I just paid $900 for one. I wanted one so bad. Learned that Ruger is not manufacturing revolvers right now due to labor shortage/fakedemic. I wanted this particular gun for the same reason you did. It shoots 357. Also, I noted you pull back on the single action correctly using your support hand. Great video.

Hey thanks for the video i have been trying to decide on which revolver to get to compliment my Henry in 357Mag? I own lets just say a few Ruger firearms and just love them and would put them up against any Glock for reliability! So of course as im ,being a bit of a traditionalist by wanting to carry a cowboy gun with the whole cowboy holster to learn quick draw and all that is really for my own self defense as i prepare to buy some acreage in a place that will be mostly wild. The guns i will be carrying will be for self defense agaainst prestors like American Mountain lions and bear or even packs of wilves. I feel 357Mag would be a large enough caliber if i hve a 10rd henry loaded along with 5 in the Ruger. Although i do have a 45/70 Marlin i cold carry but it only holds for and if i get nervous while a bear is charging me i would want more then 4rds between me and that bear! lol More effective for the task but i would be shi**ing my pants the whole time! hahaha Now when we are traveling to find the acreage i use the 45/70 and my wife carrys the Henry and we "always" walk any land we may buy "together" only! It is getting to the point that we have to go back home and shop online and thats not fun! Trying to buy good land and not get ripped off via the internet is the best way to do it! :>/ But we may have no choice? I live in one of the bluest if not bluest state of the Union and i fear the state may start to burn soon. For now we live in the largest Red County and the police and citizens are mutually supportive! Even our local National Guard are home grown and family members of our local population so we have them on the side of right and justice! So that alone may give me the time ot get my family a place to flee too when the state starts to fall to the left fully! Our states leader has stated on National T.V. that he feels only the Military and Law Enforcement should be permitted any kind of firearms at all,all while letting out child murderers and violent crinals out of prison early due to C19?!?!?!?!?? He is just as guilty as Cuomo is of the deaths of thousands of My states citizens and my mother was one of them! Yet you hear nothing about it in the media!? My state is one of "the" most corrupted in our country! Theres no "justice" left in N.J. and Commrad Murphy is stripping us of more and more each quarter! Willing to sign any and "all" 1st and 2nd Amendment controls put on his desk!!! The one thing i can be proud of is my district removing the 2nd most powerful LEftist in the state! Since he was at one time my districts elected criminal! Yet the fact North Jersey is bbasically Southern New York is why Commrad Murphy is still in power! I hope one day our state can split into two and those of us in the Southern 1/2 can live again in a "free" state? Our history has shown multiple times south Jersey has tried to secede from the North as Dakoda and the Carolina's did and so forth. Bacck then it was because of different views and cultural belifs so as today the same reasons apply yet its far from ever happening. So the next best plan is ,I sold my house while we live in my wifes childhood and paid off home while i search for 50acres+ for a homestead and place away from people in the far off wonderlands of W.V. or maybe eastern T.N. or K.Y. or even western N.C.? In the mountain's some place!?! After your video here i have decided to buy one of these and a Conversion cylinder for my Replica Pietta 1858 New Army Revolver ro compliment my Henry and Marlin! Of course the 1858 in 45LC will go with my Marlin! lol No cowboy hat or boots but a cowboy holster "yes"! lol The quicj draw will be in case a large Predator gets in close before i notice it! hehe great Video Thanks again and sorry for my life history! lol

I prefer the 5.5 or 4⅝ in either the stainless or black with wood grips

I wouldn’t call the Blackhawk a cowboy, more like a SA pistol.
The Vaquero would be considered a cowboy gun (barley)

Does the accuracy suffer between the .38spl/.357 mag and the 9MM?
Since it takes. 357/.38 it should be able to take .380 in the 9mm cylinder. Same diameter just 2mm shorter. Have you tried it?
Won't work.. the 380 will fall into the cylinder too far
