I use the renogy mppt dcdc charger. It connects to the van battery as part of the dcdc charger and it charges both the leisure battery and starter battery. It works brilliantly.
Also I have both those black things on my windscreen on my relay. No drain issues and I also have 2 extra trackers installed.
