Miranda's death may be one of the worst onscreen deaths ever, but Gordon's realization of who Batman is, is AWESOME, so...Miranda...mostly forgiven 😁
I never thought anyone could top Charlie Sheen dying in Young Guns...but...we have a winner
Bane deserved better than getting blasted by Catwoman followed by a joke, didn’t like that part, other than that, excellent! Thanks
it's like so many other such deaths.
She said they did like a dozen takes and Nolan took the worst one! So Nolan.
@@thunderstruck5484 Yep. Also, to end up as just a henchman is quite insulting to the character.
As a few other people have already said, it's impossible to not get emotional at Michael Caine's crying in front of Thomas & Martha's graves. Exemplary acting from one of the best ever.
Especially right after the coat scene, which is perfect too.
I was holding it until that scene lol
The Joker was originally meant to be in the third movie, but Heath Ledger sadly passed not long before The Dark Knight was released. He posthumously won an Oscar for his great performance, but we were left with too-short a legacy.
He over dosed by abusing prescription drugs.
@@thereisnopandemicno what the fuck the medicine he was taken caused amnesia and he accidentally od'd he wasn't abusing
We know.
In the novelization of TDKR explained that Arkham closed but the Joker remains on it with high security, and all inmates were moved to a special wing in Black Glate.
I wonder what this movie would be like, if the joker were in it too...
I feel like this movie gets a lot of undeserved hate. Maybe because it had the job of following up The Dark Knight, but Rises is still amazing in its own right. Bane is an incredible villain who displays unmatched physical power. I am so happy that you watched the Dark Knight trilogy and enjoyed it. You should do more Chris Nolan films!
YOU HAVE TO DO ROBERT PATTINSONS "THE BATMAN" TOO!
Dark Knight Rises is 2nd best, after Batman Begins which I say it’s 1st place.
Yeah, it was tough for Tom Hardy to top Heath Ledger's performance. The only thing that bothered me about this movie was the obvious dub for Bane's voice. I guess Hardy was hard to understand with that mask, but I would've thought they could've come up with something better than having Hardy dub over himself.
@@thereisnopandemic Fat L
it has great moments and some very stupid moments.
I believe the reason Batman as a superhero is so popular is because he really shows the true nature of humans, by not being “super”, but instead, showing how far we can get with pure resolve and dedication towards what we think is right or wrong
And expensive tech.
He's the bourgeois hero, fighting for a status quo that has destroyed a lot of people in its wake.
I love that shot, where Alfred covered Bruce's parents gravestones by his body like he cared him whole life like father
You're not alone in loving Batman & Catwoman together! This is also my favorite of the trilogy!
I like Batman and cat woman , but I still prefer him and Wonder Woman
Batman and Catwoman. Both real human beings. Nothing supernatural or superpowered. That is the great thing about Batman.
In one version of the Batman comics, they get married.
Who’s gonna tell her about Heath Ledger? Not it.
Before I reply rip heath but this is comment is mad funny
Y’all be some spoiling asholes. Keep at it bums
Not me😢
Not it?
😂😂chill on her
My second favorite trilogy of all time. Only behind LOTR. This third movie has such a good ending. Christopher Nolan is a genius
Tom Hardy does an outstanding job in this, but then again he does in most of his roles.
You can actually see her brain working when shes trying to figure stuff out lol
This trilogy blows every other super hero franchise out the water ❤
it ruined DCEU. couldn't measured up
I never enjoyed superhero movies (only a fan of it when I was a child) except Batman. And I'm not surprised why. He's the only big superhero without superpowers. And Nolan made made me forget he made a superhero movie.
Only because Venom 3 isn't out yet.
/s
@@chand911 Venom 2 is a massive disappointment. I'm saying this as a Carnage fan.
Nah. The movies are good but not that good.
This one was always my favorite too. I've heard some reactors say they were told to skip this one. I'm glad you liked it.
You may already know this, but Dachshunds can develop back problems from jumping on/off beds and couches. You may want to look into getting her a ramp or some steps, if you don't already have them.
I will always cry at the scene where Alfred just can’t stop blaming himself of Bruce’s death 😭
Great reaction. It's pretty much impossible to not get choked up during Alfred's speech near the end. And your emotions at the end from tears to surprise to joy was GOLD. 👍😊
Greatest alfred by far. BY FAR
The way he tells Gordon who he is through how he remembers what Gordon did for him, without actually telling him his identity is so touching. Both understood what they meant to each other.
One of the things that stand out in this trilogy are the sincere connections between characters. Bruce with Ra's, Alfred, Gordon, and Harvey were especially great. They bring out the good in each other, even Ra's while he was helping Bruce. There's a lot of great and heartfelt human connection in this trilogy.
It's the fact that Gordon realizes HE was Batman's hero. That's what makes it..
Loved your reaction to the closing moments. The buzz of seeing this in the cinema was something else, great ending to a great trilogy👏🏻
The Batman trilogy is one of the best things cinematically speaking. It's pure gold direct from Christopher Nolan!
I love how Michael Caine goes for that funeral scene like he is in Citizen MF Kane. We don't deserve that man.
Yeah. That scene where Alfred is apologizing to Bruces parents at their graves absolutely destroyed me when i first saw this. GREAT acting there ......great trilogy over all.
Bane delivers pretty much my favorite line in the entire trilogy: "Oh you think the darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. Infact I didn't see the light until I was already a man. By then it was nothing but blinding." Imo, it would have made more sense to reveal his full name was Richard Grayson(in the comics, the original Robin's real name was Richard "Dick" Grayson).
The ending always gets me one of my fav trilogies and I love that Bruce told Gordon in the end there's also some pretty good DC animated films too
That scene with Alfred and Bruce in the cave was 😢 truly an emotional scene. Alfred wanted more for him than the life he chose. And everything Bruce fought for became in vain and to become vilified and hated. The cave scene is an emotional moment.
It’s funny that you shipped that relationship early because in the comic books, they have one of the best relationships.
This trilogy set the bar so high, dc haven't been able to match it ever since. It's truly epic, glad you enjoyed it! Got yourself a new subscriber! Also, love that you're family is Argentinian! Spent a few months there in BA, loved it 😀
"Not everything. Not yet" is the most badass and most underrated Batman line ever.
A beautiful ending to an amazing trilogy 🦇
michael caines acting is next level
The scene at the gravesite and the final scene at the restaurant just ruined me in theaters.
So I was an extra in this movie, and few things are as cool to me as getting to see people experience it for the first time since I had to keep some of it under wraps for so long. Great reaction!
Remember Ra's al-Ghul's (Arabic for the Demon's Head) comment at Wayne Manor about being immortal. In the comic books, Ra's (pronounced Rey-sh) is essentially immortal due to his access to what are various naturally occuring Fountains of Youth around the world - the Lazarus Pits, usually in deserts. Let's just say that the man is ancient, and every time he's mortally wounded or near death, he's placed inside of one only to be healed and restored.
Since the trilogy is a more realistic approach to Batman and his rogues gallery, the pit that is Bane's prison served as a metaphorical Lazarus Pit in the sense that what rose from the pit was a more realistic immortality of Ra's in the form of his daughter Talia, along with her and Bane leading the League of Shadows as his legacy (Bane was the face of it, but he answered to her), and attempting to bring to fruition Ra's' goal of destroying Gotham.
After Heath died, Nolan did not want to make this movie. Warner Bros convinced him to make it after they gave him the money to make his dream project "Inception" in return for promising to make Rises. So after he made Inception he made Rises. He decided to use the same actors from Inception for Rises. Bane is in it, Michael Cain is in it, so is Scarecrow, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Cotillard. They all play different characters though. Bane plays a good guy. Inception should be one of your future reactions. It's like what if Gotham were just a dream in Batman's head
The actor who plays the prison "chiropractor" also plays Albert Einstein in _Oppenheimer._
I already thought this was such a great reaction, as it went on. Then, the look on your face when you heard Robin’s name, put this reaction on such magnificent level. Ps., Batman and Catwoman, always a thing!
Man, watching the fandom for my favorite character deepen in other people is so gratifying. So glad you enjoyed this trilogy! It’s truly a beautiful thing!
A great final chapter to a complete trilogy. Was so nice that they didn't make any more after this too, like so many other superhero franchises that never end and just end up being boring and kiddy. Christopher Nolan did it right. I even like the lighting of these movies as well, it is realistic and grounds the whole trilogy in a sort of realism. That and details aren't overdone, heroes/villains don't have superhuman powers. The score is absolutely brilliant as well.
Your dog in the background SO ADORABLE OMG
It was a wild time to be a comic book movie fan.
Heath Ledger passed just before the release of The Dark Knight and never got to see the insane amount of respect he got for the role. Even though it was announced that he had finished filming The Dark Knight, and was even shooting for other projects up until he passed. And the world went CRAZY when Heath showed everybody--but nobody knew what the third movie was going to be. All we knew for sure is that, "You and I are--" no longer "destined to do this forever." It was a dark time.
People were so fucked up over it that our cynical asses were over here saying shit like, "When Heath Ledger died, Harvey Dent came back to life," and we got... THIS. I love this one the most out of the three. But I had a very medically complicated childhood. The body makes the jump, but survival is the spirit.
The final scene with Alfred seeing Bruce is just 🤌🏻 perfection.
Actually some people said the scene serves as an open end because Nolan wanted to kill Batman off. But the studio insisted so they settled on a middle ground with an open end
Man. Your emotions are so deep and genuine, I love your reaction to these movies. You should watch more Christopher Nolan's films.
Saludos desde Argentina 😊🇦🇷
Que buen cierre de la trilogía, mi favorita. Amé tu reacción
That’s why TDK trilogy is the best superhero movie. The hero in this movie is not against aliens/mutant/someone who’d became a monster from lab’s mistakes.
Nolan gave us a hero that’s gonna be a symbol & fight the corruption and pure evil peoples.
That’s why this movie is so related to most people (especially these days).
I mean if those are reasons TDK trilogy are the best superhero movies, you can find other superhero movies that fit this criteria (i.e. Iron Man)
Also, I'm not sure what "these days" is supposed to mean here. How is it more relatable to people these days?
@@mechanomics2649 the corrupt peoples. Are you blind ? Or you just aint given a sh*t to what happened around you ?
Thank you for your reaction and participation on my all time Hero.🙂
40:45 In the comics and shows, 'Robin' is more like a title that gets passed on from person to person, like 'Batman' is, and not really an actual name. I think 'Robin' as a name is just easier to recognize for people that don't know much about Batman and DC comics and just know that 'Robin' is (one of) Batman's sidekicks.
This was such a fun reaction. Thank you so much taking us long the ride 😁
Awesome reaction Stef I remember seeing this in theaters and really enjoying it also I subscribed to your channel👍👍
@42:07 As I commented before! Smile says it all. Supreme trilogy!
Robin Becomes BATMAN. He is The DARK KNIGHT RISES like the Title indicate at the end, when he stands on it and rises
Love your videos, you have excellent taste and it’s nice to see someone get as emotional as I did when I watched these films 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
If i didn't know any better, you'd think that the dog in the backgournd was slowly crawling into frame because he likes being on camera lol 16:39 he does it a few times during the movie
Stef seems to have come out of her shell more so to speak, she seems a lot more in her own in this video and comfortable sharing her giddy expressive side more. Nice to see and another great reaction
Yaay! You fixed your audio problem! I can finally hear both you AND the movie youre watching! Good job!
its impossible to not cry at Alfred's speech at the gravestone.
My favourite of the trilogy. It just feels much more satisfying.
Tus lágrimas me hicieron suscribirme. Creeme que me emocioné con vos :'). Saludos desde Argentina! Mañana voy a ver la reacción a "The Dark Knight", mi favorita!
Abrazo, Teffi
I love how they too inspiration from A Tale of Two Cities for this movie and even read a line from it at the funeral
The trilogy is still amazing, if you get chance Stef check out 13 hours secret soldiers of Benghazi , it’s a war film but it’s a quality film
Yeah, In honor of the legend and the legacy of Batman, this was a befitting ending by Christopher Nolan. Nolan is a master story teller and is so intricate about connecting the finer details. Like the reveal of Batman by connecting Lt. Gordon putting a coat around a boy when his parents got shot in the first move, was amazing. The hidden villan Miranda Tate masked by Bane and even smaller things like the Software patch on the autopilot, the missing pearls and best reveal of all, Robin!, it was so subtle, who takes over from Batman. The best part about Batman is he can be anyone, unseen, like Gordon said “A silent guardian, a watchful protector…"... Amazing reactions, glad you liked it.
Actually BatCat is one of the most persistent ships in comic book history, and is my personal favorite relationship for Batman.
This is one of my most favorite trilogies. Glad you enjoyed it as much too and i loved your reaction
Lucius Fox: "this flying vehicle is The Bat"
Stef: "naw bro, that's The Cockroach"
Anyone who has tried grad school knows the feeling of dread of final term exams, ones brain feels like cheap crackers left in hot soup too long... your just a hypnotized mush that probably needs to be slapped back into reality. But I watched this to decompress and i loved it and so needed it. I shed tears at the same exact time you did and my daughter tells me i still turn and curl up in my chair when spooked or uneasy.
The Dark Knight Rises is My Favorite Movie of the trilogy too
Rises is my favorite too. That's no slight to The Dark Knight. I love it. It's nearly perfect. But the end of Rises is perfect and concludes the whole trilogy perfectly.
The Dark Knight trilogy and Batman 89 ESPECIALLY Batman Returns is all you need . Best Batman movies ever, Returns and Dark Knight being my favorite. To add an extra, Batman Mask of the Phantasm is an amazing Batman movie also, it's animated.
So you didn't watch The Batman with Robert Pattinson? Batman vs. Superman with brilliant Batfleck?
I recommend Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero. It was the highlight of my last Batman TAS rewatch. I actually think it's even better than Mask of the Phantasm, possibly because I never watched that one as a kid. "On Leather Wings" and "Feat of Clay part 1 and 2" are definitely on the same high level too. You can't beat this version of Batman but Nolan and Bale came really close.
Thank you Stef for watching this trilogy which in my opinion is one of the best trilogies of all time. Keep up the great work. Aloha
BTW Stef, Catwoman and Joker were in Batman's first ever comic appearance in 1939-1940.
Glad you finally finished this journey of The Dark Knight Trilogy, and I think I would at some point love for you to watch Inception, Breaking Bad, Game Of Thrones (even with the divisive ending), and Stranger Things
your dog behind you is so funny 😆
This is the best description about this amazing trilogy. 42:18
Hi Stef. Glad You Enjoyed This a GREAT End To a Wonderful Trilogy (& Yes When ALFRED Was Crying So WAS Everyone in The Cinema) 😉
Awesome reaction x
LOVED UR REACTION ❤
Great Reaction🔥 I have 1 question what kind of camera do you use?
Fan fact that board member that volunteered is Christopher and Jonathan Nolan's uncle, John Nolan. He makes cameos in their projects.
One of the best movie trilogies. The best is Dark Knight, but I also like Begins because I watched it several times as a child and played the PS2 game Batman Begins.
"I'm gonna take down the Batman", impression is so cute! Sleepy puppy in the background!
The joy you get out of watching this trilogy is truly contagious. My 3rd favorite trilogy after Lord of the Rings and the originated three Star Wars movies 😁...
1. Lord of the Rings
2. Star Wars Eps. IV-VI
3. The Dark Knight Trilogy
4. Captain America Trilogy
5. The "Before" Trilogy
6. Rocky I-III
7. Die Hard Trilogy
8. Planet of the Apes (most recent trilogy)
9. Indiana Jones Trilogy
10. How To Train Your Dragon
HONORABLE MENTIONS
•Creed Trilogy
•Godfather Trilogy (3rd one is so bad it drags it down)
•Matrix Trilogy
•The Hobbit Trilogy
•Back To The Future
•"Cornetto" Trilogy
•Toy Story Trilogy
•John Wick Trilogy (even though it's incomplete w/o Chapter 4)
Thanks!
The bats coming out while Bruce is making the climb is symbolic of “fear finding him again”
Perfection in a reaction. happy sad confused. Sooo beautifull
uh Catwoman is in Batman, she is a batman villian/ sometimes hero and said to be the greatest love interest of batman beside like talia al ghul (in this movie Miranda)
You’re the best reactor I’ve seen on UA-cam! Putting all the important details in your edit, great observation skills (putting 1 and 1 together throughout the film) and most IMPORTANTLY: you don’t talk CONSTANTLY like other reactors, causing them to miss all the important details of the film and make viewers simply annoyed. Keep it up❤
Marion Cotillard. A wonderful actress. She really stuns in Christopher Nolan's Inception. Not sure if you've seen that one...

gran reaccion saludos desde Argentina , lo del fernet me emociono jajajaja tienes un seguidor nuevo , siempre me emociono con estas reacciones , sos la mejor me encanta como demostras todo con tus ojos , beso.
I saw this film so many times in the theaters. This trilogy began a run a great films for DC that is unmatched.
Did she say that she hates that people like the star spangled banner?
It wasn't clear what she said. I was wondering about that, too.
A couple days ago i watched a couple of reactors watch The Batman.....they seem to be nice people, but they would not stop CHATTERING about actors, etc, and they kept talking over important dialogue, etc. I found you recently and you talk TO THE MOVIE. You're totally into it, and as a film lover, I appreciate that.
OVERBOARD (1987) - The Best Camedy
Selena Kyle's friend is played by Juno Temple. She's in a lot of indie films but she's most recently well known for playing Keeley on Ted Lasso.
How did you edit the music out of some scenes?
The kid you're thinking of from the first movie grew up to play Joffery in GOT
Love your reactions!
Me encanto, yo la vi en el cine y jamas había visto a tanta gente llorar ...simplemente una obra maestra..saludos desde Mexico City
Greetings man and I agree too
Love your dog just taking a nap back there
You're so beautiful and a sweetheart 💖
The top Cop that came after seeing the sign, and died fighting...is one of my favorite actors. Watch him younger in 2 movies in 80s, Vision Quest and then Gross Anatomy, you'll like both.
Merry Christmas 🎄
Stef, now youve dived deep in Nolan films with the Dark Knight trilogy & Interstellar id emplore you to watch Inception. Its Nolans masterpiece in my opinion and has several Dark Knight actors in it. One of the deep burning questions at the end here is, despite Bruce patching the software, did he actually survive or was Alfred just seeing what he wanted to see? Your reaction journey has only just begun and there are endless classics for you to watch. All best from 🏴
Alfred: I'm so sorry....
You:
