- Actor George Mackay joins Jacob Stolworthy to discuss his latest film, Femme, which explores a drag performer who finds himself in a disturbingly intimate situation with his attacker.
Mackay reveals how he got into the character of Preston, an aggressive, closted gay man, whose masculinity “is so fragile, that if it gets punctured, that’s his entire being gone.”
Mackay also opens up about his career beyond the hits, and shines a light on projects that didn’t get the attention they deserved upon release.

Lovely watching this. I only got to know him now, after watching FEMME 3 times at the cinema. Mackay seems to be such a nice man, amazing beautiful voice and personality. Someone you feel like meeting and being friend with. And Im deeply in love with Preston :-)

George es alguien que cada vez que lo entrevistan me hace sentir muy tranquila... no solo ama lo que hace sino que es muy amable para compartir sus pensamientos. Trata en lo posible de responder con los mejores detalles al entrevistador, y eso se agradece.
Al igual que Tom Hiddleston, es un placer escucharlo.
Si fuera actriz me encantaría trabajar con él porque se nota que disfruta muchísimo el proceso de creación de su personaje y los personajes de sus colegas... es una dulzura.

Pure garbage. Self-justifying lies. Sex scenes are totally unnecessary, and are an insult to audiences as well as performers, just as his tattoos are a constant insult to other people.

the sex scenes were an integral part of the storytelling of these two characters' journey for *_this_* film.
Spanish: no soy fan de las escenas de sexo explícitas en las películas... pero hay veces como esta donde son necesarias. En esta película se explora la sexualidad de los personajes, a un nivel MUY íntimo y personal porque ambos de cierta manera lo esconden. En un libro escucharíamos los pensamientos o habría más diálogos para saber cómo se sienten, pero esto es formato cine, se comunica a través de la imagen.
