Also Jose could be dead but not because of Patricia. Patricia was introduced for her ability to contact the dead, Guessing they all see their dead loved ones through her the experimenters used that to test their inherent evilness / conscience by gauging their reaction. They thought Vera would be evil and violent but she wasn't, she relives her sisters death and suffers a mental breakdown. Vera's reaction shows she feels remorse making her "evil" levels lower than expected. Jose MAY have lead harassment against Patty along with Vera due to an agreement. and Edgar was just, kinda there. but later vera and edgar blamed jose for kevins death ( kevins not actually dead apparently) and jose did an "early quit"
Read his letter, those say that he jumped onto the fire because a letter with one of HIS secrets was there and due to how the character is, he didnt wanted anyone to get to know what that secret was in case the letter survived the fire, so he jumped to make sure the secret would stay like that, a secret.
honestly the lore is sick, I wish people would stop babying the characters though since most act like everyone is super innocent especially the survs when about 70% of the surv cast has at least committed murder..

I always thought that Luca andrew and Victor would be a trio or team of friends that would.overcome.the hunter games together in victory, but when victor dies it's all down hill for them to lose a good guy and live with the loss I can say the same for Edgar because 9f the curse
Ada Mesmer also died apparently, there are documents that mention the death of a young couple and it matches the happenings of her game since the document says the boyfriend died first before the game even started. Leo Beck also most likely died since his latest character day letter mentions he was punished for not eliminating Emma Woods (Lisa Beck) with incineration.

Which is kind of crazy. I still have in-mind the theory where Lucky Guy is also Orpheus and it's the reason he appears in the first group of ppl. The only odd thing it's his birthday

I'm not gonna lie i feel like the story of identity v is I big reason why some players are still here their going through with some good stuff but I feel like they don't have some or maybe a lot ahead of the story figured out so that's probably why it's been so delayed,but honestly it take so many unpredictably jaw dropping turns and I'm here for it

The fact that Margie has a Mission where she has to be the sole survivor of the match (the only Survivor with a Mission that does not require winning or tying a game) yet died in canon kinda bugs me. Such a unique detail that some picked up and even theorized that she might be one of the winners, but nah, killed. Hope she returns as a hunter like Joker, that'd be sick.
@@corylus1947 you are right, thats the reason, she was the only person other than Weeping Clown in the circus when it burned that survived, Soul Weaver was out because Bernard told her to take a little vacation, Acrobat was out buying materials for his bombs and Wildling had already faked his dead and was living in the nature away from the circus.
I wish there were more idv lore videos out there, because it's somewhat difficult to find the lore between the letters, deductions, and other places, but God damn is it so good 😭

I'm sorry to say, but Helena most likely did not survive :') she was in the same game as Galatea and most likely met the same fate as the "Unamed nurse" (7:03). Mind's eyes 4th letter implies she's Galas 3rd victim. "A Carefully Pasted Piece of Braille in a Writing Pad (2023) ... When he picked up the hunting rifle, I uncovered the truth of fear. When you found the whistle, I touched the mask of goodwill. When I entered the study, I knew the truth of human nature. Now... Gala.. The game is at its end.. When we push open the door that puts an end to all nightmares, What will we see behind it? Will it be the real you or the real me? (There are bloodstains at the edges of the piece and an Italian phrase written in an exaggerated cursive below it - Muse no. 3)" She's also refered to as "Sulluvans prey" in her 3rd letter. Her 3rd letter also mentions Helena falling for Sculptors trap "- She gradually fell into No. 0-0-4's trap and became the only punisher in the game. When the "truth" was exposed, the shock from the cognitive deviation and immense guilt shattered No. 0-0-3's protective shell for her personality.-" So while no death has been confiremd, Helena surviving is unfourtunately unlikely ;w;
I just wish Idv's plot was more cohesive. Because right now it's just a big confusing mess that can be grasped at like straws. I get that there's a lot of fun in piecing together a mystery, but when every single element of the game is up for debate and there's practically no steady footing, it starts getting a bit ridiculous

Hella agreed. I’ve been reading character birthday letters the past few days and all of it feels like it’s trying to be cool and mystical to the detriment of cohesion. When reading aesops birthday letters it sounded like he killed Victor but then in victors birthday letters he apparently actually died in a fire. Not to even mention the amount of vague talk of other characters. In some stories they’re described well enough to assume who’s who but in others, for example Helena’s, it just says “he” with no other explanation. It’s apparently meant to be orpheus in her story but I haven’t gotten to his stories yet so it felt like an immediate dead end…and for some other characters there’s no conclusion to who they’re referencing. The story is very fun to read through and see the connections but other times it’s really frustrating and feels like a big pile of “what do i even do with this information?” The biggest example of how confusing the lore is, is the match with Patricia. I have no clue what happened during her match despite reading everything about the characters involved lmaoo
Right especially when the main story doesn't even have a consistent update I think at this point the devs don't care that much for the story but for the profit instead so they just throw in tid bits of lore every other month or year
I have researched that game to an extreme lol. I assume when she cursed them to see dead relatives edgar saw ella, vera saw her sister, etc. thats why they targeted Patricia

You know what is the saddest part that you can't win this game even if you survive because you get put in another group emma, murro and Orpheus won their games but they were put in another group right after they won emma started to lost her memory and forgot everything about her mother and father and probably was killed , murro was killed by naib in his second game, and Orpheus was experiment on to the point that he became the nigthmare so pretty much you can't win
from what i think so far Helena was actually a hunter at game 0 with Ada Emil Galatea and Orpheus as survivors, Emil and Ada were dead before the game even started and Orpheus with Galatea were spared by Helena.
Isn’t Orpheus the conductor in all this? I assumed from the alice and Orpheus story that he is running the games. (Unless this info wasn’t out when u commented haha, or I’m just getting it wrong)
Probably the latter because it's engraved into your head subconsciously that all Survivors are supposed to be teammates so they essentially broke a very important kind of trust.
It’s strangely funny how the survivors out of *literally everybody in the manor,* Helena got out/is still participating while being VERY MUCH blind. Kevin also survives, for not being a racist 💀
Well, there's only like a 20% Helena survived, in the latest birthday's cards mentions that she falled in the trap of Galatea and her card is covered with blood and at the end is written in Italian "Muse n°3" (people think that is Galatea who wrote that). Maybe there is a possibility that she fought back and escaped being hurt, but I don't think so, the worst part was that it was her last day in the manor and she was almost out of the game.

Girl this video is amazing, is clear your efforts to investigate IDV lore ( and damn it's way obscure then i thought ☠️ ), and i got pretty surprised how Patricia ( probably ) killed these people, and even being her main i had no idea that she was related to First Officer ( like, i know that in her lore she didn't get along with 2 survivors because they're racist/xenophobic, i already imagined Painter and Perfumer with this kind of behavior, but First Officer? He didn't look like it to me ), would like to see if she survived or if she died at the Manor's Game too, btw, these survivors that probably survived ( like Gardener and TME ), you think that they can appear someday as normal humans ( just like Orpheus when he was "novelist" ) or if they're trapped somewhere at the Manor? And other thing that are more a suggestion ( you can take it only if you want because i got curious about it ), is that on characters 3rd anniversary letters ( at least for survivors ), i noticed that it looks like a scientific report, and survivors are classed by numbers and treated as experience subjects by this anonymous person that talks about their behavior during the games, you have a theory for it or are you still working on it?

It feels weird to see that patricia betrayed the Chloe, Edgar AND Jose? Canonically it’s our cowboy man that was in her game and he sympathized with her while Patricia saw him as a sinful soul So either patricia was actually a hunter in that game, meaning cowboy was the sole survivor in that game, or he was the one cursed, not Jose, or the manor owner mixed things up a bit by having 5 survivors, which would be weird because the hunter probably just not existed. Maybe it was a blackjack type of mode? Update: so I looked back, he really was in their game, however there are more details: -Cowboy was spared by Patricia, clearly she was in a good mood after cursing everyone -Wu Chang was canonically in their game, they were in the umbrella that Jose wanted to get, the white guard may have used in power on him and then Patricia did the final kill -Patricia canonically threw the match late game -this is one of the few games that had 5 survivors, maybe one of the 3 (Chloe, Edgar, or Jose) was unfortunately caught in the crosshairs as it stated that some were rather cruel (probably racist) to patricia with the exception of the cowboy, who respected her, which is probably why he lived
Is it not confirmed that Naib and William were both hunted and executed by Bane after the game? Naib particulary because he cheated in the game by killing his teammates I think
No, they both survived and escaped the manor, currently what happened to them it's unknown but they were brought back to the estate and were punished. It's believed that they possibly became hunters but nothing was confirmed yet.
Curious fact, even if Mercenary didnt killed Explorer and Magician, he had already doomed everyone to be punished, because one of the rules was that they couldnt exit the manor, which everyone end up doing since the dead boar was outside the manor, so i wonder what would have happened.
well, Violetta was canonically a friendly hunter, and well, Naib was a mercenary for a reason...maybe Violetta will, but she was limbless, and they can't exactly put her on a wheelchair, which means if she ever becomes a survivor, her "running animation" will be changed into something else instead I can't see Naib as hunter though, and its not planned for him either

Second essence and third essence are the continuation of the Ashes of Memory. Norton is in the second essence and third essence should be Little Girl's older counterpart as rescuerer

havent played idv in a little under a year. saw this in my recommended and thought id check anyway just to see if i missed anything storywise edit: jeez so many people died in the manor while i was gone...
I stopped playing a long time ago and i really loved the stories especially Leo and Gardeners. Thing is it got stagnant for so long and the weird little stories that come with each skin confused me so much that i ultimately game up. Id love to see a complete timeline of every detail video
The manor characters, as shown in the game, play different games but do not escape as if it were a loop, as if they were revived and put in another group without awareness of what happened only with memories before reaching the manor
Please credit the wiki for this information; the small team that works on it constantly, works very hard to research, dig and compile all of this for the community for easy consumption. They have even gone down to hunt the smallest of things because they really care! Where are Cowboy and Forward I thought they died from poisoning or something. Did they survive? If so I'm happy cause I find them to be the coolest survivors in my opinion.
William wasn't killed by the poison. He was manipulated by Naib into helping him kill Servias so he was later punished with Naib for "breaking the rules" of the game. Likely they were both killed by Bane because Naib killed Murro, Servias, and Kurt.
Cowboy didnt die! The poison wasn't actually poison and it just made kevin fell asleep. When he woke up he didnt remember anything, not even angelina, just some things about the manor game. So patricia and kevin survived this game!

But tis just my theory theres no proof at all, also i can see this behaviour from demi since she was inmune to the drugs they were using so maybe she was the most impulsive and would try to discover martha's identity like that

From what I understand, Enchantress wants to contact the deity, Papa Legba. But in order to do that, she has to sacrifice some sinful souls. So, I think that's what it means by "cursed" (I actually took it from the IDV Fandom wiki, eheh)

Helena letter mentions that Emil was shot to death by Orpheus and she speculates it was to protect them from him. Someone stole the whistle and Emil saw it and went "berserk" so he was shot. It's speculated that Orpheus is the one who stole it to begin with.

I haven't been able to play the game for a long time so i just had to follow the lore from the internet but everything was a bit too confusing. This video will help me a lot, thank you!
From what I've gathered from the comments, particia needed some 'sinful souls' to sacrifice to someone god-like. so when she came to manor, vera, jose,edgar were mean to her so she thought ' I can take their souls' and cursed them (cursed means she made them hallucinate their dead loved once like Vera's twin, Edgar's little sister, Jose's crews) which made vera and jose afraid of her. They planned to poison patricia by poisoning food, but kevin took the poison (the poison wasn't lethal, it was just a drug that makes you forget things) and fell asleep. When he woke up, most of his memory was erased (including Angelina, his dead fiance) except some of his manor games memories. Also kevin was always nice to patricia because she reminded him of angelina. In the end, patricia spared kevin, and they both most likely won their first game. Another theory is she didn't need any sinful souls, the manor brought her to make her use her magic or other people and see their reaction. Vera and jose were scared of patricia ( and thats valid because imagine you killed someone and now you're trying to keep it as a secret but then some magic lady comes and tells you that she can resurrect the person you killed, won't you be afraid of her?) So they tried to put her in a 'disadvantage' in the manor game, not kill her literally. ( so Neither patricia was the villain here, nor vera or jose were racists.)
Remove Naiad. In her recent letters, it implied she's a Deep One hybrid, and she didn't actually drowned and became a naiad. It was that her Deep One genes activated just in time, saving her from death. And add Naiad's mom, she was most likely captured and sacrificed by the Deep Ones.

I'm not gonna lie i feel like the story of identity v is I big reason why some players are still here their going through with some good stuff but I feel like they don't have some or maybe a lot ahead of the story figured out so that's probably why it's been so delayed,but honestly it take so many unpredictably jaw dropping turns and I'm here for it

The fact that Margie has a Mission where she has to be the sole survivor of the match (the only Survivor with a Mission that does not require winning or tying a game) yet died in canon kinda bugs me. Such a unique detail that some picked up and even theorized that she might be one of the winners, but nah, killed. Hope she returns as a hunter like Joker, that'd be sick.

I wish there were more idv lore videos out there, because it's somewhat difficult to find the lore between the letters, deductions, and other places, but God damn is it so good 😭

I just wish Idv's plot was more cohesive. Because right now it's just a big confusing mess that can be grasped at like straws.
I get that there's a lot of fun in piecing together a mystery, but when every single element of the game is up for debate and there's practically no steady footing, it starts getting a bit ridiculous

Hella agreed. I’ve been reading character birthday letters the past few days and all of it feels like it’s trying to be cool and mystical to the detriment of cohesion. When reading aesops birthday letters it sounded like he killed Victor but then in victors birthday letters he apparently actually died in a fire.
Not to even mention the amount of vague talk of other characters. In some stories they’re described well enough to assume who’s who but in others, for example Helena’s, it just says “he” with no other explanation. It’s apparently meant to be orpheus in her story but I haven’t gotten to his stories yet so it felt like an immediate dead end…and for some other characters there’s no conclusion to who they’re referencing.
The story is very fun to read through and see the connections but other times it’s really frustrating and feels like a big pile of “what do i even do with this information?”
The biggest example of how confusing the lore is, is the match with Patricia. I have no clue what happened during her match despite reading everything about the characters involved lmaoo

I think at this point the devs don't care that much for the story but for the profit instead so they just throw in tid bits of lore every other month or year

Edgar isnt dead, when it says cursed by Patricia it just means she made them see things. she made jose, vera, and edgar see their dead loved ones.
I have researched that game to an extreme lol. I assume when she cursed them to see dead relatives edgar saw ella, vera saw her sister, etc. thats why they targeted Patricia
i can’t recall when edgar’s latest birthday letter came out but he’s been confirmed to have been killed by patricia at his own request.

You know what is the saddest part that you can't win this game even if you survive because you get put in another group emma, murro and Orpheus won their games but they were put in another group right after they won emma started to lost her memory and forgot everything about her mother and father and probably was killed , murro was killed by naib in his second game, and Orpheus was experiment on to the point that he became the nigthmare so pretty much you can't win

from what i think so far Helena was actually a hunter at game 0 with Ada Emil Galatea and Orpheus as survivors, Emil and Ada were dead before the game even started and Orpheus with Galatea were spared by Helena.

Well, there's only like a 20% Helena survived, in the latest birthday's cards mentions that she falled in the trap of Galatea and her card is covered with blood and at the end is written in Italian "Muse n°3" (people think that is Galatea who wrote that).
Maybe there is a possibility that she fought back and escaped being hurt, but I don't think so, the worst part was that it was her last day in the manor and she was almost out of the game.
Only one of them died of old age damn

Girl this video is amazing, is clear your efforts to investigate IDV lore ( and damn it's way obscure then i thought ☠️ ), and i got pretty surprised how Patricia ( probably ) killed these people, and even being her main i had no idea that she was related to First Officer ( like, i know that in her lore she didn't get along with 2 survivors because they're racist/xenophobic, i already imagined Painter and Perfumer with this kind of behavior, but First Officer? He didn't look like it to me ), would like to see if she survived or if she died at the Manor's Game too, btw, these survivors that probably survived ( like Gardener and TME ), you think that they can appear someday as normal humans ( just like Orpheus when he was "novelist" ) or if they're trapped somewhere at the Manor? And other thing that are more a suggestion ( you can take it only if you want because i got curious about it ), is that on characters 3rd anniversary letters ( at least for survivors ), i noticed that it looks like a scientific report, and survivors are classed by numbers and treated as experience subjects by this anonymous person that talks about their behavior during the games, you have a theory for it or are you still working on it?

It feels weird to see that patricia betrayed the Chloe, Edgar AND Jose? Canonically it’s our cowboy man that was in her game and he sympathized with her while Patricia saw him as a sinful soul
So either patricia was actually a hunter in that game, meaning cowboy was the sole survivor in that game, or he was the one cursed, not Jose, or the manor owner mixed things up a bit by having 5 survivors, which would be weird because the hunter probably just not existed. Maybe it was a blackjack type of mode?
Update: so I looked back, he really was in their game, however there are more details:
-Cowboy was spared by Patricia, clearly she was in a good mood after cursing everyone
-Wu Chang was canonically in their game, they were in the umbrella that Jose wanted to get, the white guard may have used in power on him and then Patricia did the final kill
-Patricia canonically threw the match late game
-this is one of the few games that had 5 survivors, maybe one of the 3 (Chloe, Edgar, or Jose) was unfortunately caught in the crosshairs as it stated that some were rather cruel (probably racist) to patricia with the exception of the cowboy, who respected her, which is probably why he lived
It makes sense for Kevin since he has befriended a different race girl that unfortunately his parents killed off.
Oh man, if IDV got put in Dead meat channel, it's gonna take like 40 minutes+ to cover all of the deaths.

No, they both survived and escaped the manor, currently what happened to them it's unknown but they were brought back to the estate and were punished. It's believed that they possibly became hunters but nothing was confirmed yet.

well, Violetta was canonically a friendly hunter, and well, Naib was a mercenary for a reason...maybe Violetta will, but she was limbless, and they can't exactly put her on a wheelchair, which means if she ever becomes a survivor, her "running animation" will be changed into something else instead

Where are Cowboy and Forward I thought they died from poisoning or something. Did they survive? If so I'm happy cause I find them to be the coolest survivors in my opinion.
William wasn't killed by the poison. He was manipulated by Naib into helping him kill Servias so he was later punished with Naib for "breaking the rules" of the game. Likely they were both killed by Bane because Naib killed Murro, Servias, and Kurt.
Cowboy didnt die! The poison wasn't actually poison and it just made kevin fell asleep. When he woke up he didnt remember anything, not even angelina, just some things about the manor game. So patricia and kevin survived this game!

But tis just my theory theres no proof at all, also i can see this behaviour from demi since she was inmune to the drugs they were using so maybe she was the most impulsive and would try to discover martha's identity like that

From what I understand, Enchantress wants to contact the deity, Papa Legba. But in order to do that, she has to sacrifice some sinful souls. So, I think that's what it means by "cursed" (I actually took it from the IDV Fandom wiki, eheh)

Helena letter mentions that Emil was shot to death by Orpheus and she speculates it was to protect them from him. Someone stole the whistle and Emil saw it and went "berserk" so he was shot. It's speculated that Orpheus is the one who stole it to begin with.

From what I've gathered from the comments, particia needed some 'sinful souls' to sacrifice to someone god-like. so when she came to manor, vera, jose,edgar were mean to her so she thought ' I can take their souls' and cursed them (cursed means she made them hallucinate their dead loved once like Vera's twin, Edgar's little sister, Jose's crews) which made vera and jose afraid of her. They planned to poison patricia by poisoning food, but kevin took the poison (the poison wasn't lethal, it was just a drug that makes you forget things) and fell asleep. When he woke up, most of his memory was erased (including Angelina, his dead fiance) except some of his manor games memories.
Also kevin was always nice to patricia because she reminded him of angelina. In the end, patricia spared kevin, and they both most likely won their first game.
Another theory is she didn't need any sinful souls, the manor brought her to make her use her magic or other people and see their reaction. Vera and jose were scared of patricia ( and thats valid because imagine you killed someone and now you're trying to keep it as a secret but then some magic lady comes and tells you that she can resurrect the person you killed, won't you be afraid of her?) So they tried to put her in a 'disadvantage' in the manor game, not kill her literally.
( so Neither patricia was the villain here, nor vera or jose were racists.)

Remove Naiad. In her recent letters, it implied she's a Deep One hybrid, and she didn't actually drowned and became a naiad. It was that her Deep One genes activated just in time, saving her from death.
And add Naiad's mom, she was most likely captured and sacrificed by the Deep Ones.
