- Another episode of “Tips for Every Survivor” is here! In this series, I share some of the best tips and tricks for playing as different survivors in Identity V, the popular asymmetrical horror game. Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate player, you will find something useful in these videos to improve your gameplay and have more fun in the game.
In this part, I will cover some of the survivors that I haven’t talked about yet, such as the Barmaid, Composer, Professor and the Thief. These survivors have unique abilities and playstyles that can make them very effective in different situations. I will show you how to use their items, skills and strategies to escape from the hunter and help your teammates.

Tips for Female Dancer right here !
1. In the begging of the match , u can hold the Female Dancer music tool box to look around the area. This tip help u to look for the hunter if u got chased first.
2. U should put her fast music tool box down the pallet nearby the cipher . This can help for ur decoding and if the hunter found u first.
3. U must now how to use her music in the right way . If u see a teammate nearby , I recommed u should put down the fast music tool box bc this can helps the teammate kiting or using can both music tool box to fight again hunter cheap hit damage Example like : Galatea Statue , BonBon boom , Violinist Music Fonts ,..U can use slow music tool box for the slow hunter Example : Leo , Geisha , Wuchang,.. or use fast music to hunter who's very fast Example : Jack the Ripper , Mad Eye or Naiad.
4. Her music tool box can also very useful for rescue to. U can use fast music to again strong camper Example : Hastur , Bonbon , Galatea , Joker ,..
5. Female Dancer music box also very helpful for teammate and herseft Example l: Opening exit gate , supporting, decoding,..
6. Her spinning also very BROKEN bc u can use her spinning to jukes the hunter *Notes : U can only do this on wide , opening area bc her spin can easily spin into a object*

Honestly, the tips in the video are useful. There are some I disagree but this is my personal preference and dont need to follow it.
I actually recommend not sending a letter to the kiter (unless the kiter is yourself or someone who really needs the kiting support like mech or mind’s eye). Of course if you are in higher tiers (Unicorn or higher) or if you know the hunter spawn close to you/kiter, you can immediately provide the kiting letter.
With how strong cipher rush is and especially since you aren’t always sure how randos will fair against the hunter, it is far better to actually push for cipher machines to pop. The faster the ciphers pop, the less time the kiter actually has to kite. Usually, these letters go to the rescuers/harassers first as they have the decoding debuff, then I’ll send kiting/rescue letters. Also, if they can finish their cipher, that means either 3-2 ciphers remain and it will go pretty fast into late game.
As to when to send the decoding letter first but I wait til either first survivor is kiting or the rescuer if nobody has pinged (as most hunters wont chase the rescuer first esp merc). And as the video says- do not send the letter to the kiter if they are already hit. That letter never makes it to them in time. (Though I also disregard this rule to immediately give the survivor once they are rescued from the chair so they have more kiting ability)
I also send dungeon letters too if there are 3-2 survivors left to let everyone know where the dungeon is.
If I’m decoding, my usually method is:
1. Decoding to Rescuer/harasser (always check to see who brought tide, they get decoding letter first)
2. Rescue Letter to Rescuer/Kiting Letter to Kiter if on full health or no better letter to send (if decoding letter again, send it to the other person who didnt receive the buff)
3. (Tends to be around 3-2 cipher mark), send Dungeon Hope Letter if possible to the other person decoding. This is more flexible as you can send the rescue letter to the other person if they need to rescue, decoding letter to push cipher rush, but dungeon is more preferred to help prepare for end game.
4. (End Game) usually everyone else has the dungeon letter so I usually send out the dungeon letter to kiter if i’m not sure if they know or a kiting letter if they are either close to exit gate or dungeon.
Its later in the game you can be more flexible with your letters so it’s not a must do, but this is my personal recommendation.
As for your Wick and when to send him out, i recommend to do some practice and always turn your camera around and aim your dog to ensure it’s always going in your desire direction. It’s best to send Wick out when the hunter is either about to turn a corner, going down a straight path where hunter can’t avoid Wick, or doing some interaction like vaulting or breaking a pallet. It buys you enough time to gain some distance and almost always you can get the hunter.
Personal personal web changes on map or sometimes hunter if I can guess which hunter it is, but I tend to bring flywheel/borrowed time. Broken windows is good as well though the letters contained essentially a knock off broken windows letter for 90 seconds.

as someone who plays prof, id like to note, that he depends on ping a lot.
so if you have high ping, or even yellow ping, its better to shield prematurely, as hunters with under 100 ping can just hit you thru your shield or even cancel the ability, since their hit somehow "registers" before their attack animation ends. so even if you know their animation and use the shield pixel perfect to block the hit, it will just say "cant use ability lol" and you die. sometimes they can even hit you thru your shield, despite it being up, depending on ping.
hunters know about this too, so theyll try to bait out your shield
For the item combo you can DROP the controller and it will still open the door to have 3 items 1 being the controller and the 2 you have it’s very strong when you use that if your unsure if not will live
An even better way to surprise them!

An update for player who might try Cowboy. In some videos you may find, it might say balloon rescue can be done without auto-aim. But, this has changed and you must lock onto the surv before you rescue them.
More tips for cowboy about balloon rescue:
1.Aim high for survivor (blue outline). If you aim too low, you might flip over the hunter (red outline).
2.The dot needs to be “fully” locked on survivor, or else the lasso will missed (or flip over the hunter).
I will share other things I know about cowboy in my comment below.
Some hunters are smart and know how to counter cowboy’s balloon rescue. These tricks can help:
1.The survivor needs to die “far from chairs”. (DON’T die near chairs)
2.Some hunters would drop survivor in 2-3 seconds. Hold your lasso, keep your distance and don’t get hit.
3.Many hunters would drop when they see cowboy, so lassoing from behind “might” help (in some scenarios).
If someone is dead on chair and is about to be picked up, get so close to hunter then back up while aiming above them. The moment they swing at you lasso the survivor getting a free balloon rescue.
also make sure to learn fast lassos as it is could help you in certain situations

Also for barmaid, carry 1 its really useful and predictable to try and flywheel if your drink is almost over. i see many hunters blink hit just to avoid barmaid from finishing her drink.

As a B badge Ada I can give you healing advise!
Ik lots of matches Ada uses her hp for her own, but you should heal rescuer if he's far enough and hunter won't try double down. If it was the last chair, rescuer can live longer, if it wasn't, he can try saving again!
One thing im a fan of when playing ada is to rescue + bodyblock and then whistle someone else if they're injuried so that u get someone fully healed while also making urself 2hit again by just getting up :) and even if u get chaired, that just means our other teammate who was already chaired is safe

As a postman main, I get so annoyed when other postman mains send the decoding letter first and then whoever gets it, gets kite. I definitely got excited when the postman tutorial was actually good!
