is one of those ships people will have in port to get some dust on or outright sell it (don't). GG.
I like it, One of my fav U.S. cruisers, I like the reload time, less damage but the reload make you feel like your putting in work. plus surprisingly agile
I won a 100k dubs crate a while back. Bought it out played 10 or so games and all where lack luster so I started playing more passive This is key finally had a good game damage wise, 150k
I found the same, I'm pretty aggressive in American heavies. Get very close to the cap. 3 games in a row I got pushed by 3-5 red ships, while having limited support from my team. Died in all three. Maybe it's just a case of bad teams or me being too aggressive, but this gameplay I decided to be more patient, position to run, and the game turned out loads better
As you said, this one is vanilla, i don't even know what to say about it, beside its not the king of Tulsa (🙃) and that Salem is better, and since i really don't like 6 barreled ships i think i'll pass

Well, it's another american high tier cruiser without Torps...and immediately powercrept by Salem within her own campaign (who also is just another american cruiser without torps), feels like Salem and Tulsa want to compete for attention, but most are just be lookin' with a gloomy expression, at the distant beauty that is San diego locked behind 100bundles of randomness... in my opinion they should've made San diego the Steel ship and Salem the random bundle trophy, but if that would've been a better solution, I dunno...
@@DerkaGames I can't speak from personal experience, since I don't have her, so all I saw is an american cruiser with torps and SAP, which sounds quite unique. I appreciate the insight, though. Seems like I wouldn't really have a fun time with her then :/

I have done one but tell you the truth it's only the service cost and probably steel that interest me and I'm sure I can manage them on my own as I'm in it for the long term lol look forward to you're san Diego video for some more tricks and tips. I have Des Moines so I really don't see the point in Salem and Tulsa, TBH. T8 is weak for cruisers in general, Roon is garbage, St Louis and Seattle are mid (at best) . On the other hand Drake is kinda quirky and fun and Donskoi is easily the pick of the tier for me (which makes a change for the Russian cruisers).
Why are carrier players so brain DD in attacking the ship class they are BEST at getting killed…. Every CV that gets killed by a DD means that CV earned that. Any CV that gets killed by CL and BB the team failed.
I feel like you can call Tulsa the budget Salem for people who can't farm up steel quickly (also i feel like Tulsa should have quicker or the same reload as Salem since you lose 1/3 of the Salem's guns, 5.2 or 5.4 secs is more than enough for a budget Salem)
Looking at tech tree ships, Salem and Tulsa and miles ahead of anything there. They've got all the best points of Buffalo and Seattle, and then they buffed it even further cuz luls. It's pretty ridiculous tbh.
Seattle is a stinker imo but I do see the positives of Buffalo vs Tulsa. More firepower, health, and AA. But compared to Salem every other cruiser is a turd at T8 lol its possible it will need a..."rebalancing" soon
@@DerkaGames Buffalo may have more guns per volley, but Tulsa reloads in nearly half the time with higher dmg per shell. It's a play style difference more than anything. Specially when you consider 50% of Buffalos DPM is at the rear.

I spent a bunch of steel on ships I use alot. The Atlantico has become a very nasty secondary BB especially with the epic and legendary mod upgrades.

Can’t speak for everyone with regards to the Salem video but I often skip videos on ships that I don’t or won’t be getting anytime soon

My relationship with San Diego is quite a bit different lol. Hard ship to play without a div. Very heavily reliant on teammates!
