This is a blues song in rap form. Listen carefully and you can feel it. He would have been one hell of a blues man if he had been born in 1941 instead of 1971.
I started listening to pac since i was 13yo.. Im going on 33 this year and this is the first time ive heard this version.. Blew me away the difference. Rest easy 2pac
I’m white as you can be. I’m not from where Pac is from. I don’t claim to understand him or his life. I like heavy metal and hard rock mostly. This is still incredible music to me. The truth.
Tupac's music transcends and is timeless. No matter your race, religion, age he has a song for everyone, for each mood and emotion you feeling. True legend.
Truth to the fullest, the realest explanation I ever seen... He indeed got a track for every race every mood every party every situation he's got at least 3 tracks fitting the situation.... Who did this in history of music?!!!
Listened to tons of Pac's songs but Bury me a G always stands out as the best, probably because of the hard rapping over a dope, mellow beat from the Isley brothers. ❤
Tupac has got to be one of the most if not the most prolific rap artist of all times this man has been deceased for over 25 years and I’m still finding music he recorded that I have never heard I am 39 years old and have been listening to 2Pac since I was nine years old.
@@bryanvega8097 bro I had all the release and unreleased music in my CD collection years ago went through some things where I hit hard times, and was homeless and lost at all still regret that to this day.
This is why 2pac is my favourite rapper of all time because even if he did collabs with other artist he would always have his solo written lyrics everytime ❤ RIP Tupac
This beat with the Isley brothers sample is one of the greatest I’ve ever heard. A lot of emcees killed this beat, but no one better than Pac… Pac will always be my favorite emcee. I have so many fond memories, driving around aimlessly in my very first car, a red 97 mustang.. just a young teenaged man tryna find my way. The cd that spent the most time in rotation was Tupac’s Me Against The World album. I’m pretty sure I lost my virginity with that cd in the deck 😆 I don’t exactly recall, but the first time I ever got laid was in that car, and if my memory serves me right, I think I had the song “Temptations” by Pac playing. All I know is, I spent many days and nights driving around, either solo or with my boys or with some chicks, and Pac never let me down 😆 always made those moments that much more special. Good times, bad times, it didn’t matter. Even the many times I got locked up, I would recite Pac songs to myself to stay sane and keep my mind busy. It was my only form of entertainment.. cuz I need music or I lose my mind.. but yeah, I just have so much gratitude for Tupac’s music. I have a very wide ranging appreciation for all kinds of music, but mainly 90s to early 2000s hip hop and r&b, as well as 90s and early 2000s rock, nu metal, screamo, emo, shoegaze, etc… but out of all of the musicians I love, Tupac is among the artists who have had the most impact on me emotionally. Also, I just saw that they’re FINALLY making some headway in his murder investigation. It’s about time! I really hope he finally gets the justice he’s owed!
@@eiffelpex I believe it was either UA-cam when it first got poppin or limewire. It was on a couple burnt CDs You fuck wit this version? I’m 30 so this is the only version I truly gravitated to.

Fun Fact, this is not the original. This was actually recorded after the Thug Life Version as 2Pac was still considering the song for his original solo album concept "R U Still Down" & "Stay True". You can tell this was recorded after the Thug Life version because the ending of the 4th verse on The Thug Life take had a adlib of Pac saying "real niggas turn to bustas bury me a g". You can hear this part under the ending of the 4th verse on this take. If this was recorded first, that would not have been recorded yet. You can hear it at 3:54
2pac was my favorite when I was young. After he died and I grew up a little , it dawned on me that there were so many more talented lyricists. Now as I look back though- his music stands up the best to time.
I agree All Pac cut verse shouldn't be removed and just let it in released version. They should combine all Pac cut verse with Mopreme, Stretch and Big Syke verse which were added later in released version so the duration would be long.
I went and got a womn from Mexico. That girl loves me. Cooks for me, keeps my house clean, saves money, content with little. She is not submissive, we are a team. 12 years strong. Stop fucking with these entitled American broads, and mabey they will change.
