Everyone likes a different look, I could be happy w/ that spec, mine might be a little different but its close. At this level I guess if you're this wealthy go for it. This was always my favorite supercar.
But congratulations to you! I am so envious as I absolutely love the look of them. I much prefer McLarens to Lambos. I did in a moment of madness start to think about an Artura knowing full well how much trouble I would have getting in and out but having gotten an allocation for a Spyder RS, I will stick to being more sensible (slightly!)
Not my Car :) McLaren Melbourne allowed us to drive and do this review of the new car. The Spyder RS I’m starting to see on road now, that’s exciting for you! I have taken the Artura on track; very capable and comfortable for a supercar, a little too quiet though..
I don't know if I agree or understand what you mean when you say the 750s is much more livable than the 720s? I'm biased as I drive a 19 performance but it seems like it would be the opposite but realistically practically identical. The 720s has the more street friendly suspension as the 750s is leaning closer to the 765lt and is considered in comfort what the 720s is in sport. As for the price and if it's worth it, I definitely can understand any argument and WISH I could say it's worth it but I financially can't and that's a me problem. I just think for most people a couple hundred thousand dollars for what difference is offered is a tough value proposition. Mclaren really has created that themselves though with how they flooded the market initially with new models and treated customers. The 720s only has about 7000 coupes and spiders and probably 1,000 of those are wrecked or salvaged. It's definitely undervalued on the used market but I wouldn't say the 750s is undervalued on the new market when the 296GTB is somewhat comparable in price and performance but much better brand value. I do agree with your assessment on the back as I think it's a nice step up. I think the front isn't as nice because of that bumper but it's not a big difference. It's tough 1 upping maybe the greatest overall supercar ever made though:)
Easier to live with because of the much faster and easier front lift and carplay, I found the 750s to still have incredibly compliant suspension, where are the figures for 1000 wrecked, That's nuts! a 2022 lightly used 720s is a steal now yes I agree.
@@Driver_88 that's good point about the nose lift as I didn't think about that. I find the nose in general to have decent clearance, at least compared to my previous huracan so I don't use it often. I don't have real figures to give about the 720s salvage titles/wrecks but just a guesstimate given other high performance cars like the viper i've been around. Between floods, crashes, lemons, other disasters, it's pretty easy to lose 25% of a small supply.
Got a 570gt (done the 911 thing didn’t gel with rear engined configuration)…720 or 750 next won’t be getting anything with a hybrid..sportscars need to be light or there not sportscars..
765 LT design is the best from the 720 design series. How will the true successor of the next super series look like because 720s has the best design of all time in my opinion. Fucking insane
Agree about the carbon, just buy the standard with axle lift as it looks better & makes 0% difference in yr lap times with or without the overpriced carbon bits
The 570 was over-all good, I needed the doors slightly realigned because they were rubbing (a hand built car thing I guess) and sometimes it wouldn’t start without having to close door and lock unlock.. though it was an early 16’ car, many people have had much worse, though my 720 had way more issues, it seems with Mac there’s an element of luck with each car :).
@@Driver_88thanks for the reply, I have heard the 570s models need to be bought from 2018 onwards and bought well from people who have maintained them properly.
I would agree later the better for production year. Yes there are many now ruined ones due to 'tuners' working on them trying to get 250HP more out of a car that most can barely use properly with 600hp.
I love the look of the McLarens but for me, they will be stay as the poster and dream car. I’ve gotten too old to get in and out of a car like that. I will stick with the reliability of the Porsche

Hey, the wheel you're showing at 2:12 is also the vortex just with a different (and the best looking i may say) finish :)
Yes the stock turbine wheel looks different, sorry wasn’t edited in correctly :)
Handsome timepiece you have there!
Thanks mate!
you deserve more subscribers!
Thanks Theo!

great video, however, the dealer didn't put the plate straight, my ocd just went crazy!!!
Trust me you aren’t the only one! :)

What a car👌 Yeah not sure about the spec though 😅
How was it to be back behind the wheel of a McLaren?
Missed experiencing many of the unique features that make McLaren so good

Carbon bonnet looks like crap
@@1bluensx Agree looks out of place, the 750 looks great with just one nice colour and contrasting brake callipers that's it
Idk, I like it color & all,I guess maybe I'd have to see it in you're spec.
How did you find the 570s? Reliable?

A fair assessment :)
McLaren > Ferrari.
Also because hydraulic steering rack and carbon tub standard
Those and a few other features that are just so excellent in a Mac
Ferrari overrated for real
Question to the editor: what polariser nd combo do you use? 🤪
The reliability……….😢
RHD cars are SILLY 😅
Look I agree, if we had LHD drive cars here they would more than likely be cheaper to import
The sound on this video is terrible
