Regardless of the mistakes other people are making (call it stupidity or whatever you want), a lot of people with these dashcams seem to want to cause an accident. Despite the imminent hazard being clear as day they continue driving into it..some cases even accelerate into it.

I've found this. Many dashcam users are poor or nervous drivers. They probably bought them because they keep finding themselves in situations that they're the root cause of and they think the cam will afford some protection. The other crowd are the ones looking for trouble and speeding up to other cars and creating an incident.
Don't understand why these people in the camera cars leave it so late to brake, the whole thing of driving is being prepared for the worst all the time so if you feel like a car is going to do something stupid don't just lay on the horn, do something!

They always blame the other person. My perception of the highway code is give way to dickheads! Or am I wrong?
They cant just hard brake if someone is behind them. in most cases we cant see behind them. What if they brake and instead the person behind them slams into them.
The camera's are usually wide angel so it seems like they have time and aren't that close when in fact there's not much they can do. Also the fact that if they break hard suddenly the person behind them might hit them.
At 0:23 its poss as a warning the camera guy flashed the other guy who took it as 'allowing/requesting to pass'! Sounding a horn might have been better and would have saved the bumper and temper also!
There are lots of people worried about cars behind them (rightly or wrongly) but eg if a man or a dog walks into the road would you worry about the cars behind you, or themselve getting hit by cars behind them?. The thing is regardless of how you brake, the law depending on certain exceptions (eg cash for crash) will prosecute the driver behind you for failing to keep a safe distance!
And the insurance co of driver behind him will end up footing most of the 3vehicles repair bills, not to mention the headache you will have of trying to restore your renewal no-fault noclaim discount!
Regardless of your front end dashcam footage if insurance companies decide to split the payments by accepting third of blame your no claims discount will get chopped off too

Your driver didnt crash because of good driving. he didnt crash by sheer luck. swerving into the opposite lane with no clue as to what was there
Might not be the correct thing to do, but we don't know if he did that, or if he checked if there was any cars on the other lane. You should also note the major extra space to the left of him.
With the way he swerved into that lane it looked like a panic. We dont know if someone had to E-brake because of his move. Also if someone wants to come and brag about someones same driving they could atleast stick to the 3 second distance rule instead of 1.5.

The cars in front didn't have a chance, that is the point I'm making.
He didnt have time to react though he had no control and that was just a natural response. If he was driving properly at a safe distance he would have stopped in time and not risked a rear end at 70mph
I knew that first clip wasn't going to involve anyone else the moment I saw how fast he was riding. Clearly aqua planing is a foreign concept to some. Lucky for the pedestrian.

Watched two of these vids back-to-back and my stress level's going through the roof! A lot of the issues here are speed-related, ignorance of the High Way Code, and drivers'/riders' poor observation skills and lack of anticipation .

Typical Peugeot - Even after a lorry blocks it's way from going around the roundabout in the wrong direction, it continues unabated up the curb and over the grass.
It seems like the guy was French, it is a really common thing for non-British people to take the roundabout the wrong way. However, he is stupid for carrying on...

Well it's shame since I'm from Lancashire and I adore Yorkshire, but despite the nice places there such as York and Whitby, when Yorkshire's bad, it's really bad like Bradford and Hull. But there is come consolation since I think, apart from Lancaster, Preston and Clitheroe, Lancashire's absolute shit more so than Yorkshire on the whole that's for sure!
+Jimjamatic it's definitely nice having those places so close as the countryside is beautiful but unfortunately unless you win the lottery living there isn't a possibility! Some parts of Lancashire are nice though and Cumbria is idyllic so luckily we both have decent places not too far away!

I was on my motorbike two years ago behind a Merc. He looked into his mirrors to look at me behind him and drove into the back of a bus. I can still picture his expression as I drove past. Magical.

What the fuck was with that truck that crossed onto oncoming traffic for no reason
Driver over compensated for drifting over to the left. suspect he probably nodded off and was woken up by the rumble strips & jerked the wheel right, after that there was no stopping the truck. hope everyone was okay in that one, the red car must have had a hell of a whack.
It probably had a blowout on the right front.
In a video by Welsh Drives who does similar videos he said the driver fell asleep at the wheel and overcompensated. He was fired from the company obviously after this
Must say, that one struck me as being the most horrific. I've seen an out of control artic. Glad that from the other replies it appears no-one was badly hurt by this one. I imagine being in front of one is a tad sphincter-loosening.....

I had my first driving lesson on actual roads with my instructor, except the car wouldnt actually go forwards because my instructor didnt realise his foot was accidentally pushing the Breaks a little, so when i went to move forward we suddenly stopped in the middle of a junction thankfully the other cars were able to stop properly, nobody died or got injured thankfully 😅

I assumed you were implying that the cyclist should have stopped to let the car out.
Perhaps I was wrong to assume that your comment related to the video.
Maybe you could clarify what you meant by your comment then? I'm a cyclist myself, and I frequently wave people out at junctions, because I recognise that I'm slower traffic and they'll make better progress ahead of me.
It's just that as a fellow road user I have never seen a cyclist slow down at a junction as you say you do to allow cars in or out. as you do in a a car in slow traffic. Instead in my experience they filter round with out slowing down even though it can be dangerous doing so at a junction.

If they're 'filtering round', then they're bypassing stationary or slow moving traffic, so how could they let anyone out? The road is blocked by the very traffic that they are filtering past.
It is scary how trucks can pass so easily the security fences and hit the cars coming in front.
