Hi Dave, thanks for all the great videos, both helpful and entertaining, if you could just advise about the plug and play 240v hookup, I noticed it didn’t have a dedicated earth you need to fit to the van so presumably it earths through the hookup point on a campsite? Not heard of this before? Also does this unit have a built in MCB & RCD like other consumer units you can buy that you would earth directly to the van? Cheers Mark
I remember when I bought the previous camper and this one. Really started to pull me down a bit, lots of research, so many different ones etc etc. Just get Merc Sprinter 🤣🤣
Great update on the van Dave! Some real gains made on it there! It won't be too long before it's all complete now 😂 That electric hookup kit is very easy looking too!
Good work mate, great space, will you still have standing room when its done? Exciting times....can't wait. Big pat on the back. Love & light from rainy Abertawe. ( the sea looks spectacular in storms ) 💜🏴🌻
Jeeze Dave, your certainly not hanging about with this build. Fair play to you. I hated the insulating stage but hey ho looks like you have all the fun stuff to come now 😁 Looking forward to seeing Vansexual out and about soon & also to your camping trip. Cheers 🍻
Hey both, vansexual is coming on, potentially slotting into the non binary category but hoping to transition fully with the next 6 weeks 🤣🤣 Thanks guys. Ah the trail last weekend was a total nightmare 🤣🤣
@@DaveOutdoors Oh wow. Only 6 more weeks and they may identify as a camper 😂 or maybe a Van with windows🤔 its good to have options I guess. We're just watching it on Shropshire lads Channel. The Heavens have just opened ⛈
So many double entendre opportunities in that video. Knob twiddling being just one. Nice gimble. Will you be using that for yours and Gordon's only fans page?
Be honest when that can rolled away you said a naughty word didn't you😂😂😂 So you finally saw the light and got something bigger than the vivaro 😂. Actually you've gone even bigger than me. Mines L2h2 To be fair you've also cracked on with it. I've had mine over a year and probably just ahead of this video. I've done quite a few things differently mind you.
Hi Joanie. I haven't came across them sold separately as these were purchased as part of the kit. I'm sure if you reach out to the company directly, they may be able to inform you more on the sale of individual parts. Many thanks Dave
Adhesive closed cell foam is a vapor barrier 🤷♂️ taping is unnecessary. Edges are already sealed by adhesive. Compressing loft insulation eliminates its R value significantly.
Hi Do you need some great vehicle lighting to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro auto lighting company for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Dave the van has come on leaps and bounds mate. Full credit to you
Hey Steve. Thanks so much mate. It's getting there, few tedious jobs done this weekend. Looks different again 🤣🤣
Great video mate 😃 that plug and play hook up unit looks good 👍 looming forward to your dedicated electrics video lol I need it 😂
Cheers Brendan. Absolutely, the plug & play kit is awesome mate, so simple.
🤣🤣 yes mate " I'll try " and make a decent electrics video 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Dave,
Regards the 240v plug and play, do the blue plugs have a name and have you come across them sold separately.
Thanks
Joanie

What are the benefits to remove the struts? A lot of people don’t, but I’m considering it
Gives you more clearance if you're putting a double bed in the same way I have. If you keep it in, there's a chance your noggin will touch it
Got a bit of a set on there David 😅
Haven't I just pal 🤣🤣🤣
