The rawest track Pac ever made... this makes Hit Em Up sound like he was in a calm laid back mood when he recorded it... love that you can just hear the anger in his voic... RIP Pac
I still wonder to this day, exactly WHY so many folks regard "Hit 'em up", as the ultimate "diss" song, when it clearly pales in comparison to this song. Obviously, those who do regard that song as more of a disrespectful track, than this one here, must hadn't, or haven't, heard this joint. I remember first hearing the "OG" songs of Pac's 8n 1998, and for that time period, this song was as disrespectful as disrespectful can be. Homie went in and spared no words in that studio. Rest in peace to Tupac AND Prodigy. Two great, serious minded emcees, both taken away, way too soon.

"most people these days never even heard the original songs of Pac" Yes that is a damn shame but that's life. "Very irritating when people change the origin of his music. once you touch the original with remixes it becomes dead" That I don't agree with. Yes a lot of people have produced absolute trash using his lyrics for sure, But when done right his content is breathed new life! And his name is kept in the lime light as he wanted. I'll even go as far to say that one or two mixes are actually better than the original! But the down side is all the morons slinging trashy bullshit around. I've been a fan of 2pac's work since 1994/5, But I enjoy the revamps when they get it right :)
