Each Asscher Cut Size in this video is compared to this 1 Carat Diamond on a hand with a size 6 finger. This 1-carat diamond at Kay Jewelers like most Brick and Mortar jewelry stores is about $6600. Now also, on this video we take those diamonds and compare them to the exact same quality diamond from a website I will put in the description below this video. This 1-carat is $3100 so you'd save over $3,500 from my link below this video.
This is a .33 or 1/3 carat Asscher engagement ring on the hand. Compared to a 1-carat Asscher-shaped diamond it is very unimpressive, and you can barely tell it is even an emerald shape at this point. Another name for asscher diamonds are square emerald diamonds. You'd save close to $650 buying this diamond from the link in the description of this video.

If you ever redo this video, it would be really helpful if you could do the sizes 1.35, 1.5, 1.65, 2.25, please. I'm really interested in seeing the upper 1s compared against eachother

Asscher is actually MORE expensive. Only 2% of diamonds are cut into asschers. Rounds are everywhere. Asschers are one of the most expensive cuts.

This cut needs a large size diamond to look good. Plus top clarity and color is a must because of its less brilliant cut. Large size+ high clarity+ good color= lot of money😅😅😅

Kinny Salas look at Moissanite. We bought ours from Laraci Jewelers. Moissanite is a fraction of the cost and it looks better than any of our friends diamond rings and it’s eco friendly

I don't think the asscher sparkles more than the round tbh.

They do not sparkle more than rounds. You are correct.

I think asschers and emerald cuts are more known for being an "elegant" look, rather flash/sparkle. I do think you need a fairly large carat size to capture that elegance however. Just my opinion! I do have a large emerald cut aquamarine, and it is beautiful when kept clean, but when it not clean, it loses its zip. I have heard a few people say the same with asscher/emerald cut diamonds.

@@patpeifer7871 my jeweler also says emeralds and asschers show dust/dirt easier due to the step cut.
