I have a 2016 721 RC, same as these. I replaced the spark plug from the back without taking the machine apart - takes a couple minutes. I waited 6 years to do it; well worth it, the machine ran much better.
I have the exact snowblower I purchased for $50 at a neighborhood yard sale. I just saw the video followed steps and it started on the first pull. Thank You Sir & Merry Christmas!!!
Thank you very much sir I had to do that repair today on the exact same snowblower that you have and I didn't know what the heck that metal spark plug cover was and I had no idea how to get it off so thank you very much it's now running perfectly
I change my spark plug, though I just lifted the blower forward reached in the the back and pulled it out. I did not have to disassemble the plastic covering or the thrower chute. just a 5 minute job that way
Some comments have stated they can get their hand in there with out taking off the top cover. My hands are too big to get into the spark plug area and there is very limited space to get any tool in.
I'm working on mine now. Couldn't pry off the spark plug connection so I had to take the chute and red cover off. Just to change a spark plug.@@TheCrazyCaptain
This is such an unfriendly design. The top chute atached to the handle and the ring below is on three nuts. They rust from snow and now I can't get them out. The chute does not come out I can't move further. getting to the spark plug is like mining for gold. I am just going to toss my blower and get a new one. Definitely a hond aor something where the spark plug is out front. BAD DESIGN REALLY BAD DESIGN

Thanks....I did this, too. Only small problem was getting the plug aligned with the threaded hole without good visibility, but got it back in okay.

No special gapping? Just install it out of the package?
I don't remove any plastic I just go from the rear of the machine a little congested but it save s time and work.
Wow the pop must have been on sale , turning wenches makes you thirsty ? A good spark plug always help in reliability .
Yeh, we stock up when it’s on sale. You should see my bottled water stash.😁
Don’t ever change it until it dies
Miserable design just to access the spark plug. Designed by some one who lives in Palm Springs.

Others have said they can get their hand in through the back with out taking it apart. I guess my hand is to big to squeeze it in there
