my dream bike is not a BMW S1000R or anything fancy my dram bike is to be able to build a old one up and make it my own just like you did here. beautiful job and beautiful bike. one day when i can collect the finances i will begin my own cafe project and you really inspired me with this. thank you
Look, I just bought a CB750 for $600, of course transforming it to a cafe racer will be way more, but its a work in progress, if you go to ebay, yu can find bikes from $400, you might need to work on the motor but thats part of the journey, I guess what I am saying, coming from a Harley with almost half its value in aftermarket parts put into it, these should prove most rewarding at a reasonable price and btw, I will trust any map bike even if its 35 years old over a new harley once its tuned up properly. Go for your dream! you only live once!
How in the f**k do 185 people not like this video?!?!?! Beautiful motorcycle and an inspiring vid. It's getting me out in the garage to start working on my project. Love the way you designed the tail section.
Outstanding work! Gorgeous. I really like how you kept the four pipe exhaust...always thought that was one of the features that made these CBs so attractive. Well done.
Working on a 83 Honda 650 Nighthawk into a cafe racer, gave me lots of inspiration my friend......you bike is slick my friend, only haters have so much envy!!! Good tune to boot!!
I am a huge Chris Rea fan and have been for many long years. This track is "Working On It". Found on "New Light through Old Windows" his wonderful best of album which I proudly own on CD, vinyl and cassette ! Like the bike too !
Nice. Did similar back in 1978 with my 750/4 K2 ie chrome can cover, engine casings and matt black fins + chrome fork stanchions. But kept the rest original. As someone mentioned, if they are the original pipes = worth big bucks. Seriously considering buying another after all this time. One of the true 70's classic bikes. Good one.
One of the most beautiful cafe racer I ever saw on the face of youtube! Great job man, absolute great! Clean line, well integrated turn signals and headlight, awesome bike!
THANK YOU! The main reason of posting this video was to share the enjoyment of bringing a salvaged bike back to life w/ people who have the same interest.
Great music and Nice job! This is one of my favorite bikes, 16 years and 3 rebuilds on one, I rode the hell out of it! CB750 engine in a hard tail chopper frame. Yeah we rode raced them babies! lol
Young Man, if you're not proud of the work and how it turned out, I'd be WAY MORE than happy to take it off your hands!!!! Kinda reminds me of '74 750/4 I use to own a long, long time ago. Mine was raked out further in the front and I had the foot controls on the passenger pegs. She ran "like a cats ass on fire"!!! Nice job!
Nice job. I'm old enough to remember when these bikes first came out. A friend of mine had a gold 1970. I had a 79 750K. Many consider the 69 CB750 the first super bike. Hard to disagree with that.
I easily vote your bike as THE MOST beautiful cb750 project hands down and no bullshit. The look of the bike is absolutely amazing, I cant like it enough. Its sick!!!
Wow! I can only imagine the amount of work that goes in this, its a very nice bike. I just sold my 1974 CB550K one day il get another one and if I am lucky it will be as cool as yours.
A Suzuki GT750 4LS front drum brake would be the finishing touch.. Love your work on the seat an keeping the original exhausts, fuel and oil tank. I would have chosen the original headlamp, but hey, that's okay as well ! Superb !!!
respect to the guys that have the patience to work on import bikes. the pretty woman in the video improved everything and the bike looks good . thumbs up
I used to own a CB 750 SuperSport, got it half wrecked and kept it running for years... I think it was a '79, DOHC? Still had both the kick and electrical start, dual front disc's, comstar wheels, and the longer higher capacity gas tank. Aftermarket exhaust, jet kit for the carbs, and K&N filters with 3/4" velocity stacks if memory serves me right. It was a great "sleeper" bike. I could kick myself for losing it. Excellent project and beautiful result. ~ S ~
This is the Porsche 356 outlaw of bikes dude! It is absolutely beautiful.
This bike is pure art. I applaud your skills and vision.
I've been riding for 21 years but only now considering a Cafe build project. Thanks for showing the whole project.

So nice to see a build that retains the stock exhaust, first things to be tossed out usually. Adds to the over all beauty of the bike. Bravo!

like how you did a cafe but also still maintained the original lines of the bike. Really well done. Good Job.
Wow...old school at it's finest! Great craftsmanship, good sound of the bike. Hope there is more to come...
Awesome work! brings back memories. got my '76 almost ready.
I've never said this about a cafe because i think they are all awesome and unique in their own way but that thing is perfect. Great job!

Sebastián Demaría"first" not second. the 69 750 was definatly the first super bike.
