Video is a masterpiece. The best informational video I've ever watched. Script is very strong. Animations, illustrations, music, the voice all in perfect harmony. Not less creative than a Chanel suite.
@@clementcourreges2226 There are now 31 and they don't mention it. Not that I care. If you know Chanel, then you know she bedded a Nazi and was a Nazi spy. Whether or not the company mentions it on a UA-cam video shouldn't make or break anyone's feelings for her. JMO
@@ilovebeinagirl Yes they do mention it ! I'll find it and let you know if I can remember in which one. Or I'll watch them all. Don't forget that she had business with Jews as well. I'd say it's difficult to judge someone that had to deal with such a period. Many women were in both "side", flirting with Germans and trying to save Jews, or other people.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I would love any assistance you can offer me.
Can we talk about how brilliant this video is! Its incredible. The work , detail , the flow everything just works and its informative to boot. As for my opinion on who is is and she believes that is for myself to research and come to conclusions but I can say she truly did make a statement of fashion and its history.
I always under estimated brand names.... and thought that they were brand because of their endurance through time, and the hype that snowballed behind them... but Chanel is different... not only does this represent a brand name, that's just the tip of the iceberg... it represented the liberation of a woman, and through her work the liberation and change of a generation.... it is a legacy not a brand name, a legacy a gift from Chanel to us Women, and Men alike as well, to be simply ourselves, strive to break the boundries and live fully as the best version of ourselves. I just gained so much respect for Madmoiselle Chanel.
A masterpiece indeed! A student in my Public Speaking class chose Coco Chanel as her Hero during her Inspirational Speech. She has been most inspired to follow her dreams thanks to Coco Chanel. I find it lovely she knew of Coco Chanel and being so young. Great job...would love to hear see it also in Spanish for those young ladies of Latino origins who also love to dream about becoming great designers..Congratulations! This should be played also on national television in the US..Hugs
The narrator is amazing! Such an emphatic, piercing and smoothly flowing voice, beaming with confidence! Amazingly represents chanel's true persona. The video is perfectly synchronized with respect to the flow of information and its relevance, along with the animation and the narration! Well done.
I will admit I am NOT a fashion person - but I LOVE this ad/video!!! To the marketing person or persons that made this video thank you for grabbing my attention in the first 2 seconds and most of all thank you for telling me about the brand and the person that created it.
So when i saw this ad, i couldn't help but watch it all the way through. such an interesting, tragic, and inspiring story, and the artistic style that the video is done with is one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. im blown away.
This is so amazingly beautiful! Everybody should be grateful to CHANEL. What she did changed the world. The way people see things. Teary eyes. Love it.
I've always considered Coco Chanel as a very brave woman. This video just re-ensures that idea in my mind. A real icon in modern history, a person that really changed the world and its culture.
This inspires me to keep on dreaming and achive to become a well known designer of my generation . Just a young teen with a really big dream and I really hope it becomes real ..This is amazing Coco is my insparation ❤️
Amazing video summary. I usually skip the ads before my main video, but this had me hooked. Here's to many more years of Chanel and those revolutionizing the fashion industry.
he did. he loved her very much. because of him she opened her first store, he was a rich man, if he didn't love her he would have chosen another woman.
MelyGotGucci 69 what money ??? coco was poor at that time, he was the one with money. she opened her first store because of him, because he helped her. and she never loved someone like him. don't write stupid things if you have no idea..
I love this. Chanel the woman who taught women to move forward with pride and great heart. Great story so much to be learned from Chanel. Very glad this is here. THANK YOU!
I too have no interest in fashion but I couldn't help but finish watching the ad and then clicking on the video to watch it again! Very beautiful, educational ad!
Thank you, what a wonderful narration, so good to understand her. Always love her perfume and fashion, always will. She has become such a legend forever.
Magnifique vidéo.. Je pense que Coco restera à jamais dans l'histoire de la mode, des femmes, de Paris. Elle est un emblème pour toutes les femmes.J'ai lu son livre et regarder son film. Je l'admire **
: the true story is Chanel was a nazi spy, Stole her most famous perfume Chanel no 5 from a Jewish family and also forced that same family to pay her living expenses. sad she has been described as a "RUTHLESS ANTISEMITE" and was friends with hitler and did some of the design for the SS and Wehrmacht attire. thats the real coco chanel. just a theif and a nazi
i honestly cried after watching this...saddening and empowering at the same time.. cried a tear of joy for persistence in a dream is what i feel..power to love and persistence.
I love the Chanel brand but it's quite amusing how people seem to praise her and claim her as an inspiration without knowing that she was a numbered Nazi agent working for the Abwehr, Germany's military intelligence agency. She was fiercely anti-Semitic and used her German contacts to protect her wealth and also tried to exploit the grotesque Nazi “Aryanisation” laws which banned Jews from owning businesses. She hoped to snatch back her perfume company and the rights to the famous Chanel No 5 scent, which she had sold to the Jewish Wertheimer brothers in 1924.
Not only Is this woman's story captivating- the way it's told, the voice, everything about this ad is so fascinating. When it first came on, it made me not want to press the "skip" button- and I'm glad I didn't.
this is going to be a bit out of topic but it sounds like matty healy could've created the narrative

The woman... the legend... Gabriel Chanel. A spark plug for change; a noble voice for humanity... a beacon for liberty reserved for a delicate space in our minds, in our hearts, and surprisingly.. in our clothes. My non-feather-ornamented hat is off to you Ms. Chanel indeed.. who would have knew..
once upon a time i used to skip ads in youtube until one day i saw this ads, i pretend i did not see the skip ads button. im glad i saw it till the end. i Love Coco Chanel.
This is graphic design gold. And story telling at its best
quite simple but brilliant. Its wonderful and touching :)
As a designer, I can agree that it's brilliantly elegant, perfectly simple and defined, I would expect nothing less than this from Chanel. ❤
Tem que produzir para português!!!
Video is a masterpiece. The best informational video I've ever watched. Script is very strong. Animations, illustrations, music, the voice all in perfect harmony. Not less creative than a Chanel suite.
...Except for the fact they conveniently left out the part about her being a Nazi sympathizer.
swimmingly100 .
Did you watch all the videos ? there are 17 of them, at some point they talk about this !

Wow! She really is an inspiration! Breaking down gender barriers must not have been an easy feat. I salute you, Coco!!
Adam Centeno FFS 20th century Europe was more free than now. If you don’t believe just go ask Brigitte Bardot
She also supported the nazi's... And was a spy for them. Not really a inspiration
This is no ad.
This is art.
Before becoming a legend, she was simply, ‘Coco.’ View Chapter 5 of #insidechanel, “Coco."
That was wonderful. Beautifully done love it
Inspirational story

Incredibly done and classically stated. Fantastic.

+aditya chitrodia I believe the narrator is Rachel Weisz but I can't be sure. I haven't found any credits saying yes or no....????
I've watched this more than once and it still amazes me.
Imagine this was created 11 years ago. And I must say this video is so so good❤❤
What a wonderful piece of art!!!!! i love it!!
Okay I'm not even a big fan of Chanel but WOW was that amazing. I really liked the smooth transitions, the voice, the repitition.. all of it. Wow

Coco Chanel is the example of a hard-working woman who earned her spot in the fashion industry.
And a nazi
Sucks that she was an anti semite as well
This video is an art.
I love her way of life..
2021 and Coco Chanel remains an iconic fashion character
And a Nazi
I left the video I originally clicked on to watch this again... First ad I haven't skipped.
Her voice is like a lullaby to me.
This is so amazingly beautiful! Everybody should be grateful to CHANEL. What she did changed the world. The way people see things. Teary eyes. Love it.
she was a nazi…
coco and boy had the greatest love story in history.

Hola ií
So inspiring is indeed the iconic Coco Chanel. Thank you for sharing her story
I get emotional when it comes to her, she's a legend and no one can deny it, the world will never forget Chanel
And no one can deny that she was a nazi sympathizer
Except her half long wikipedia page detailing her being a nazi sympathizer
She was antisemitic, was a spy for the nazis, was in love with a ss man, was a nazi sympathiser and she was for the whole aryan race theology
Amazing video summary. I usually skip the ads before my main video, but this had me hooked. Here's to many more years of Chanel and those revolutionizing the fashion industry.
Oh lady what a pleasure to hear such a story about Coco, I love the way you delivered it❤️ much love and respect.

just incredible story for the real life of an ambitious woman
2022 I watch it. This is what the definition of documentary means to us. I appreciate it. Thanks Chanel
I am a guy, and I can't agree more with you. Chanel is my favorite brand, and this short clip beautifully summed up Coco's life.
Uma história dramática, porém linda e repleta de superação!
I too have no interest in fashion but I couldn't help but finish watching the ad and then clicking on the video to watch it again! Very beautiful, educational ad!

Amei! Linda historia!
Fantastic storytelling. I love Coco!
Gabrielle Chanel, she was at the same time simple and chic.
I thing that Class has a synonim and that's CHANEL
Julieta Font chic is simplicity, feminine simplicity 🙂
She has always held a special place in my heart.. And will always represent innovation and undeniable strength
who did the background music for the video I really like it and want to know.

Avia - Coco, it’s on Spotify

this is brilliant! engaging! i think all girls want Chanel bags now!
I love the Chanel brand but it's quite amusing how people seem to praise her and claim her as an inspiration without knowing that she was a numbered Nazi agent working for the Abwehr, Germany's military intelligence agency. It doesnt change how she changed the fashion world with her works. Her creativity, work ethics and innovative mind are inspirational.
Coco Chanel is my Inspiration in life
She was a Nazi literally part of the nsdap party
"Once upon a time, there was a great love named Boy Chapel..."

the number of times I got goosebumps while watching this..
Why leave out the part where she helps Nazis?
Art Déco why?
she supported the Nazis ?
@MikeHunt no she was also an agent, look it up
it's an advertisement not a documentary
Everyone is saying she was a good person
can't believe i didn't skip a 3 minute ad, then proceeded to watch other ads as well. bravo chanel.
I love british accent
sam dexter that's French....
Jennie Nguyen c vying!
c Xxx, f
She has a very particular voice and I've watched all her movies multiple times. Strong feeling it's her!
Coco made having tan skin an "in" fad.
It's not a fad nowadays
What an incredible video! I don't even care about the video I was going to watch anymore... I'd rather see more of this!
And where is the part where she was a German Abwehr spy?
Saw this as an ad before a video, and had to search it immediately on UA-cam, if all ads were like this, I wouldn't click the skip ad button so much
Wow. Coco est vraiment une femme extraordinaire et super inspirante !! Très bien faite la vidéo !
